POTUS Doesn't Relate Well to Easter

As part of his Moslem "taghiyah" (lies), Obama attended a Baptist Church founded by slaves as an orchestrated show of "honoring" Easter, yet, though he has proclaimed major days of other religions such as Islamic Ramadan, he "forgot to do an Easter proclamation thus by comparison insulting ALL Christians.

Obama made a video message to the people of Iran for the Persian (Zoroastrian) holiday of Nowruz but didn’t make a video for Easter.

President Obama delivered official messages for Passover, Ramadan and Diwali. But for Easter? Not so much.

The White House came under fire this week for neglecting to issue official statements for either Easter or Good Friday, though Mr. Obama did take time Friday to address Earth Day, a celebration observed by tens of thousands of pagan worshippers of the earth goddess Gaia.



Obama has had a difficult official relationship with Easter.

One of the reasons to vote for someone for president—perhaps the key reason, in fact—is good judgment. Hillary Clinton may have taken a lot of flak for her "3 a.m. phone call" ad during the Democratic primaries in 2008, but she was basically right: Ideologically, there wasn't that much distance between Obama and Clinton, which meant that a big part of any liberal's decision that year was deciding which candidate had the better judgment. We knew how both of them felt about health care reform and climate change and education policy, but what would they do when something came up that no one could predict? How would they handle a Katrina or a 9/11?

I was one of many who ended up voting for Obama on the grounds that his judgment seemed a bit sounder. Maybe not as toughminded as Hillary, but just as smart and, in foreign affairs, seemingly a little more willing to look at the world with fresh eyes and resist the siren call of intervention at every turn. So how's that working out for me?

I appeared on David Asman's show this evening to discuss the hypocrisy of the Obama gang's new fallacious attack on the US Chamber of Commerce, projecting Democrat crimes on unsuspecting decent orgs.

Obama received donations from people in Gaza and other foreign entities. He claimed to have returned the contributions from Gaza, but there is no record of his having done so. Apparently Obama's clean-up crew sent Asman a record of "refunds" -- something he claimed in '08 but which never appeared in the records. They claim that the money has been returned, but the donors in Gaza said it wasn't. When we reviewed the records it wasn't. The fixers had two years to wash these dirty donations clean. Dirty pool.

The White House sent David Asman this link showing a refund, but you'll notice it doesn't come near the $33,000 donated to Obama from Gaza; nor does it list Osama Monin's refund. Where's Osama, Obama?

Scrub a dub dub.

His FEC records were full of donations from people with obviously fake names, and other questionable material. In contrast, McCain's were squeaky clean.

Scary: POTUS still Doesn't Understand What Iran About

Anne Bayefsky compares President Obama's UN General Assembly address with President Ahmadinejad's and concludes that Obama doesn't understand what's at stake.

When Obama took center stage at the U.N., it got off to a bad start and only got worse. The president arrived late and, as leader of the host nation, delivered his speech one slot after its originally scheduled time. He then spent just a few short sentences on the most lethal threat to peace and security today: the acquisition of the world’s most dangerous weapon by the leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran. In those few minutes, Obama chose not to speak the plain truth — that Iran seeks nuclear weapons — or to commit his government to stopping them, period. He said instead that Iran had not yet demonstrated peaceful intent and asked Ahmadinejad to “confirm” this intent. Obama’s primary message was that “the door remains open to diplomacy should Iran choose to walk through it.”

Ahmadinejad has heard this plea from the Obama administration so many times before that he has clearly stopped counting. Ahmadinejad understands perfectly well that confronting Iran is out of sync with the “new era of engagement” that is the trademark of Obama’s foreign policy. “Engagement” looks like this: The president of the United States keeps talking about “extended hands” and “open doors,” and the president of Iran keeps building nuclear weapons. As recently as September 19, even Secretary Hillary Clinton told Christiane Amanpour, “We’ve said to the Iranians all along…we still remain open to diplomacy. But it’s been very clear that the Iranians don’t want to engage with us.”

Ahmadinejad, therefore, took the opportunity provided by the U.N. to slam the door once more in President Obama’s face. While he lectured about the “lust for capital and domination” and “the egotist and the greedy,” the American U.N. delegation sat stoically in their seats. They had instructions to tough it out until Ahmadinejad really got offensive — though what would count as sufficiently offensive was never publicly announced.

In fact, President Obama played to his U.N. audience just as the president of Iran did. Obama made the centerpiece of his speech an overt squeeze on the state of Israel. Before a U.N. audience infamously hostile to Israel, he demanded that Prime Minister Netanyahu renew the moratorium on building “settlements.” He made no such specific demands of the Palestinian side. Instead, he painted a picture of moral equivalence between the terrorists that seek Israel’s annihilation and Israel’s reasonable skepticism of a negotiating partner that still refuses to accept a Jewish state, referring to “rejectionists on both sides” that “will try to disrupt the process with bitter words and with bombs.”

Ahmadinejad got the message. Israel is vulnerable with President Obama in office, and Iran has no serious reason to believe that hate and terror will be on the losing end any time soon.

The caliph in Sunni Islam is the successor of Muhammad as the military, political, and spiritual leader of the Islamic community. The caliph is the center of the unity of the Muslim umma, and allegiance to him for Muslims supersedes national allegiances.

Spoken like a true antisemite. "Illegal" occupation? Yes, at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Yesterday, Obama laid out his vision for Middle East war:

Flanked by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Sen. George Mitchell, special envoy to the Middle East, Obama said the U.S. would actively and aggressively seek a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians and a comprehensive peace between Israel and all of its Arab neighbors.

The president spelled out the aim of the direct talks that will be led by Clinton. "Our goal is a two-state solution that ends the conflict and ensures the rights and security of both Israelis and Palestinians and despite the inevitable challenges we have never wavered in pursuit of this goal," he said, adding that both sides had taken "important steps" to build confidence over the last year.

There are two states: Israel and Jordan (Jordan represents over 88% of "Palestine").

The relaunch of direct talks after nearly two years comes amid news of the murder of four Israeli settlers by Hamas gunmen in the West Bank town of Hebron -- violence which Obama, Netanyahu, and Abbas condemned. Israeli settlement construction on occupied territory has remained a thorny matter between the two sides as they seek to reach an agreement on final status issues.

Jews in the Jewish homeland remain a point of contention to the Jew haters. Period.

"The goal is a settlement negotiated between the parties that ends the occupation, which began in 1967 and results in the emergence of an independent, democratic and viable Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with a Jewish state of Israel and its other neighbors," Obama said. When Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews feature a spokesman for a Hamas-linked Muslim Brotherhood front group, without notifying their viewers about the unsavory ties of the spokesman they're featuring, and when they allow that spokesman to defame Americans who are trying to defend Constitutional freedoms and generally accepted principles of human rights, more and more people are realizing that these people are not journalists, but propagandists, and propagandists of the worst sort.

So they are turning away, in droves. And they are coming here, where the truth is told, fully and honestly and without obfuscation. With over three million unique visitors and counting, August 2010 has been our biggest month ever -- topping last month, which was our biggest month ever up to that point.

Barack Obama Just Became a one-term President

Obama came out for the Islamic supremacist mosque at the hallowed ground of 911 attack. He has, in effect, sided with the Islamic jihadists and told the ummah (at an Iftar dinner on the third night of Ramadan, of course) that he believes in and supports a triumphal mosque on the cherished site of Islamic conquest.

If you had any doubt who Obama stood with on 911, there can be no doubt in our minds now.

I believe he planned it all along. He waited until Ramadan. Symbolic. He has now turned our Ground Zero protest on 911 into a mega-event. The very idea of a 15-story mega-mosque on hallowed ground in indecent, offensive and outrageous. If Imam Rauf and his wife Daisy really wanted to "reach out" and "heal," they would give the $120 million to the first responders suffering from exposure to the toxic environment at Ground Zero after Muslim terrorists brought down the World Trade Center and slaughtered 3,000 Americans.

Is the president incapable of common decency?

Obama knows this is not about religious liberty. No one has suggested abridging the first amendment to stop the mosque. There are hundreds of mosques in New York, thousands in America. This is not a religious issue. This is a national security issue.

Once again, Obama puts himself directly at odds with the majority of the American people, as is his way and the hallmark of his presidency. This is all explained in detail in my book.

Obama Defends Ground Zero Mosque Plan MSNBC

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Friday endorsed plans for a Muslim mosque two blocks from ground zero in New York City, declaring that "Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country."

In remarks prepared for delivery at a White House dinner celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Obama said all Americans have the right to worship as they choose.

"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances, Obama said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable."

Obama emphasized the point as New York City is immersed in a deeply sensitive debate about whether a mosque should be built near the site of the World Trade Center's twin towers.

It was the president's first remarks about the mosque controversy. The White House previously called the matter solely a local one.

At the dinner attended by two Muslim-American congressmen, Obama acknowledged that hot-fire emotions the planned mosque and cultural center have stoked.

"Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground," the president said.

He just became a one-term president. The field is wide open for 2012.

In a support protest of the temporarily "suspended" stoning execution of Sakineh by the Islamic regime in Iran implementing their medieval so-called Islamic "religion" (somewhat like an even more brutal implementation of Biblical Old Testament customs) this scene was set up to depict reality.

In trying to do this, they made a mistake. The rocks shown are far too large and potentially individually lethal!

The rules of stoning demand that rocks should be big enough to inflict pain but NOT to kill. Death comes eventually by repeated impacts on the victim's head weakening the skull and finally creating a set of mortal brain injuries.

WAKE UP AMERICA! This is part of the Islamic MEDIEVAL "religious" sharia law you are allowing into our country under the guise of tolerance of religion, while it is, as many experts (and a Tennessee candidate for office) are saying, "an ism" like fascism. communism and not a religion but a complete system of social life including a political and militant and even military aspect that makes it an "ism" rather than a worship of a deity.

Part of this "religion" is to defeat and subjugate all non-Moslems worldwide. And if takes killing MOSLEMS to achieve this, so be it.

They are infiltrating us using "taghiyeh" (permitted lying to protect or promote Islam) and our own emotional weakeness to confront what pretends to be a religion and not to offend it. Like trying NOT to use surgery to confront cancer.

There are a myriads Moslems, living in the West, who are NOT involved with the Moslem extreme fundementalist and live their lives in an integrated fashion, to the extent of not even practising their Moslem religion of birth. They are allowed to do so by an exemption in sharia which says that if they have to avoid open practise of Islam because of where they are located, they are free to do so.

Yet they are also constantly vulnerable to physical and emotional attack by fundementalists for not adhering to sharia laws.

There are 12 women on death row in Islamic Iran facing execution by stoning and Sakineh, who has a temporary reprieve because of the international outcry, now faces hanging to remove this thorn in their side.

So being hanged for ALLEGED adultery (religious courts in Iran are kangaroo court charades, specially with women defendants) is part of the Iranian regime Obama is so intent on supporting while they slaughter their populace.

Many wonder if he "ignorantly" misunderstands what he is doing to destroy the USA and much of the global economy or is gleefully and successfully doing it on purpose, in support of his Moslem beliefs and to repay those who put him in office like George Soros, Islamic Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Cliff May argues that if President Obama reads Mosab Hassan Yousef's Son of Hamas, he might understand why his Middle East policies are all wrong.

The problem for Hamas, writes Mosab Hassan Yousef, has never been “Israel’s policies.” The problem for Hamas is “Israel’s very existence.” Hamas, Yousef adds, is “animated by religious fervor and the theology of jihad,” and it is “dedicated to the extinction of Israel.”

Then came Camp David: In 2000, Pres. Bill Clinton put pressure on Israeli prime minister Ehud Barack, who offered Yasser Arafat, president of the Palestinian Authority and leader of Fatah, “about 90 percent of the West Bank, the entire Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem as the capital of a new Palestinian state.” Additionally, Mosab writes, “a new international fund would be established to compensate Palestinians for property that had been taken from them. This ‘land for peace’ offer represented a historic opportunity for the long-suffering Palestinian people, something few Palestinians would have dared imagine possible. But even so, it was not enough for Arafat,” who rejected the offer, refused to negotiate further, and launched a bloody intifada against Israel.

Why? Yousef explains: “Yasser Arafat had grown extraordinarily wealthy as the international symbol of victimhood. He wasn’t about to surrender that status and take on the responsibility of actually building a functioning society. . . . For Arafat, there always seemed to be more to gain if Palestinians were bleeding. Another intifada would surely get the blood flowing and the Western news cameras rolling once again.”

He wrote Son of Hamas because, he writes, “When Middle Eastern nations — Jews and Arabs alike — start to understand some of what I understand, only then will there be peace.”

And it would help if President Obama were to read his book and realize that Israel’s policies — least of all its plans to build housing for growing families in a Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem — are the least of the obstacles standing in the way of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

The problem is that Obama would probably just dismiss Yousef as a traitor.

Selling Out the Citizens on Health Care

If we have learned anything from the lengthy health care debacle, it is that only the reconciliation of controversial measures has a chance for bringing them into law. The limited debate has no room for Republicans, who can be counted upon to oppose any measure.
The President seems unable to pursue this strategy.

The President remains stuck in the quagmire of health insurance. He allowed the special interests to write the Senate version. When they saw Ms Coakley was going to lose, they pumped $millions into her campaign at the last minute. If the House Democrats can muster 218 votes to pass the Senate bill, they can retrieve something from the fiasco.

Dear President Obama,

On November 2, 1989, I was burned with cigarettes more than 111 times. I was raped over and over again--and this was only the beginning.

During the past few years, I have had ample reason to reflect on the life of an extraordinary man, Jean Amery, an Austrian philosopher who was tortured by the Nazis. I was first introduced to his writings shortly after my own torture in Guatemala. Like many who have survived this unspeakable horror, I emerged from that clandestine prison lost and broken--a body without a soul. Gone was the God to whom I had committed my life. Gone was trust, the very idea of justice betrayed. Gone was all that I had believed in. Everything that defined me as a human being ceased to exist.

Amery's words, odd as this may seem, brought some comfort: "Anyone who has been tortured remains tortured." "Anyone who has suffered torture never again will be at ease in the world...faith in humanity, already cracked by the first slap in the face, then demolished by torture, is never acquired again."

These words seemed written just for me. Somehow, somewhere on this earth was another person who understood what I had learned at the cruel hands of my torturers. For a moment at least, it gave me peace of mind. It was only years later that I would understand the fundamental meaning of Amery's words: "Anyone who has suffered torture, never again will be at ease in the world." And it was years after this understanding that I would learn that Jean Amery had killed himself.

Mr. President, from anonymous graves, voices still cry out. From clandestine prisons, in the midst of indescribable pain, we, my sisters and brothers, beg you to hear. Will you listen to what we alone know of this crime against humanity--what we know from the inside out?

Please hear us! Torture does not end with the release from some clandestine prison. It is not something we "get over." Simply, "looking forward" is not an option for us. Torture is a permanent invasion of our minds and our souls. Surviving is far worse that the actual physical torture itself. Those wounds heal in time--but the memories cling to us. Psychological torture is time without end. No one fully recovers from torture. The damage can never be undone.

What is our claim to speak with authority on this subject? We have been beaten, hanged by wrists, arms, or legs, burned by electrical devices or cigarettes, bitten by humans and dogs, cut or stabbed with knives or machetes. And this is only a sample of what has been done to us. Each mark, visible or invisible, is a permanent reminder of what was done to us--a reminder that in so many cases fills us with embarrassment and even shame. What a cruel irony that it is the tortured one and not the torturer who feels shame.

And what an irony it is that today in the United States, the tortured so often are told that what they experienced was not even cruel and unusual, let alone torture. What an irony that those who oppose torture, oppose the violation of U.S law by acts of non-violent civil resistance can be sent to prison while those who ordered this brutality walk free, receiving the de facto impunity implied in your call to "look forward" and only forward.

Mr. President, there is ample reason to believe that important members of the previous administration may well have violated the law. Is it not your responsibility and that of the Attorney General to investigate that possibility? And if the law was violated, is it not your responsibility to hold perpetrators accountable, no matter how exalted their previous positions?

We who have paid the dreadful price of torture beseech you to determine just what happened to law and morality during the past eight years and to make those findings public. It is only by an independent investigation that we will learn the truth, and, if that investigation warrants, it will be by prosecution that we may hold to account those who violated the law and despoiled our national honor. Getting things right in the future depends on knowing what went wrong in the past. You know this when it comes to the economy. You know this when it comes to a health care system. How can you not know it when it comes to human rights?

Mr. President, on behalf of those who know this cruel subject so well, I ask you to act in service to the truth and to the principle that no matter how high the position held nor how much power accrues to it, its incumbent must be held accountable to the law. As I hope you will agree, sir, to do less is to betray the very idea of justice.

Given a previous instance of rhetorical overlap between Scowcroft and Obama, it's worth noting that the Illinois Democrat advanced a similarly "realist" analysis regarding Iran's influence in Iraq earlier this year, when he said: "We are not going to kill every Al Qaeda sympathizer, eliminate every trace of Iranian influence, or stand up a flawless democracy before we leave."

Racism and Bigotry Trump Liberty

During 300 years of slavery black people were well aware of how white folks felt about them. The relatives of the 1,000,000 Muslims slain in Iraq and the 4,000,000 made homeless know the hatred of whites first hand.

Instead of beginning with analysis, let's begin with some sad facts; When Kentucky Representative Ben Chandler endorsed Barack Obama, over 500 phone calls flooded his office, the vast majority of them using the word "nigger."

Chandler's aides (who were white) went home shaken, crying, in utter disbelief. They didn't think racism still existed.

I'm from Kentucky, and I'm black, and can tell you that perhaps it was "culture" when I went to a semi-nerdy mock-government camp in Frankfort, KY, assigned to a hotel room with 4 white girls, and it was assumed we'd all split beds. There were 2 queen size beds. ALL four of them chose to sleep in one bed, rather than to sleep in the bed in which I slept. Perhaps that was just their "culture?"

And that instance was just something off the top of my head ...

Why are we skirting around this issue? Why are we coming up with excuses? It seems as though people are more afraid of being called racist than they are afraid of actually being racist.

Obviously not every Appalachian white person who votes for Clinton is racist, but enough (21 percent) admitted that race mattered to them in their selection of a candidate to bode poorly for the non-white candidate -- no matter the bona fides.

When that is the case, how can you tell Obama that it's his problem -- as an earlier poster noted, no matter what he does, the goalposts change -- he's smart and successful translates into "uppity;" he's the underdog translates into "he's incompetent." They will not be happy until he does the cakewalk for them and grins like Jolson.

Thus Hillary's use of code phrases -- designed to be direct and easily understood by those with animosity towards blacks, resentful of blacks, distrustful of blacks -- those who are ... let's face it -- racists.

Dee Davis says Obama should have visited rural voters more. Why? So that he can change the mind of the Marietta, GA man who portrayed Obama as Curious George? So he can expose his two daughters to possible death threats, so they can witness the panoply of black lawn jockeys? I wish I were merely some Hollywood elite,"deriding" these people; no, I'm just someone who grew up around them, and I knew years ago what those Chandler aides just found out this month: racism is alive and well in "the hills."
