Why do Bankers Control the Earth?

Banking was conceived in inequity and born in sin... Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money, and, with a flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again... Debt Slavery as a Way of Life

The Haitian Slave Revolt ousted the French slave masters. They insisted on compensation in gold [150 millions francs] for their human "property." That was in 1821. By 1900 service of this debt absorbed 80% of Haiti's national product and it continued to cripple the economy. By the time Haiti retired this debt in 1947, she had accumulated many more.
From the beginning of the current earthquake catastrophe the French have urged other donor nations to give aid in the form of grants with no expectation of repayment. It was fitting for France to make this suggestion, as she has made the Haitians debt slaves for 189 years. It is arguable the Haitians were better treated when they they were held in physical bondage.
A similar case can be made for the population in many Third World nations. A web of international banks, cartels and holding companies have captured the economies of many former colonies. Virtually any setback can expand the debt burden for a less developed nation and, increasingly, for richer countries as well.
The debt burden expands yearly through administered rates of interest. The creditor always has the upper hand in dealings with the debtor who must endure natural and man made disasters. He is under the force of law to make repayment. In locales where regulation is weak and law enforcement is lax, the creditors can game the system shamefully. The debtors haven't a hope.
Throughout history many thinkers have put forward conspiracy theories to explain these disasters. Somehow, a small group can generate a war or a depression to serve personal interests. There are many groups that promote grandiose aspirations, but few that can implement even the most humble plan. Human beings are simply not that clever.

The French slave owners had no idea the reparations would continue until 1947. Few of them would have wished the curse of slavery to continue for 189 years. Certainly, the newly freed slaves imagined rosier prospects. We live in a world of unintended consequences.

The World Sleeps Enslaved

Mr Obama has staffed his Cabinet with establishment figures similar to the ones who ushered in this era of lawlessness. Their one saving grace is they know exactly how the thugs ruined our country.
The one jewel among Obama's appointees is the future UN Ambassador Dr Susan E Rice. She is one of the few Americans who speaks against genocide and actually does something about it.
The world suffers from the distinct lack of human rights and their enforcement. There is no government [aside from Costa Rica and Sweden] that empowers the people over the establishment.
The US and Israel stand out from other nations primarily because they are occupiers. Both pretend to be democracies while treating their citizens as dirt. At least, some of their citizens recognize their plight and seek redress.
The rest of the world sleeps enslaved.

Sixteen Years in Chains

An illegal hold order has detained me in a Middle Eastern country for 16 years. I have committed no crime. Indeed, it was the 'host' nation that deprived me of human rights. All I received from 35 appearances in civil courts were several beatings that made me blind for four years and crippled me for life. They are guilty of violating 26 of my human rights as described by the 1948 UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
After I appealed to my native country's Embassy, the employees there notified my host's Interior Ministry. The Ministry issued an interrogation order on me and the Police chased me. Although I eluded them, they made a behind the back decision to make me a citizen. Then, the host Parliament enacted a new law that dual citizens had to pass a Police check to leave the country.
Suffice to say I will leave this place only in a coffin.
I have met scores of victims in similar situations. Most of them are dead.
Many human beings resist slavery and abuse in every way they can. Sadly, most of these efforts end in death. We are no match for the apparatus of the modern state.
Abolish slavery!

Sex Work vs. Trafficking: Understanding the Difference

There are big differences between women trafficked into sexual slavery and voluntary sex workers. So why are we treating them the same?

Even those who mean well sometimes confuse the human rights abuse of trafficking in persons with the human occupation of prostitution, or sex work. It's understandable because of the history of the two fields, but it creates rather than solves problems. Let me try to sort it out here.

The tendency to treat trafficking and prostitution as if they were the same thing has a long and problematic history. Legislation and social discussion have often blurred or denied any difference, but that has always made things worse rather than better for those involved.

The trafficking of women and children into sexual slavery is undeniably a gross abuse of human rights. Like all trafficking, it involves coercion or trickery or both. Sex trafficking is an odious forms of trafficking, but it is far from the only one. Men, women and children are also -- and more commonly -- trafficked routinely for purposes of household and farm labor as well as sweatshop manufacturing. Their lives may be less media-genic than those of sex trafficking victims, but they are no less brutal, dangerous and degraded.

A narrow focus on the single aspect of sex trafficking is often fueled by sensationalist and sometimes salacious accounts of sexual abuse. It leads us to ignore these other forms of trafficking, and so denies help and protection to all the men, women and children forced into and trapped in abusive working situations in other industries.

By the same token, treating sex work as if it is the same as sex trafficking both ignores the realities of sex work and endangers those engaged in it. Sex workers include men and women and transgender persons who offer sexual services in exchange for money. The services may include prostitution (sexual intercourse) and other services such as phone sex. Sex workers engage in this for many reasons, but the key distinction here is that they do it voluntarily. They are not coerced or tricked into staying in the business but have chosen this from among the options available to them.

A key goal of sex worker activists is to improve sex-working conditions, but self-organization is impossible when sex work is regarded as merely another form of slavery. Then authorities and laws trying to stop true slavery -- trafficking -- get misapplied to sex workers, clients and others involved in the sex industry. Law enforcement raids in the U.S. and abroad, for example, have led to little success identifying trafficked persons but instead have driven sex work underground. This exposes sex workers to an increased risk of violence and denies them any protection of laws against assault or access to medical, legal and educational services. It denies them their human rights.

A national anti-trafficking law enacted in 2000 recognizes "severe forms of trafficking" as a modern form of slavery that involves a broad spectrum of workers and industries. In this interpretation, trafficking is clearly distinguished from voluntary sex work and thus avoids the absurdity of equating the fear and suffering of a trafficked person with the typical working conditions of voluntary sex workers. These conditions are often far from ideal, but nevertheless they are far removed from debt bondage or enslavement.

The Activists Generally Ignore the Real Issues

In no special order, I list problems to be addressed. They include sale of nuclear secrets to the highest bidder, government-run trafficking in drugs and human beings, torture, corporate use of slave labor, abduction across international borders and human rights abuse.
The culprits thrive in federal, state and local governments throughout the world. Any talk of reform or revolution is premature. The first step is to define and to publicize the ills and the perpetrators. It should not be left to a handful of whistle blowers to risk their lives to shed light on these matters.
All of us should stand with them.

Re: NAFTA. Nobody Will Admit Fatherhood

Somewhere, there are 10,000 pencil pushers at work to define the specifics of the New American Century. The protocol makes Big Brother appear the kindly old uncle.
The monster raises his head from the murky depths rarely. Usually called NAFTA, he strikes terror into the hearts of the great unwashed [us]. It has gotten so bad that his recent manifestations are virtually a secret such as NSPD51.
NAFTA introduces slavery to three countries. Without habeas corpus and human rights liberty ends. What politician would publicly espouse that? What citizen would vote to be a slave?
To establish the European Union Codes, they sent the new laws in packets to the Parliament to be rubber-stamped without discussion.
The North Americans will get NAFTA in one big lump, as an accomplished fact.
