Fatwa Issued on Brit Home Secretary
Posters issuing a fatwa against Theresa May have appeared in South London, prompting an investigation by Scotland Yard.
The Metropolitan Police are seeking the source of the Wild West-style posters, which claim the fatwa has been issued 'for the abduction, kidnapping and false imprisonment' of various radical clerics.
A fatwa can - but not always - be interpreted as an incitement to kill, and is an order issued by scholars in the Islamic faith.

In Sunni Islam a fatwa is considered non-binding, while in Shia Islam it could be considered by an individual as binding.
The posters appeared at the same time as the Home Secretary announced in Parliament yesterday controversial reforms of control orders for terrorism suspects.
A link on the posters directs people to a website which states: 'The current reality of Muslims living in Britain has unfortunately become very bleak; what was initially perceived by some, to be a malicious smear campaign against the Muslim community has now turned into something far more sinister.

At Least Ten NYC Synagogues Threatened for New Year's
Manhattan, NY - frightening letter was sent to an Upper West Side synagogue threatening to blow it up on New Year's Eve, (as first reported on Vos Iz Neias), -- and the rabbi there says as many as a dozen other local synagogues received similar sinister missives...
The note was discovered at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Congregation Ohab Zedek synagogue on 95th Street near Columbus Avenue, said Rabbi Allen Schwartz.
“We have reasons to believe someone wants to spread fear,” Schwartz told The Post.
“It was a letter sent to 10 or 12 [other] synagogues,” he added.
He declined to elaborate, citing a police investigation.
One wonders what it said, eh? Or what language it was written in? Who they are protecting?
The bomb threat to Ohab Zedek was made the same day a report was released by the state Division of Criminal Justice Services showing that hate crimes across the state had jumped 14 percent in 2009.
In the city, hate crimes rose 6 percent in the same period, with Manhattan having the second-highest number of incidents at 70.
Look at those stats:
Fredric U. Dicker for the New York Post, December 31 (thanks to Ken):
ALBANY -- Hate crimes across New York state jumped 14 percent in 2009, led by an increase in attacks on Jews and Jewish institutions, state records released yesterday show.
There were 683 hate crimes reported to police authorities across the state in 2009 compared with 599 in 2008, according to a report released by the state Division of Criminal Justice Services. [...]
Anti-Semitic incidents, which made up 37 percent of the reported hate crimes, were up 15 percent in one year, from 219 in 2008 to 251 in 2009. [...]
Crimes motivated by anti-Muslim sentiment rose from eight to 11....

The Only Good Thing...
Dear Ms. Geller,
One good thing about the NYT article, it led me to your blog.
As a Jewish guy who lived in Israel for almost 5 years this blog is like the breeze off Lake Michigan in the morning(I live in Chicago's version of Long Island I guess Highland Park) it clears away the fog.
I had despaired of finding a person in the States who understood the situation. The analogy I like to use is that after Pearl Harbor did FDR get up there and say, We don't hate Japanese, there are certain people who happen to be Japanese that have attacked us but they are not all our enemies, just the bad ones. No, he had Congress declare war and the only acceptable outcome was Unconditional Surrender.
And nobody talked about discrimination, we certainly did not invite Japanese nationals and German Nazis to immigrate here during the war "for a better life". They were the enemy, full stop no question.
Today Islam is what the Nazis and Japanese were then.
To be fair, all countries and ideologies want to be top dog.
So, they are just doing their job.
However , as of now, we hold that spot and I see no reason to give it up without a fight.
Thank you for what you do.
Best Regards,
Name redacted

Mohammad Cartoon Day Inspires Death Threats
But Ms. Norris had no clue what she stepped into. After Norris's brilliant idea went viral online, she became so spooked and worried that she had offended Muslims that she apologized for it and divorced herself from the idea, refraining from participation. That didn't matter, it wasn't long before the "charismatic" imam to the devout Muslim world had placed the Seattle cartoonist on an execution hit list. The ummah reacted to the contest with the same open-mindedness, tolerance and modernity we have come to expect.
Nihad Awad, co-founder of Hamas-linked, unindicted co-conspirator, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR, was whining and deliberately inciting Gd knows what against me on O'Reilly for one of the cartoons I ran on "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day." Watch this.
That's how far down the rabbit hole the shining beacon of freedom has gone: no stick figures or any depictions of Muhammad without putting your life in jeopardy.
And what happened to our little Miss Norris? There is no "Molly Norris" anymore, not in Omerica.
The Washington Post, shill for jihadist and Islamic apologists nonparallel, is reporting:
Report: 'Draw Muhammad' cartoonist changes name, goes into hiding at FBI's insistence
Seattle Weekly announced today that it will no longer run Molly Norris's artwork. The newspaper is also reporting that legally, there is no more "Molly Norris."
Norris -- the Seattle-based illustrator whose cartoon sparked "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day!" earlier this year and a subsequent fatwa against her -- has gone into hiding and changed her name at the guidance of the FBI, reports the Seattle Weekly, which says:
"The gifted artist is alive and well, thankfully. But on the insistence of top security specialists at the FBI, she is, as they put it, 'going ghost': moving, changing her name, and essentially wiping away her identity. She will no longer be publishing cartoons in our paper or in City Arts magazine, where she has been a regular contributor."
Seattle Weekly also says that the artist likens the situation to cancer -- the threat could be benign, it could be more serious and sudden.
Comic Riffs last communicated with Norris in July. Attempts to contact her Wednesday were unsuccessful.
Several months ago, FBI officials alerted Norris to what they were treating as a "very serious threat," according to a report. At that time, Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki said that Norris was a "prime target" for execution and that her "proper abode is hellfire."
Awlaki, a New Mexico-born 39-year-old, has been called arguably the highest-profile English-speaking supporter of violent jihad. He has been linked to the recent Times Square bombing attempt and reportedly inspired Texas's Fort Hood massacre.
Norris drew her "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!" cartoon in April in response to Comedy Central's editing of its program "South Park" and the animated show's attempts to depict Muhammad -- and to satirize reactions to any effort to ridicule Muhammad.
On April 25, shortly after Norris created her "anti-censorship" cartoon, Comic Riffs broke the news that Norris was distancing herself from the illustration:
"I made a cartoon that went viral but [this campaign] isn't really my thing," Norris told Comic Riffs. "Other folks have taken it over."
Several months ago, Norris's April YouTube video of her explanation for the cartoon was "removed by the user." In that video, Norris apologized to "everyone of the Muslim faith who has or will be offended" by her cartoon and supported calling off "Everyone Draw Mohammed Day," which was staged May 20. She also urged America's Muslims and non-Muslims to come together -- to meet "halfway."

Jihad Death Threats and Security
Both Saturday and Sunday nights, this past weekend, Geraldo Rivera had on the vile Zead Ramadan of CAIR, who, yet again, made wild accusations as an incitement to violence against those who oppose the Islamic supremacist Ground Zero mosque and the sharia in America. Laura Ingraham, Bill O'Reilly, MSNBC, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and others have allowed these stealth jihadists to go on the air and gin up the jihadists by publicly accusing us of "leading the opposition to the Ground Zero mosque" -- which has resulted in a spike in death threats to me and my family.
These same media outlets (Geraldo, Matthews, Ingraham, O'Reilly, etc.) have not given me (or Spencer) the opportunity to defend ourselves and state our case against the lying jihadists, but have allowed these lies to stand unchallenged by enemies of the state.
I oppose the Muslim Brotherhood, their proxies, and Islamic supremacists like CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS, and MPAC, who are actively working to subvert the constitution and, as it is put in a Brotherhood internal captured document, work toward "eliminating and destroying western civilization from within" -- with millions contributed by the Saudis and the State department.
Why mainstream media would host these avowed enemies of the state is beyond reason.
It is now a steady stream of threats, intimidation and violent screeds.
I must increase my security. It is costly. I need your help. Badly. Please contribute something (anything!) to help me defray the costs of the new and significant expense. There is no money in what we do. Neither I nor SIOA or FDI has benefactors, donors, etc. We operate on a tattered shoestring budget, but we get it done.
We use every dime that good people send to buy buses (1oK a city), taxi tops (10K a city), stage rallies, etc. We need real money to stage the 911 rally against the Ground Zero mosque. If you wish your contribution to go a specific issue (ie Ground Zero rally, bus campaign, security...), just specify. The Ground Zero rally on September 11th is going to need your help. The security costs for the rally will be enormous. If you want to contribute to that specifically, go here: Stand with us on September 11.

Muslim Invades Day Care Center "Babies to Die"
What mosque does this pious Muslim attend?
Man accused of bringing weapon into Pasco day care Tampa Bay *hat tip slat via Dreamin'Demon
WESLEY CHAPEL — A 22-year-old man wandered into a day care Wednesday afternoon, screaming and ranting — and carrying a set of brass knuckles combined with a five-bladed knife, authorities said.
Ottis Ryan, 22, rang the doorbell of the Little Pioneers Daycare Center at 6631 Boyette Road about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Suspicious, daycare employee Susan Singletary dialed 911 as she retreated into the daycare. But Ryan followed her into the playroom.
"Don't listen to God. He is not real. Listen to Allah," he yelled at Singletary and other employees, according to Pasco County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll. "Don't feed those crying babies. Let them die. It is time."
As Singletary blocked the entrance to the infant room, she asked him what he was carrying in his bookbag, hoping to distract him until authorities arrived. Ryan pulled out a combination brass knuckles-knife weapon, Doll said.
By the time a deputy arrived, Ryan was on his knees, as if praying. "I am a supreme being, and I wanted to cleanse the babies," he told the deputy. "I am here through God."
The deputy arrested Ryan, of 30718 Clearview Drive in Wesley Chapel, and charged him with carrying a concealed weapon and armed trespass. He is being held at Land O'Lakes jail on $5,150 bail.

Palestinians Use Threats to Silence Peace Singers

The woman who sang for Israel at the last Eurovision Song Contest, has pulled out of the ZF Israel Independence Day Concert in London following death threats.
Mira Awad, is an Arab-Israeli and one half of a duo with Achinoam Nini, otherwise known as NOA, with whom she performs to sell-out internationally audiences, promoting a message of peace and co-existence.
The ZF who have organised annual Israel Independence Day events in Britain for years invited them to headline the show on April 19.
Ms Awad now has round-the-clock security at her home in Tel Aviv. Her family, who live in Kfar Rameh, a small Arab Village in the north of Israel, is also under close watch.
Her Manager, Ofer Pesenzon, said: “Mira and NOA’s message is about finding a peaceful way forward. It is tragic that when both sides try to come together by any means possible to build a better future for Israel and its citizens, there are those prepared to use violence and intimidation to destroy it.”
