Raped Muslim Girl 14 Lashed to Death for Adultery

Muslim Girl, 14, Lashed to Death for Alleged Adultery Jonathon M. Seidl, Blaze

* 14-year-old Hena Akhter was found guilty of adultery and sentenced to 101 public lashes under Shariah law.
* She died from being flogged — despite Shariah law being outlawed in Bangladesh — but doctors tried to cover that up.
* Her family claims she was raped by a cousin.
* Police are now investigating the incident.

Up until her last breath, young Hena Akhter declared her innocence. But that didn’t matter. The 14-year-old Bangladeshi Muslim girl was lashed to death, accused of adultery.

The imam at the local mosque said she was guilty of having an affair with a married man. Her family said she was raped. The imam disagreed. He ordered a fatwa: 101 public lashes. She lasted only 70.

CNN reports:

Bloodied and bruised, she was taken to hospital, where she died a week later.

Amazingly, an initial autopsy report cited no injuries and deemed her death a suicide. Hena’s family insisted her body be exhumed. They wanted the world to know what really happened to their daughter. [...]

Hena was the youngest of five children born to Darbesh Khan, a day laborer, and his wife, Aklima Begum. They shared a hut made from corrugated tin and decaying wood and led a simple life that was suddenly marred a year ago with the return of Hena’s cousin Mahbub Khan.

Mahbub Khan came back to Shariatpur from a stint working in Malaysia. His son was Hena’s age and the two were in seventh grade together.

Bill O'Reilly - Qaddafi Brutalities

I had to rub my eyes. Bill O'Reilly, patron of Muslim Brotherhood-tied CAIR, was covering a story of rape and brutality against a Muslim woman in Libya. Typical treatment of Muslim women living under Islamic law.

What was shocking was that O'Reilly had Wafa Sultan on to explain. I hardly watch O'Reilly, and I fell off my chair. I don't think he had a clue who she was. And did she school him. His responses were completely uninformed, but no matter, Wafa speaketh.

Wafa Sultan was born and raised in Syria. She is a medical doctor who trained as a psychiatrist in Syria, and is an American author and critic of Muslim society and Islam, having self-identified as a Muslim, but not religious. Her must-read book is A God Who Hates.

Gov Walker Agrees w Ahmadinejad: Death for Rape Victims

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker believes a woman who has been raped and will die in childbirth should not be allowed to live, even if an abortion would save her life.

That's right, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Political Fact "truth-o-meter" confirms that Walker "'wants to make abortion illegal, even in cases of rape, incest, or to protect the life of the mother.' Walker acknowledges that is his position."

When Walker was running for governor, his opponent charged that Walker would seek an abortion ban without exception. Walker's campaign confirmed to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that this would indeed make it illegal for victims of rape or incest or those whose lives were imperiled to end a pregnancy.

Walker's pro-death stance for women who will die giving birth - and his indifference to the horror of rape and incest - exhibits a cruelty that is chilling.

That is why it is no surprise that, buried in his infamous budget, is a direct assault on family planning and Planned Parenthood, in particular. The Cap Times (Madison) gets right to the point: "Walker's elimination of family planning funds could jeopardize federal dollars, close clinics."

But, if Walker is successful, this will be just the first step in the further victimization of women who have been sexually assaulted - and it will be a death sentence for women who will die from complications due to pregnancy.

Walker isn't only trying to kill unions.
