What this article and others like it don’t tell you is that we are witnessing one of those watershed moments in history: Ivory Coast is about to toggle from a (mostly) Christian country to a Muslim country. The winner of the election is a Muslim — the head of the Muslim rebel forces in the north of the country — and the loser is a non-Muslim. Ivory Coast is on the verge of officially joining the Ummah.
The report below cites the surge of illegal immigrants from Ivory Coast’s Muslim neighbors as the cause of Mr. Ouattara’s victory. However, Ivory Coast is already a member of the OIC, and as of the 2004 figures in my database, it had a population of 17,298,040, with 6,677,043 Muslims. That’s 38.6%, which is already past the point where you would expect the imposition of sharia. What is happening now is simply the formal handing-over of the keys.
Muslims do not need to be in the majority to force Islamic rule on a country. They simply need to be present in numbers sufficient to terrorize, threaten, bribe, and defraud their way into power. The exact percentage varies according to circumstances, but absent intervention from an external force, full Islamization can be expected by the time a country becomes 40% Muslim.

Arson Jihad in Israel
Coverup of Arab Arson Offensive Exposed

Israel’s police, fire brigades and press intentionally hushed up an Arab arson offensive that took place while fires raged on the Carmel last week, a reporter for Ma’ariv Hebrew daily claimes.
According to Kalman Libeskind, sources in the Police and within the Fire Commission said – in briefings that were not for attribution – that they decided not to spread the information about the arson “so as not to wake into action more potential terrorists.” The press became “willing accompices” in this hush-up effort.
Libeskind lists the locations of about 25 arson attacks that the fire brigades fought in the course of last week:
* In Kiryat Shemona
* In southern Golan
* Twice near Tzfat (Safed)
* Several times in a grove that separates Abu Ghosh and Kiryat Anavim near Jerusalem
* Twice in a grove near Tzur Hadassah
* At the Sansan Ridge near Moshav Mata
* Twice in the forest next to Kaukab
* Once in the grove near Tzur Shalom
* In the area next to Mitzpeh Adi
* In a lot near Ma’alot
* Near Kiryat Tiv’on
* Between Yokne’am and Bat Shlomo
* Near HaMovil Junction
* Near Moshav Hoshaya
* In Nazareth
* Three times in Iloot Forest
* Once in Jerusalem Forest
* Twice in the Forest of Peace in southern Jerusalem.
No less than eighteen acts of arson were recorded last month in the Forest of Peace, Libeskind notes.
“This is a true Intifadah [uprising - ed.] that had to be the top headline of any news report,” Libeskind wrote. “The media consumers need to know that the story they have been getting is not the true one. The reason is that the Israeli press treats the Arabs of Israel as if they were spoiled children. They can inflict pain, hurl rocks and torch property, but no matter what, journalistic press rooms will still act as if insulting the Arabs is not PC.”

The Daily Fabric of Our Social Life Has Changed

Nine years after 9/11, this is what things have come to.
While we are constantly being schooled in how insensitive we are to Muslims and how we should be bowing to the idea of a Ground Zero mega-mosque, or are being admonished for not embracing the Sharia, the state of wartime siege continues unabated. The Muslim world is under no such mandate to reach out or reciprocate. They only have to demand, and the West apologizes.
The war that no one will talk about for fear of reprisals blazes on. And when the brave actually do talk about it, they are relegated to the pile of racist-islamophobic-antimuslim-bigots. This schema defies reason.
The rise and resurrection of Islamic jihad, and its ensuing war on the west, rages on, thanks to the largest transfer of wealth in history from Western societies to petrol-rich Muslim nations and an incomprehensible, suicidal surrender of our once-exalted values system. Now the West chooses to Atfetal respect barbarism and eschew the decent and the good.
We live in a constant state of low-grade war. And with each new Muslim attack, we lose a right. We lose a freedom. We have to adhere to some new restriction or loss of privacy. You cannot enter a major building in New York City without being carded. (I am not sure what illegal aliens do. Perhaps they are given a free pass -- as in so many things.)
There are daily brutal, bloody attacks by Muslim supremacists across the world, and the major concern is not to discuss or insult Islam. The only accepted dialogue is dawah, Islamic supremacist-dictated terms of dialogue (in mosques, no less.
The general silence from the mainstream media and our governing officials on last weekend's wholesale slaughter of Christians praying in a Church is indicative of how decayed, empty, and morally inverted our leaders and media have become. The slaughter of the churchgoers in Baghdad was a crime against humanity. And there are thousands of stories of Islamic slaughter, but the lambs remain silent. Have we become so inured to Islamic jihad that human life is cheap to us as well?
We have relinquished our most basic human right -- free speech. The media self-censors; our political leaders self-censor and obey the Sharia rule of not insulting Islam. We are not permitted to identify the enemy; doing so is "hate speech." According to the Department of Defenseand media elites, the motivebehind the Fort Hood jihad remains a " mystery." Yet Major Hasan's proposed "insanity" defense is dashed by the "premassacre preperations," his business card, his dawah before jihad, and his Powerpoint presentation.
So crippled have our military and other branches of government become by this self-imposed Sharia (do not insult Islam!) that despite the staggering loss of U.S. soldiers, the chief concern of Army chief Casey in the bloody aftermath of the Fort Hood jihad was that "speculation could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers and what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here."
That was the concern.
Meanwhile, every aspect of the daily social fabric of our life has changed.

Somewhere Sam Hill is Smiling
Here's an update to yesterday's post on a vote that should be taken in towns across America. The whitewashing of Islam in history books and in Middle Eastern studies programs across college campuses in this country is part of the toxic leftist/Islamic propaganda campaign that our children's minds are marinating in.
The Texas State Board of Education voted Friday to reject any textbooks which whitewash Islam in and to curtail a "pro-Islam/anti-Christian" bias in school books.
Critics of new textbooks have called on the BoE to investigate and vote on several passages in new textbooks that they believe have a "pro-Islamic bias." According to Republican member of the Texas Board of Education Don McLeroy, the only reason why Islam is getting a favorable writing is because "Academia wants to lean over backwards to be politically correct and not be labeled ethnocentric, so it's kind of a cultural relativism."
The mainstream media vomiting.
The resolution adopted Friday cites "politically-correct whitewashes of Islamic culture and stigmas on Christian civilization" in current textbooks and warns that "more such discriminatory treatment of religion may occur as Middle Easterners buy into the US public school textbook oligopoly."
It vowed to reject any future textbooks which devote more space to teaching about Islam than Christianity, include "sanitized definitions of 'jihad,'" or display bias by describing Christian crusaders as "invaders" when Muslim "conquest" is called "migration" by "empire builders."
