Ground Zero Mosque: Washington Post Yearning for W
Pigs are flying. Note the date. The worst man who ever walked the planet is now pined for. The Washington Post is pining for Bush. Yearning. Whoopah!
Remember Bush Derangement Syndome? Now it's Bush Rearrangement Syndrome (aka Hamosque -thanks to Rush for that brilliant coinage- Madness). The left's Blame Bush for everything daily mantra gets kicked to the curb when his really big mistakes serve these dangerous shills. Check this out from the Washington Post. It is almost as bad their silly hit piece on me today:
Former president George W. Bush has shied away from political commentary since stepping down in 2009, and for understandable reasons. It's a sign of respect for the office of the presidency to allow one's successor to do his best without having to hear carping from his predecessor.
But this is a case where Mr. Bush's own party could benefit from a dose of adult supervision. As president, Mr. Bush never stopped making the distinction between Muslims and the terrorists who pervert their religion. As a politician, he understood the value to the Republican Party of reaching out to minorities, including Muslims. A word from Texas right now could offer his would-be heirs a useful lesson.
Does WaPo have a handle on how many thousands (perhaps millions) of Muslim clerics they just called perverted?
Why is WaPo so worked up to get a 15 story mega mosque built on the site of Ground Zero, in a building partially destroyed by the Islamic attack on that terrible, horrible day?
UPDATE: Atlas reader sent the following remark on the WaPo hit piece which I won't fisk because the Wild Boarstein was deliberately malicious and mendacious:
Here's a link for Atlas readers to contact her.
Her piece is beyond horrible. Truly, it's astonishing that these people are jobs in journalism. They feel no hesitation to speak about what they know nothing about. They're like adolescents frozen in time. Would that they didn't influence public opinion.
