Pajamas Media has Elise Cooper's excellent review of the AFDI documentary, Ground Zero Mosque, Second Wave of the 911 Attacks. For those of you in the Tampa/St. Pete area, we will be screening the film on Sunday at Muvico Baywalk (151 2nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, more here.) Spencer and I will be speaking and doing a Q&A after the film.

I will be screening the film this week at the University of Delaware and next week at the University of Ohio.

Must-See Film on Ground Zero Mosque Controversy hat tip Ruthfully yours

A 13-story mega-mosque is to be built in New York City approximately two blocks from the site of where the World Trade Center used to stand. Since Islamic extremists murdered 3000 people on September 11, 2001, Ground Zero is a cemetery and to many a sacred ground. Movie poster blog Because of the strong outcry against the mosque project, it has publicly morphed from a religious place of worship to a prayer center to a community center.

The Ground Zero Mosque: Second Wave of 9/11 Attacks powerfully starts by reminding Americans of the horrors of that day: clips of people jumping to their deaths as the World Trade Center became an inferno.

Geller strongly believes that “the 9/11 families took a hit for all Americans on that day when the Islamic extremists declared war on America.” She hopes viewers will be awakened as to why this mosque should never be built near Ground Zero, and to understand that if built, this mosque would be viewed by the jihadists as a triumph.

The movie intends to convey the magnitude of the jihadist threat. The landing gear from one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center was found in the Burlington Coat Factory building, where the mosque is to be built. A powerful statement from the movie: “Ground Zero becomes all about the mosque and no longer about the attack.” Geller wants Americans to understand: “[There] are thousands of mosques throughout the U.S. and hundreds of mosques in New York City. Why build it here?”

GZMosque Muslim Supremasists Sue Kuffars

With the sign and without the sign .......yeah, looks like 4.1 million dollars of damage (and it's Burlington's sign -- but it's not about that. It's about supremacy and contempt for the kuffar.)

Sharif El-Gamal and his Muslim Brotherhood-tied backers practically stole the $25 million dollar Burlington Coat Factory building for $4.7 million because the building was destroyed by the Muslim terrorists on September 11, 2001. Now they are suing the previous owners for the 4 million dollars (basically what they paid) because they removed their signs. Aren't you supposed to remove your signage when you sell a building? And what decent American business would want its name on the triumphal mosque at Ground Zero?

This is so stupefyingly disgusting. Leave it to the stealth jihadists to show us new lows in human behavior.

Pigs will be pigs, halal or not. The Islamic supremacists behind the Ground Zero mosque will make sure that the kuffar pay for the building of their triumphal mosque at Ground Zero. And then the US taxpaying kuffar will fund the building of the mosque from -- get this -- the 911 redevelopment fund.

You can't make this stuff up.

Suit over Burlington 'damage' to GZ mosque site By DAREH GREGORIAN

The Burlington Coat Factory was in such a hurry to distance itself from a former storefront that’s now a highly controversial proposed mosque near Ground Zero that it severely damaged the building when it ripped its old signs off, the property owners charge.


In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, 45 Park Place Partners and 51 Park Place LH LLC say the chain’s “animus and hostility to the inclusion of the mosque in the development plans of the building” resulted in the company “illegally and forcefully” removing its massive signs, destroying the owners’ property and causing them “economic injury.”

The suit seeks a total of $4.1 million in damages.

A rep for Burlington Coat Factory declined comment.

The store had been located inside 45 Park Place until its lease was terminated in 2008.

“Throughout Burlington’s tenancy, and . . . for years before, affixed to the building were two large signs,” one that was 129 square feet, and another that was 32 square feet, the suit says. The signs were bolted and permanently attached to the building, and provided “plaintiffs a valuable asset which increased the value of the premises and provided rental income from advertising on the sign.”

The Burlington Coat Factory signs provided a valuable asset? What contempt the supremacists have for the dhimmis.

In late 2009, the new owners announced plans to build a community center on the site which would include a mosque, and by last May, the site had become “the focus of intense media attention” and the “subject of controversial protests” because of its “perceived proximity” to Ground Zero, the suit said.

That’s when Burlington apparently decided to distance itself from the project by tearing the signs down, even though it was “without any authority to do so,” and “did not have valid municipal permits to undertake any activities at the building.”

The suit seeks restitution for the physical damage to the building, as well as punitive damages for the company’s “wanton and willful trespass.”

PARK 51 Group Exploits 911 Victim Grief

the 911 families who spoke out: Members of "9/11 Parents and Families of Firefighters and WTC Victims" and " Advocates for a 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial" are shocked and appalled that a play, Performing Tribute which is closely identified and aligned with the "September 11th Families' Association Tribute WTC Visitor Center" is now being promoted and presented by Daisy Kahn. The play will be performed at an Interfaith Center located at the address of the Cordoba Initiative & ASMA offices, 475 Riverside Drive, NYC, on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 6:30PM.

Ms. Kahn and The Cordoba Initiative are the driving force behind the renamed "Park 51" cultural center and mosque project which has been the focus of great consternation and grief for many 9/11 family members. Uniformed and civilian family members have asked Cordoba for tolerance, understanding and sensitivity to the feelings of the majority of families who are deeply offended by the thought of a mosque and cultural center at this site. FDNY, NYPD and civilian family members have joined thousands of others to demonstrate against building this structure so close to the sacred ground of the WTC site.

Our family members will not allow the memory of the lives and deaths of their loved ones to be used as a tool for the Cordoba Initiative. To use this play to imply a "dialogue with 9/11 families" as a basis for obtaining funding from the LMDC and other sources across the country for an Islamic center at GZ, is a disingenuous travesty.

The vast majority of 9/11 family members oppose this building. We will continue to speak out to oppose the co opting of the narrative of 9/11 by self serving individuals and groups. We will not allow the story of 9/11 and the lives and deaths of our loved ones to be hijacked for the shameless self promotion of those individuals and groups whose goal is to build an Islamic center and mosque near the sacred ground.

The memory of our loved ones, who lived and died for this country on 9/11, deserves nothing less.

If the people of Iran took to the sreeets today, would Obama ignore it, and would the media report on it? Tens of thousands of protesters take to the streets again in Egypt, millions took to the streets in Iran. Brutal Islamic dictators. Obama say, "Respect it!"

I cannot understate the importance of Egypt to American interests and Israeli security. Egypt is arguably the second most important country to the US in the region.

Egypt is a secular government. The objective for all freedom-loving peoples in the world should be a transition to a new secular government. Will those elements in the protest movement be able to stave off Islamic supremacists? Iranian imperialism? I think not.

Iran has its hooves all over this.

ElBaradei is in league with Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. His ruse must be exposed. Why was he allowed into Egypt?

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak named a vice president for the first time in his presidency. Mubarak named Omar Suleiman, his intelligence chief, who has led major foreign policy initiatives in Egypt, such as the Israeli/Gazastan peace process. Will this appointment take?

Israel gets hundreds out of Egypt:

JERUSALEM – Israel's national airline has whisked some 200 Israelis, including families of Israeli diplomats, out of Egypt on board an emergency flight to escape the chaos engulfing the Arab country.

An Israeli official said Saturday's flight included dozens of tourists as well as diplomat's families.

A Cairo airport official confirmed that El Al arranged the special flight. El Al does not usually fly on the Jewish sabbath to appease observant Jewish passengers who do not travel on the day of rest

The flight reflects Israel's concerns over the situation in Egypt — the first Arab country to reach peace with Israel.

Despite the fact that both she and radical Rauf have been fired from the Ground Zero victory mosque project, they refuse to go, so addicted to the limelight are they. The media adores them for this one thing -- a Ground Zero Islamic supremacist mosque, and Daisy loves the love of the dhimmedia right back. "We can’t step down from our very own creation. We are the vision behind it.” Uh, you've been fired.

I think she comes off quite horribly, quite deceptive, quite transparent and narcissitic here -- breathing in the putrid air of her own bubble.

UPDATE: Just as our profile of activist Daisy Khan, the woman behind the so-called ground zero mosque, was about to hit the newsstands, the controversy took another turn. On January 14, in what the New York Times described as a rift among the players behind the proposed Islamic community center, the project’s developer announced the appointment of a different imam—not Khan’s husband, the imam Feisal Abdul Rauf—as the center’s senior advisor (Rauf is still on the board). The developer, Sharif el-Gamal, also said the couple would no longer “be speaking on behalf of Park51, nor will they be raising funds for the project.”

This change in the imam’s status came as a complete surprise to Khan, who says the couple was not told about it in private or in advance; she says they only learned of it when reporters began to call. And she insists that the couple’s plan for a large, interfaith, Muslim-run community center near ground zero “will still be realized.”

Gov [NJ] Chris Chistie in Bed with Hamas

Governor Christie's Dirty Islamist Ties
New Jersey, the Garden State, has just taken its first step toward becoming the Sharia State, with Governor Christie's nomination of Sohail Mohammed, an attorney to detained terrorist suspects, to a Superior Court judgeship in Passaic County. The Sohail nomination continues Christie's unfortunate pandering to the American Muslim Union and the Islamic Center of Passaic County.

Passaic County has the second largest Muslim population in the country. And the Islamic Center of Passaic County is the state's largest mosque, and it's the only one run by an an Imam who was a member of the Hamas terrorist organization. But when the United States government attempted to deport Mohammed Qatanani, New Jersey's pols and wannabe pols like Christie, quickly came to his aid. Despite the fact that Mohammed Qatanani was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that is behind both Al Qaeda and Hamas, despite his own guilty plea to being a member of Hamas, and despite the fact that even in the United States, he had defended a charity that provided funds to children of suicide bombers (this is done as an incentive to reassure terrorists that if they die their families will be taken care of), Qatanani was not deported.

This is less a sign of his innocence, then of the power and influence wielded by Qatanani and the American Muslim Union. There was hardly a top New Jersey public official who did not come out for Qatanani. And that included both of the major candidates in the governor's race, Governor Jon Corzine and Chris Christie. Christie called Qatanani, "a man of great goodwill" and "a constructive force" and allowed Charles McKenna, one of his associate attorneys to testify on behalf of Qatanani. Afterward Christie tapped McKenna to head New Jersey's Department of Homeland Security. McKenna had spent a good deal of time on Muslim "outreach" and made numerous statements echoing their talking points.

The pioneering terrorism researcher, Steve Emerson called it, "a disgrace and an act of pure political corruption". He stated, "I know for certain that Christie and the FBI SAC had access to information about Qatanani’s background, involvement with and support of Hamas." Defending Qatanani required Christie to pit himself against the Department of Homeland Security, which wanted him deported. But the Department of Homeland Security wasn't running for office in New Jersey. Christie was.

The first Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, Mohammad El-Mezain, was convicted of funneling money to Hamas. El-Mezain had actually boasted of raising almost 2 million dollars for Hamas. And his replacement, Qatanani, actually was a member of Hamas. An ordinary politician might have been forgiven for not knowing this, but Christie was the US Attorney for New Jersey. It's absolutely impossible that he would not have known the background of the Islamic Center of Passaic County. Yet Christie attended a Ramadan dinner, in the same place where terrorists had fundraised, and kissed Qatanani on the cheek.

Now Christie has nominated Sohail Mohammed, Qatanan's former lawyer, to a Superior Court judgeship. Sohail Mohammed is a board member of the American Muslim Union, an organization that has interlocking leadership with groups that have fundraised for Hamas and hosted a Hamas speaker. The American Muslim Union is closely interlinked with Qatanani's Islamic Center of Passaic County.

When five Muslims were convicted of plotting to murder US soldiers at New Jersey's Fort Dix, American Muslim Union president, Mohamad Younes, came out in their defense. When El-Mezain, the original Imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, was convicted, Younes claimed that he had only been convicted because he was a Muslim. The ICPC and the AMU shared five members in their leadership, which essentially makes them one and the same. Nominating an AMU board member is an indirect payoff to the Islamic Center of Passaic County's own leadership... and to Mohammed Qatanani.

Sohail Mohammed defended suspected terrorist detainees and was the go-to man for local and national media looking for a good quote. He lobbied against the use of both 'Islamic' in descriptions of Islamic terrorists, condemned the television show 24 for depicting Muslim terrorists and made an appearance outside the Qatanani trial. After the massacre of a Coptic Christian family, Sohail Mohammed tried to have some Copts investigated for opposing Muslim attendance at their funeral. And most importantly, Sohail Mohammed was Qatanani's original lawyer when the government began its case against him.

So after helping Mohammed Qatanani escape deportation, Christie then nominated his lawyer to a Superior Court judgeship. Sohail is the second Muslim Superior Court judge in New Jersey after Hany Mawla. And if you want a preview of New Jersey's future, you can see it in Judge Hany Mawla conducting the swearing in ceremony for Mayor Mohamed T. Khairullah in Passaic County's Prospect Park borough. And the opening prayer for the event is delivered by none other than Imam Qatanani, leading a prayer in the name of Allah.

There's still an American flag in place and the pledge of allegiance is recited, but those are symbols masking the hijacking taking place underneath the red, white and blue.

There have been setbacks. The Democratic party had to dump Sami Merhi, when some of his comments sympathetic to terrorists came to light. But his friend Mohamed T. Khairullah made it through. A critical flyer mailed out to local households was described as a hate crime and exploited by the media for the sympathy vote. Corzine and the local Democratic machine moved Hawla from a civil rights commissioner to a superior court judge. They put Sohail Mohammed on the same track. Christie could have stood up to the Democratic machine, but instead he sucked up to Passaic's Islamists, first by aiding Qatanani and then by nominating his lawyer to a Superior Court Judgeship.

Some might compare the situation in Passaic County to France with its "no go zones" where the local authorities and non-Muslims cannot enter, but it's actually a good deal worse. The government and the judiciary is being taken over, small pieces of Muslim ruled territory are being carved out and expanded with the support of the state's leading politicians, who trade political support and campaign contributions for something dangerously close to treason. It's not just New Jersey. America is being carved up this way, piece by piece. The areas with the highest Muslim population like Illinois, Michigan and New Jersey are ground zero for the Islamist hijacking of America, using front groups, media friendly spokesmen, lawyers, leadership training and the slow climb up the ladder.

If you wondered why Governor Christie intervened in the Ground Zero Mosque issue or why a New Jersey state employee who participated in a protest against the mosque by burning a few pages from the Koran, lost his job-- you were only seeing the tip of a very large iceberg. In Muslim heavy states such as New Jersey, politicians and law enforcement have been largely suborned. In their attempt to co-opt Muslims, they instead have been co-opted by them. Who is really working for whom? Decide for yourself.

Salon Demonizes the anti-GZMosque Groups

Check out Salon's pitiful attempt at snark (heh) at the Ground Zero Mosque protest. They are choking on their own bile.

The imagery of our poster (thanks to Big Fur Hat) confounds them because they do not see the hypocrisy of the Mosque going up with a 29-1 vote (including the nine abstentions), while Wal-Mart has to beg on bended knee and prove that they aren't dangerous and detrimental to NYC. We are protesting the hypocrisy and we will be there February 3rd.

The imagery means -- if Wal-Mart were Muslims, NYC would welcome them with open arms.

One clown in the comment section didn't even know the winking smiley face is Wal-Mart's logo.

Anti-Islam Blogger to hold pro-Wal-Mart Rally Salon

Obsessive anti-Islam blogger Pamela Geller is having another New York rally in support of bigotry and insanity. This time, though, there's a twist: She is still protesting the imaginary "ground zero mosque," but she also wants everyone to know that she's in favor of Wal-Mart.

The giant retail chain that has successfully held the lead in America's race to the bottom would like to expand into New York City. The City Council is against the idea. Geller, obviously, supports Wal-Mart, because liberals dislike Wal-Mart, and liberals love Muslims, and Muslims hate America, and so therefore Wal-Mart is good and loves America.

The beautiful thing about her little flier is how confusing and incoherent it is. It is anti-mosque, and pro-Wal-Mart, but the Wal-Mart happy face is wearing a veil, and there is an Islamic crescent in place of the style guide-confounding hyphen?

Also, Geller is the lady who decided to loudly boycott Dunkin' Donuts because it had an ad in which spokesperson Rachael Ray wore a scarf that resembled a keffiyeh. Surely Wal-Mart has sold something with a crescent on it at some point. Look, you can buy a Quran for $5! And there's even a Spanish version, for illegal immigrant terror anchor babies!

(Oh, wait, Geller already got mad at Wal-Mart for something Muslim-related in 2009, because she is impossible to parody. But it wasn't really their fault, because they were sued by CAIR, so she has forgiven them.)

New York is expected to get a foot of snow tonight, which should make for a really fun protest of a City Council hearing that has already been postponed.

What this loser fails to grasp is ......... everything. We are protesting the hypocrisy. Bending over for a radical building a mega mosque at Ground Zero is this desirable position. But jobs, low prices and the overwhelming majority of New Yorkers begging for Wal-Mart -- that is bad.

The government should keep its big nose and its big ass out of both of these issues. If they stop Wal-Mart, stop the Cordoba mosque. Here's a Wal-Mart cheat sheet.

he City Council's much-anticipated hearing Wednesday on the impact of Walmart's expected entry into New York looms more as a pep rally for opponents than a sincere fact-finding inquiry.

Scheduled to testify are a professor who has concluded that Walmart puts small retailers out of business; the local union leader who has led the fight against Walmart, as well as the government affairs specialist at the grocery chain that employs his members; plus a series of community activists closely allied with labor.

Given the affair's presumed one-sided nature, Walmart is unlikely to send anyone, nor are its supporters willing to participate. So if members are interested in a fair hearing, here is a sample of questions they need to ask opponents. If they don't, the council, not Walmart, will get a black eye.

How does Walmart differ from its competitors, including Target, Kohl's, Toys “R” Us and BJ's—to name only some of the superstores that have marched into the city without opposition?

The council should find out if these chains are unionized, if they pay higher wages than Walmart and if their employee benefits are better.

Much has been made of the argument that Walmart forces out neighborhood stores. How will Walmart manage to do that when its competitors haven't? And do employees at mom-and-pop operations fare better than they would working at Walmart?

The self-styled defenders of small business should be asked if they know what kind of wages small shops pay—and especially whether they offer health benefits.

How will consumers benefit by keeping Walmart out of New York?

A related exercise for representatives of the Red Apple supermarket group would be to explain how its prices and selection compare with Walmart's.

Why do opponents think so many New Yorkers go out of their way to shop and work at Walmart?

Its suburban stores do about $165 million annually in credit card sales from city residents. The Valley Stream store, a stone's throw from the Queens border, is the No. 1 location in the country for shipments ordered on Walmart.com and picked up locally; and 1,400 city residents are Walmart employees.

Finally, and most fundamentally, on what legal basis would the City Council bar just Walmart from the city?

The federal courts might have a lot to say on this issue.

Opponents think they're putting Walmart on trial Wednesday. Actually, the council will be in the dock.

St Nicholas Church Must Sue to Rebuild

While Mayor Bloomberg wets himself in anxious haste to build the offensive Ground Zero mosque, the iconic St. Nicholas Greek Church, built in 1916 and destroyed by the destruction of the World Trade towers by Muslim terrorists, remains vanquished, unable to rebuild. Bloomberg is lobbying for 911 taxpayer funds for Islamic supremacist grifters behind the Ground Zero mosque, but the St. Nicholas church is in purgatory, ten years after the worst day in modern American history.

FOX Business: Pamela Geller, Ground Zero Mosque Taxpayer Funding

Last night I appeared on Eric Bolling's Follow the Money, to debate the latest Islamic attack on the American people in the second wave of the Ground Zero mosque controversy. The Islamic supremacists behind the Ground Zero mega mosque applied for $5 million in federal grant money that has been set aside for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan after the attacks of September 11th.

The $5 million Islamic supremacist request represents nearly one-third of all the $17 million that is now available. 265 groups have applied for the funding.

Note the morphing mosque narrative. For months Imam Rauf and his gang have been whining that the building destroyed in the attacks of 911 was not close to Ground Zero, but now they want to be included in the ground zero area’s geography.

Watch as I debate a loud but ignorant mob of flapping tongues. Ill-informed and delusional hardly describes these tools. Note how the "reverend" starts grunting whenever I say something that might teach people something.

In today's piece on taxpayer funding of the Ground Zero mosque, the above picture tells the whole story. They had to watch the whole video of my remarks to the community board #1 meeting to grab this deliberate screenshot while running a -- is that a publicity shot for the LMDC board chair and GZM tool Julie Menin? (I don't even have a publicity shot.) Menin's husband is Bruce Menin, president and principal of Crescent Heights Investments, a national real estate development company. The real estate aspect is key here for LMDC chair Menin.

The Menins are a pair of tools in Bloomberg's toolbox -- check this out. Cozy, no?

GZMosque Applies to HUD for $5 Millions Grant

But the project likely doesn’t quality for a grant in the first place. Specifically, the grant criteria mandate a demonstration of a project’s financial feasibility, based on benchmarks set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The government will help complete development projects—but it does not provide seed capital. And in their last public financial statement, Park51 was found to have less than $20,000 in the bank for a project with a slated cost of $100 million.

"Any solicitation for LMDC funds would have to meet the HUD criteria for eligibility," explains Julie Menin, an LMDC board member and the Chairperson of New York’s Community Board 1, which includes the World Trade Center site.

It will be interesting to see how the LMDC deals with the appropriateness of this application, especially given its stated commitment to “an open, inclusive, and transparent planning process in which the public has a central role in shaping the future of Lower Manhattan.” After all, among its advisory councils are representatives of the victim’s families, who are unlikely to be sympathetic to the subject.

President Obama came under fire this fall for alternately asserting the mosque's right to exist and then subsequently questioning the wisdom of the project. He was essentially right, and this new chapter in the Park51 saga shows that wisdom is the essential component missing from this development.

In the end, Park51’s application is likely to be unsuccessful financially while mobilizing a new round of opposition. It’s a lose-lose proposition put forward by a tone-deaf organization that seems determined to alienate allies and embolden opponents.

Celeb Imam Goes into Receivorship

UNION CITY - After months of Union City vying for custodial receivership of Imam Feisal Rauf’s property on Central Avenue, Superior Court Judge Olivieri, in a teleconference Nov. 9 with Union City’s attorney and Rauf’s attorney, has granted receivership with “restrictions” to custodial receiver Raymond Bulin, according to Union City spokesman Mark Albiez.

Rauf is the Muslim cleric at the center of the controversy over the proposal to build an Islamic cultural center and mosque near the former World Trade Center site.

The teleconference was the next step after Olivieri received the city’s final inspection report Oct. 22 based upon a final inspection by the city Oct. 21 that revealed fire, building, and health code violations remained at 2206 Central Ave. In the report, the city again called for receivership on the basis of continued failure to remedy violations by the specified deadlines.

Bulin has not been granted full management of the building, but has been tasked with abating the remaining violations, such as uncapped sewer lines and bedbug infestation. A $7,000 check, money from October rent payments held in escrow from Rauf’s attorney, will pay for the repairs.

Mayor Bloomberg and Feisal Abdul Rauf, the imam behind the hugely controversial Ground Zero mosque, were all smiles last night as they posed with lefty blogger Arianna Huffington, who anointed them both "Game Changers."

They were among the guests Huffington hosted at the Skylight Studio in SoHo at her party honoring "100 innovators, visionaries and leaders."

If one picture is worth a thousand words, this one -- the first of the three of them together -- raises at least as many questions.

Reporters were kept far away from the guests, so no one knows what Bloomberg, the imam and the blogger may have whispered about.

But the mayor has long been one of the biggest supporters of the imam's mosque, despite the fact that a great many of his constituents -- and the vast majority of the nation -- are vehemently opposed, and there's no evidence to think that either he or Rauf changed their games when it came to that. Bloomberg did not mention the mosque in his speech, his reps said. He was invited to speak about gun control -- and that's all he talked about in his public presentation.

The New York Times on Sunday published a big profile of Pamela Geller, the blogger and anti-Islam activist whose work we have documented, particularly her role creating the “ground zero mosque” controversy out of thin air.

Elliott here is doing what many in the mainstream media have tried to do: blame the entire controversy over the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero on Pamela Geller, then work to marginalize and discredit Pamela Geller, and viola! No more opposition to the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero. This tactic manifests their arrogance and disdain for the American people, 70% of whom oppose the mosque; Elliott and his ilk want you to believe that this opposition doesn’t arise from genuine indignation at the calculated insult and declaration of Islamic supremacism that the mosque represents, but that it has been ginned up by manipulative “right wingers.”

'Healing' Imam Rauf Sues First Responder for Bigotry

More of radical Imam Rauf's special brand of "healing and outreach." Vincent Forras spoke at our June 6th Rally against the Ground Zero mega mosque here and here. Forras was one of the first firefighters who answered the call on the day of the bloodiest, most heinous attack ever on American soil by Muslim terrorists. Forras was buried under the rubble for hours.

Imam Rauf's book title, remember, was "A Call to Prayer from the World Trade Center Rubble: Islamic Dawa in the Heart of post 9/11 America." Proselytizing from the rubble of human remains, got that?

Forras survived to live another day and fight, but Imam Rauf has other plans for this great American hero. The healing outreach program of radical Rauf is suing Forras for, get this, bigotry. How rich, coming from an Islamic supremacist. Rauf is taking a page from his close advisers at the Muslim Brotherhood front, Hamas-linked CAIR. Pure evil.

The "silver lining" (if one could call it that) of the Ground Zero triumphal mosque is that it is unmasking the "moderates."

Anti-mosque lawsuit slammed as bigotry NY Post

The developers behind the proposed mosque and cultural center near Ground Zero are blasting a $350 million lawsuit filed by a 9/11 first responder as "blind bigotry."

Vincent Forras, a former volunteer firefighter from Westchester, has sued Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and Park51 -- the complex that includes the mosque -- charging that they're fronts for "interests tied to terrorism."

Forras says he deserves to be compensated for the "psychological terrorism" and emotional distress he suffered when he learned of the mosque plans.
He calls the development a "monument to the jihadists' victory over American ideals of freedom and democracy, [and] a desecration of the terrible sacrifice made by those innocents attacked."

He also is seeking class-action status for the suit.

In a countersuit, Rauf and Park51 seek to dismiss the filing as a publicity stunt motivated by "blind bigotry."

They are also seeking $50,000 in damages and lawyers' fees.

The attorney representing the developers, Adam Leitman Bailey, is seeking to have Foras' lawsuit dismissed based on the constitutional right to freedom of religion.

Star of David Denigrated by Ground Zero Mosque Design

Granted that the hexagram (six-pointed star) has been anciently used to decorate churches, mosques and Hindu temples long before it was adopted by the Jewish people as a symbol of their identity, Zionism and the State of Israel the fact is that using it so blatently in the atrocious "futuristic" design of the controversial supremacist mosque is in very poor taste and adds to its extreme offensiveness and insensitivity. Given the fact of Imam Rauf's support for Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamo-Nazi regime of Iran; given his denial of Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, and that he wants it destroyed with its Jewish population living as an oppressed and powerless minority in a larger Arab state (which he predicts will happen in his lifetime); given all this compounds the mosque's image as a hostile, subversive anti-Western enterprise whose ugly design reflects its evil nature.

LEFTISBEST who agrees with Hazzi and simply repeats what he says about the universality of hexagrams "dares" me or anyone to "point at Park51 and say that it's a Moslem mosque." I dare say that it's currently being used as a mosque offering Moslem prayer services to believers. And that if the monstrosity is ever built it will continue to function as a mosque with the addition of a cultural center for cultivating stealth jihadists.

As for Lucinder's mystical interpretation of the hexagram as signifying what Hindu's call the "heart chakra" and that it symbolizes Rauf's "Sufi compassion" I have this to say: the real Rauf is a fundamentalist with a radical Moslem heart focused on the triumph of Sharia Islam over America, the West and the world. In fact, Rauf is an Islamic supremacist with no more heart for interfaith dialogue and liberal reform than Osama bin Ladin. But unlike bin Ladin he plays the New Age, ecumenical, multicultural game of religious unity and one worldism with the Left, while believing that Islam is God's answer to unifying humanity in peace.



Now as for Lucinder's enthusiam for Deepak Chopra's fictional account of the prophet Mohammed's life why would I want to read a book that humanizes him? What is it about the historical Mohammed that he needs Chopra to humanize him? Answer: he was an unconscionable, merciless inhuman killing machine for Islam twisted by his lust for power, wealth and women. Chopra can humanize and idealize and, like his friend Karen Armstrong, sanitize Mohammed all he wants but it can't change the horrible truth about his life of injustice and crime for gain and immortal glory. It can't change the truth about the terribly destructive forces he unleashed on the world that's still with us today. The reform of Islam needs more than a fictionalized account of Mohammed's life; it needs the complete rejection and denunciation of his injustices, atrocities and crimes.

It is interesting to read the mosquestream media's take on the offensive and obvious design of the Ground Zero mega mosque. Even the -- get this -- "less polemically-minded critics" see the obvious Stars of David and Crosses and excuse them this way: "the structure's Star of David echo is one among several design elements crafted consciously in 'homage to other religions.'"

And a Cordoba House spokesman said through Twitter that "the hexagons aren't intended as any sort of reference to the Star of David, but rather come from an Arabic architecture technique called Mashrabiya." So now the Star of David is an Islamic design. I think I am going to puke.

As an American, I respectfully request that the Imam Rauf, Daisy Khan (wife #3), and Sharif El-Gamal remove the Pentagons from the building exterior. It is a horror. As a Jew, I am deeply offended and insulted at their insensitivity and lack of respect and understanding, in using Jewish stars in the building design of the Ground Zero mega mosque. More on my take here -- "diabolically audacious."

The developer behind the controversial Park51 Islamic cultural center has released the first official renderings of what the 16-story building will look like when built. The Islamic Center will have a sleek, modern design, and will be covered in hexagonal shapes that resemble a honeycomb.

However, as has been the case throughout the controversy surrounding the project, critics are finding other messages in the design plans. Conservative blogger Pam Geller, a leading foe of the project, has denounced the honeycomb design as a representation of "crashing Stars of David," and described the design plan as "diabolically audacious."

Other, less polemically-minded critics have interpreted the conceptual plans as a statement on the project's broader interfaith message. Ed Pilkington, a writer for the UK Guardian, contends the structure's Star of David echo is one among several design elements crafted consciously in "homage to other religions"; the overall effect of the drawings, he argues, is to render Park51 "decidedly upbeat and galmorous [sic] building, more festive than threatening." Meanwhile, a Park51 spokesman said through Twitter that the hexagons aren't intended as any sort of reference to the Star of David, but rather come from an Arabic architecture technique called Mashrabiya.
