Hamas Terrorism against Christians in Gaza

Is Europe still Christian enough to reject dealing with Hamas because of the type of behavior in the video above? I have my doubts.

Job Statistics for EU Arabs are Scarce

Employment in the Arab Mediterranean countries is a major challenge for the region – and for Europe – in the next 10 to 15 years, calling for immediate action before permanent damage is caused to development prospects in the region. This is the main conclusion of a paper produced by the EC’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs.

The study, which analyses the key labour market determinants of migration flows from selected Arab Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and the Occupied Palestinian Territories), says public policies in the countries are ill equipped to face the challenge. Labour migration remains a key feature of the labour markets in these countries – yet cannot by itself solve the labour market challenges there.

The study makes a number of recommendations including: upgrading the statistics available and conducting further in-depth analysis; upgrading education and training systems; mainstreaming the policy goal of job creation and higher productivity; promoting active labour market policies; creating incentives to hire new graduates and women; creating incentives to transform informal into formal employment; and establishing social protection systems guaranteeing universal coverage, with the emphasis on worker rather than job protection.

It also recommends that the EU upgrade its existing framework for migration from Arab Mediterranean countries, not only as a unilateral strategy, but as a cooperative framework for true co-development. (ENPI Info Centre)

Gaddafi Demands Billions to Halt Immigration to Europe

Muammar Gaddafi Demands Billions in Jiyza or else "Europe Will be Swamped By Muslims"

Blackmail or jizya? Same thing.

Muammar Gaddafi has demanded that the European Union give him more than £4 billion to fight illegal immigration, or else Europe will turn "black" and be swamped by Muslims. Uh, Islam is not a race, Moe Moe.

Hell of a way to talk about your own people ............ who knew Gaddafi was a racist-islamo-phobic-anti-muslim-bigot? Does CAIR know?

Gaddafi demands £4 billion from EU or Europe will turn 'black' Telegraph

Muammar Gaddafi has demanded that the European Union give him more than £4 billion to fight illegal immigration or else Europe will turn "black" and be swamped by Muslims.

During an EU-Africa summit, that ended on Tuesday in Tripoli, the Libyan leader described European's economic relationship with the African continent as a "failure".

Unless "Christian, white" countries gave him extra funding, Colonel Gaddafi predicted that Europe would be flooded with illegal immigrants leaving impoverished Africa.

"We should stop this illegal immigration. If we don't, Europe will become black, it will be overcome by people with different religions, it will change," he said.

Iran Starts to Feel the Heat

Iran Starts To Feel Heat

"They (the United States and Israel) have decided to attack at least two countries in the region in the next three months."
-- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, July 26

WASHINGTON -- President Ahmadinejad has a penchant for the somewhat loony, as when last weekend he denounced Paul the Octopus, omniscient predictor of eight consecutive World Cup matches, as a symbol of decadence and purveyor of "Western propaganda and superstition."

But for all his clownishness, Ahmadinejad is nonetheless calculating and dangerous. What "two countries" was he talking about? They seem logically to be Lebanon and Syria. Hezbollah in Lebanon has armed itself with 50,000 rockets and made clear that it is in a position to start a war at any time. Fighting on this scale would immediately bring in Syria, which would in turn invite Iranian intervention in defense of its major Arab clients -- and of the first Persian beachhead on the Mediterranean in 1,400 years.

The idea that Israel, let alone the U.S., has the slightest interest in starting a war on Israel's north is crazy. But claims about imminent attacks are serious business in that region. In May 1967, the Soviet Union falsely told its client, Egypt, that Israel was preparing to attack Syria. These rumors set off a train of events -- the mobilization of Arab armies, the southern blockade of Israel, the hasty signing of an inter-Arab military pact -- that led to the Six-Day War.

Ahmadinejad's claim is not supported by a shred of evidence. So what is he up to?

It is a sign that he is under serious pressure. Passage of weak U.N. sanctions was followed by unilateral sanctions by the United States, Canada, Australia and the European Union. Already, reports Reuters, Iran is experiencing a sharp drop in gasoline imports as Lloyd's of London refuses to insure the ships delivering them.

Second, the Arab states are no longer just whispering their desire for the U.S. to militarily take out Iranian nuclear facilities. The United Arab Emirates' ambassador to Washington said so openly at a conference three weeks ago.

Shortly before the 1991 Gulf War, Pat Buchanan charged that "the only two groups" that wanted the U.S. to forcibly liberate Kuwait were "the Israeli Defense Ministry and its amen corner in the United States." That was a stupid charge, contradicted by the fact that George H.W. Bush went to war leading more than 30 nations, including the largest U.S.-led coalition of Arab states ever assembled.

Twenty years later, the libel returns in the form of the scurrilous suggestion that the only ones who want the U.S. to attack Iran's nuclear facilities are Israel and its American supporters. The UAE ambassador is, as far as ascertainable, neither Israeli, American nor Jewish. His publicly expressed desire for an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities speaks for the intense Arab fear approaching panic, of Iran's nuclear program and the urgent hope that the U.S. will take it out.

Third, and perhaps even more troubling from Tehran's point of view, are developments in the U.S. Former NSA and CIA Director Michael Hayden suggested last Sunday that over time, in his view, a military strike is looking increasingly favorable compared to the alternatives. Hayden is no Obama insider, but Time reports ("An Attack on Iran: Back on the Table," July 15) that high administration officials are once again considering the military option. This may reflect a new sense of urgency or merely be a bluff to make Tehran more pliable. But in either case, it suggests that after 18 months of failed engagement, the administration is hardening its line.

The hardening is already having its effect. The Iranian regime is beginning to realize that even President Obama's patience is limited -- and that Iran may actually face a reckoning for its nuclear defiance.

All this pressure would be enough to rattle a regime already unsteady and shorn of domestic legitimacy. Hence Ahmadinejad's otherwise inscrutable warning about an Israeli attack on two countries. (Said Defense Minister Ehud Barak to Fox News: "Who is the second one"?) It is a pointed reminder to the world of Iran's capacity to trigger, through Hezbollah and Syria, a regional conflagration.

This is the kind of brinksmanship you get when leaders of a rogue regime are under growing pressure. The only hope to get them to reverse course is to relentlessly increase their feeling that, if they don't, the Arab states, Israel, the Europeans and America will, one way or another, ensure that ruin is visited upon them.

Two Day Old Girl Victim of Honor Killing

They killed a two day old newborn to uphold their honor. They have .......uh, different priorities. But don't slam them, it's an islamic cultural thing, and we must respect our Islamic overlords. Have the feminists come out, tongues flapping, saying it was a "late term abortion"?

OT but related: Why is it that the term "muslim mother" doesn't evoke the same imagery and warmth as "Jewish mother"? Just sayin. And yet society increasingly chooses to give more respect to the former -- another giant step backwards for mankind and the West.

Two-day-old girl killed in 'honour killing'
Turkish police on Friday detained an unmarried mother and six other people near Istanbul for their suspected role in the so-called "honour killing" of a 2-day-old baby girl, state news agency Anatolian said.

The baby was suffocated by her grandmother after the family learned the 25-year-old mother became pregnant out of wedlock, Anatolian said.

"My family decided to kill my baby," the mother told the police, according to Anatolian. "My 55-year-old mother choked the baby with a cloth. Then, my brothers buried the baby in a hole in the garden and covered the hole with cement."

Police found the body after receiving an anonymous phone call.

Among those detained were also a doctor and the doctor's secretary, They allegedly had agreed not to register the baby's birth in return for an undisclosed amount of money.

The baby's father is doing his military service and was not involved in the incident.

"Honour killings," or crimes carried out against women seen to have tainted the family's name, are not uncommon in mainly Muslim Turkey, particularly in poor and rural areas.

The European Union, which Turkey has applied to join, has repeatedly urged Ankara to take a tougher stance against such crimes.

Sarkozy Questions Obama's Sanity

Sarkozy "Appalled" by "Insane" Obama

I've been wondering how the rest of the world, sans our constitutional viewpoint, views Obama. Now at least we know how French President Sarkozy sees him.

While our media still touts him as brilliant, articulate, and persuasive, the EU Times is reporting adjectives like "dangerous" and "insane," along with concerns that he is unwilling to listen to reason or logic. Sounds to me like Sarkozy is getting to know Barry pretty well.

French Leader Sarkozy Slams Obama, Warns He Might Be Insane

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today authored by France’s Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE) and recently“obtained” by the FSB shockingly quotes French President Nicolas Sarkozy [photo top right with Obama] as stating that President Barack Obama is “a dangerous[ly] aliéné”, which translates into his, Obama, being a“mad lunatic”, or in the American vernacular,“insane”.

According to this report, Sarkozy was“appalled” at Obama’s “vision” of what the World should be under his “guidance” and“amazed” at the American Presidents unwillingness to listen to either “reason” or “logic”.

Sarkozy’s meeting where these impressions of Obama were formed took place nearly a fortnight ago at the White House in Washington D.C., and upon his leaving he“scolded” Obama and the US for not listening closely enough to what the rest of the World has to say.
Anti-Mullah

The EU has made gross errors in their treatment of Muslims. The Europeans maintained their Crusader attitude as they exploited Arabs through a colonial network through most of the last century.
Muslims gained jobs during the post-war recovery, but they avoided acculturation. The Europeans failed to absorb the newcomers as full citizens and lost the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons. The Arabs were caught in nowhere apart from the great civilizations.

Re: NAFTA. Nobody Will Admit Fatherhood

Somewhere, there are 10,000 pencil pushers at work to define the specifics of the New American Century. The protocol makes Big Brother appear the kindly old uncle.
The monster raises his head from the murky depths rarely. Usually called NAFTA, he strikes terror into the hearts of the great unwashed [us]. It has gotten so bad that his recent manifestations are virtually a secret such as NSPD51.
NAFTA introduces slavery to three countries. Without habeas corpus and human rights liberty ends. What politician would publicly espouse that? What citizen would vote to be a slave?
To establish the European Union Codes, they sent the new laws in packets to the Parliament to be rubber-stamped without discussion.
The North Americans will get NAFTA in one big lump, as an accomplished fact.
