Adulterers Avoid Charges by Drinking Breast Milk

It's hard to believe, but in some parts of the world you can actually dodge charges of adultery by sucking on a woman's breast: A post at Open Salon says that "the Saudis have issued a fatwa that forces women who come into contact with unrelated men on a regular basis to breastfeed them so that they can be considered 'relatives' and not potential lovers." (It is illegal under Saudi Arabian law for men to mix with unrelated women.) It's unclear whether or not this fatwa is enforced, though there seem to be plenty of theories on how it should be applied: Sheikh Al Obeikan says, "The man should take the milk, but not directly from the breast of the woman," while Sheikh Abi Ishaq Al Huwaini demands that men suckle directly from the breast.
