The translation of 'Al Qaeda" from the arabic is headquarters, or CENTCOM, central command. Al Qaeda, the military wing of Islam, is calling the ummah in Detroit and Europe to fulfill the Islamic obligation of jihad and attack the infidel and kuffar.
Expect the stealth jihadist Muslim Brotherhood groups in the US to maintain plausible deniability while subversively working to overthrow our constitutional republic.
Al-Qaida leader urges Motor City jihad UPI
DETROIT, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- An American-born al-Qaida operative is urging Muslims living in Europe and in Detroit to carry out attacks in defense of Islam.
A new 48-minute recording released this weekend apparently came from Adam Gadhan, the California farm boy who has become an English-speaking voice of the international terrorist organization.
"It is the duty of everyone who is sincere in his desire to defend Islam and Muslims today, to take the initiative to perform the individual obligation of jihad," Gadhan said.
CBS News said the recording was made available by SITE, a U.S. organization that monitors terrorist activities.
Gadhan specifically called on Muslims living in "the miserable suburbs of Paris, London and Detroit" to rise up and attack.

Israel's Extremely 'Dire Situation' in Europe

There is a debate within Israel over the broader implications of the cancellation of the local authorities' heads' trip to Holland on Sunday. Some commentators see it as part of a broader anti-Israel trend in Europe, while others view it as an isolated incident.
"You need to look at the context of Israeli-European relations. During the past year, the European Court of Justice in Luxemburg ruled on a seemingly financial issue, which carries long term political and legal implications."
Dr. Pardo referred to a ruling according to which Israeli produce originating from territories beyond the Green Line does not qualify under the criteria set by the trade agreement between Europe and Israel, and therefore cannot be exported tax free. That is to say, anything that is grown beyond the Green Line is not considered as being grown in Israel, and therefore is not included in the agreement.
"This decision critically influences Israel's future conduct in front of the EU," Dr. Pardo noted. "We are witnessing the qualification of a political decision in the legal echelons. As far as the EU is concerned, the ruling forced the 1967 borders on Israel. It is an unprecedented ruling.
"It is clear that as long as there are no significant steps to end the conflict, there will be no upgrade in relations with Europe," he added.
"There is an ideological gap between the two societies. Israel's situation is extremely dire in Europe. It is not considered legitimate as long as it is an occupier. Holland is one of the founders of the EU, and so its decisions accurately reflect the European public's position vis-à-vis what they consider an unjust occupation," he concluded.
In contrast, Dr. Emmanuel Navon, a European Union expert from Tel Aviv University, wished to calm the spirits. "At the moment it is the expression of a single country, and does not reflect the European Union's policy, because the EU has no de-facto stance vis-à-vis foreign and defense policies," he said.
Dr. Navon pointed especially to Eastern Europe, where he said "states hold much more pro-Israeli positions." Navon also named several Western European leaders with a pro-Israeli stance, such as Silvio Berlusconi, Nicolas Sarkozy, David Cameron and Angela Merkel.
"In the past," he noted, "Holland was the most pro-Israeli country within the EU, but its stance does not reflect the rest of the member states."
I would add that since the gentleman pictured at the top of this post recently won 24 seats in the Dutch election, Holland's anti-Israel policies aren't written in stone either.

After the Saturday People, They'll Come After the Sunday People

While Israeli action, or the country's mere existence, may indeed serve as a source of motivation for some terrorists, it is not the primary cause. For proof, look no further than a 1998 fatwa issued by the World Islamic Front, widely considered to be synonymous with Al Qaeda, calling on Muslims "to kill Americans and their allies-civilians and military." The primary justifications for the edict?I would add another proof that Islamic terror would continue even if - God forbid - Israel were to cease to exist: Europe. Europe has for the most part not supported Israel for thirty years. Would anyone seriously argue that Islamic terror is not a threat to Europe?A plain-text reading of the fatwa suggests that America's support for Israel constitutes one half of one of the three main justifications of terrorism. The fatwa places far more emphasis on justifying terrorism against Americans who are "the crusaders" and are "occupying" and "plundering" Muslim lands such as Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
- "First, for over seven years the United States has been occupying the lands of Islam in the holiest of places, the Arabian Peninsula, plundering its riches, dictating to its rulers, humiliating its people, terrorizing its neighbors, and turning its bases in the Peninsula into a spearhead through which to fight the neighboring Muslim peoples.
- Second, despite the great devastation inflicted on the Iraqi people by the crusader-Zionist alliance, and despite the huge number of those killed, which has exceeded 1 million…despite all this, the Americans are once against trying to repeat the horrific massacres, as though they are not content with the protracted blockade imposed after the ferocious war or the fragmentation and devastation. So here they come to annihilate what is left of this people and to humiliate their Muslim neighbors.
- Third, if the Americans' aim behind these wars are religious and economic, the aim is also to serve the Jews' petty state and divert attention from its occupation of Jerusalem and murder of Muslims there. The best proof of this is their eagerness to destroy Iraq, the strongest neighboring Arab state, and their endeavor to fragment all the states of the region such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Sudan into paper statelets and through their disunion and weakness to guarantee Israel's survival and the continuation of the brutal crusade occupation of the Peninsula."
Even when Osama bin Laden talks about Palestine, analysts believe it is at least partially a cynical play at popular support. He started speaking more exclusively about Palestine in 2008, prompting Nigel Inkster, Director of Transnational Threats and Political Risk at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, to note the shift came as Al Qaeda in Iraq was defeated.
In addition, many Muslims turned against it after Al Qaeda attacks killed so many fellow Muslims.
"Al Qaeda could now be preparing its followers for a strategic failure in Iraq," Inkster told the BBC. "It therefore needs a rallying cry and Palestine is a no-brainer."
A Slate magazine article reached a similar conclusion four years earlier:"Bin Laden continues to emphasize the plight of the Palestinians, as he has since the second intifada broke out in 2000, because he knows that is a bigger winner for him with ordinary Muslims than the corruption of the Saudi monarchy, his old hobbyhorse."

Fighting for Human Rights in European Courts
With all due respect to the ACLU, the evidence shows the futility of trying human rights cases in the USA. The Bush Administration has set the judicial and law enforcement processes to function as they would in a dictatorship. The aggrieved party has no chance in court.
Particularly in Spain, the European Courts have been sympathetic to victims of human rights abuse. In this regard, Rwanda has proven superior to the USA as well.
Eventually, these US violations of human rights will flood the local prisons with innocents, Now is the time to complain. Later, you will go to jail for it.
