Getting Gang Raped in Dearborn

Check out my oped in today's Big Government. Mind you, this is where I just won my lawsuit to run my bus ads offering help to Muslims in fear of their lives.

Bg jones
Islamic Law Comes to Dearborn Pamela Geller, Big Government

Dearborn, Michigan has become a Sharia enclave, much like those populating many European countries. The city of Dearborn, Michigan denied a permit Wednesday for Qur’an-burning Pastor Terry Jones’ planned protest outside the Islamic Center of America on Good Friday.

Islamic supremacists were handed a victory for their violent intimidation and threats. City spokeswoman Mary Laundroche said that Jones’ permit had been denied for “public safety reasons.” In other words, they’re afraid Muslims will riot. And so the rights of free Americans have to be curtailed.

Terry Jones burned a Qur’an. So what? What happened to the freedom of assembly, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of expression? Terry Jones is prohibited from rallying in Michigan for fear of Islamic violence. Is that how far down the Sharia rabbit hole we have gone? Why is it that any time American law comes into conflict with Islamic law, it is American law that has to give way?

How dare they prohibit this march? Nazis marched in Skokie. Americans better stand up to this enforced Sharia. The idea that Muslims in America would get violent because of Jones speaks volumes about Muslims in America, does it not? Why don’t we don’t see Muslims taking to the streets every time there is an honor killing, or a church bombing, or an act of jihad, jihad piracy, forced marriage, or child slavery? Where are they?

Dearborn is trying to charge Jones for the extra police protection that his rally will require. But he is not the one responsible for that; the Muslims who might get violent are. If Jones had burned a Bible, no one would be threatening violence against him. Dearborn should charge the Muslims for the extra police, not Jones.

Once again Dearborn shows itself to be a pro-Sharia city that oppresses Christians. Who can forget the Christians who were arrested for passing out leaflets at a Muslim festival last July? Or the lawsuit that challenges the official cooperation by the city of Dearborn, Michigan with Islamic interests, and makes a stunning allegation: that under the recognized “Shariah” law in the city, there have been “honor killing” murders that have been “covered up”?

Wednesday’s court filing against Constitutional freedoms “equates the actions of zealots in Afghanistan with Muslim Americans in Dearborn.” I pulled that quote from Muslim Brotherhood-tied CAIR. Indeed.

As for Jones, I don’t like book burning, but so what? I have repeatedly stated my position on this. Jones does a grave disservice to the cause of spreading awareness about Islamic teachings and the threat that Sharia poses to our way of life. The burning of books is wrong in principle: the antidote to bad speech is not censorship or book-burning, but more speech. Open discussion. Give-and-take. And the truth will out. There is no justification for burning books.

Nonetheless, if Americans are free and not under Sharia, then Jones can burn any book he wants, and his church and people of like mind can hold any demonstration they want. His freedom and rights should be protected. Islamic supremacists should not be allowed a victory for their violent intimidation — if these people want to stage a protest, they’re free to do so.

This is another challenge to the U.S. to stand up for free speech and free expression. Popular speech needs no protection. As such all Americans should support the right of the church to have done this, even if they dislike what they’re doing.

Many people have said that Jones’s actions will endanger American troops in Afghanistan. This warning is just another terror tactic. It is based on the assumption that the Taliban and others in Afghanistan are fighting us because we are doing things they don’t like, and so if we stop doing those things, they will stop fighting us. But actually they are fighting us because of imperatives within the Islamic faith. They will never like us unless we convert to Islam or submit to Islamic rule. If we stop doing things they dislike, where will we draw the line? How far will Sharia advance in the U.S., with Americans afraid to stop its advance for fear of offending Muslims and stirring them up to violence? The Muslim Students Association is already pushing for halal cafeterias, segregated dorms, segregated gym facilities on campus. This is incompatible with American freedom. We have to draw the line.

I will tell you this: Islamic law (Sharia) cannot, must not, and will not have its way over our free speech. That is worth fighting for, worth dying for.

UPDATE: More on this outrage.......

Jones may not be sympathetic, but he has every right to assembly, free speech and free expression. What the hell is he doing in a courtroom? And why does he face jail time? I have seen the most vile displays of subversion, anti-Americanism, Jew hatred and violence at anti-war rallies during the Bush years. No one said boo. It's free speech. The KKK marches, no one says boo, it's free speech. Monsters protest military funerals, Supreme Court says it free speech.

So what the hell is this?

The city of Dearborn's position is that Muslims are so violent and irrational that they won't be able to control themselves if Jones holds a protest? And he has to pay for damages? Why wouldn't the marauding Muslim hordes pay the damages if they are doing the damage? And if they get violent, why aren't they in jail?

The assumption that Muslims will go jihad is.....racist-islamophobic-anti-muslim bigotry, is it not?

Using the Giffords' Shootings to Destroy Free Speech

Using The Giffords Shooting To Destroy Free Speech
by Pamela Geller
01/13/2011

Now it is clear that Jared Loughner was stalking Gabrielle Giffords for years, long before Sarah Palin and her supposed “target” electoral map. Now it is clear that Loughner’s classmates were afraid of him months ago.

One teacher wrote last summer: “Hopefully he will be out of class very soon, and not come back with an automatic weapon.” A student wrote: “He frightened the daylights out of me. I kept saying to people, ‘I’m afraid he’s going to come into the class with a gun.' ”

Not only was he dangerous, he was a Leftist. Loughner’s high school friend, Caitie Parker, remembers him as a “political radical” who was “Left-wing, quite liberal.” Loughner also has a creepy “music video” up on YouTube, in which he is dressed as a terrorist and burns an American flag.

Now that we know it proves true what I said on Saturday at 4:16 p.m. (Atlas was first with the youtube channel): that Loughner was a Left-wing radical loon. Nonetheless, be warned. The Left is still trying to use this lunatic’s insane actions to try to shut us up.

That’s what the Democrats do. Two proposals are floating. One is designed to tamp down the political rhetoric. What does that mean? It won’t apply to the left -- that much is sure. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), said Sunday: “We are in a dark place in this country right now; the atmospheric condition is toxic. Much of it originates here in Washington D.C., and we export it around the country.”

His solution? Muzzle the Right.

This from the congressman who lied and said he heard a “chorus” of Tea Partiers use an ugly racial epithet. Yet no evidence -- none -- was ever found for this allegation. There were thousands of people there, with hundreds of video cameras rolling. Not one caught this “chorus.” So Cleaver eventually retracted his claim. But now he is proposing speech restrictions? You can’t make this stuff up.

And Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.) plans legislation to make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening to a federal official.

First Amendment out the window. Free speech, as long as it is speech the fascists like.

And why is a federal official’s life more valuable than say, mine? I get death threats all the time using jihadic language and Islamic symbols. Let’s outlaw those too, eh?

The killer was a madman -- Loughner stalked Giffords for three years. The killer’s eerie note: “I planned ahead.“

Three years. That means that he started before Palin became a key national figure, before the Tea Party and before the 2010 Republican win. So all those charges are just hate propaganda designed to destroy our best people. Loughner was no conservative. He was nuts. Period.

Exception makes bad law. The father of the 9-year-old angel who was shot in the chest does not want restrictions on free speech.

Of course, gun control is also on the fascist agenda of exploitation of this mass murder. More Lefty lies to control and disarm the people.

As if gun control will improve mental illness. Yes, let’s take guns out of the hands of decent, law-abiding citizens. Amazing how the Republicans postponed all House business, yet the Democrats are rushing this legislation.

Consider this: The rabid obsession that the media and the Democrats have exhibited in hanging the Right with the Arizona slaughter of six by a Left-wing radical is a mirror inversion of the Democrats’ and media’s obsession with the silence on the religious motive behind Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan’s jihad at Fort Hood, which led to the slaughter of 14.

Major Hasan was a proud shaheed. He had come out as a jihadi on grand grounds. He had “Soldier of Allah” imprinted on his business card. Anwar al-Awlaki was his imam. He distributed copies of the Koran on the morning of this Islamic attack on the U.S. military base. Hasan screamed the war cry of jihad, “Allahu Akbar,” as he mowed down our soldiers at Fort Hood. And if that wasn’t bad enough, we had to be lectured, counseled and admonished for months afterward against “Islamophobia” (which is effectively the enforcement of Islamic law against blasphemy).

As our brave soldiers lay dying, many dead, the chief concern of Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey in the bloody aftermath was that “speculation could potentially heighten backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And what happened at Fort Hood was a tragedy, but I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here.” That was the kickoff. A threat to diversity was the problem, not jihadis in the military.

The wreckage that is being caused by the media’s scorched-earth tantrum is a shock to the American system. If they get away with it, nothing will be the same.
Email, write, snail mail, call your congressman and say no to this. Why punish the American people by shredding the Constitution? Say no to the left’s attempt to use this tragedy to further Left-wing totalitarian aims.

Anty Christ Furor - NY Post

A Smithsonian exhibit that includes a video of ants crawling on a crucified Christ has triggered an unholy backlash -- with the head of the Catholic League fuming that the artwork is "hate speech."

"A Fire in My Belly," by the late artist David Wojnarowicz, is included in "Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture," a show at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery to run through Feb. 13.

Catholic League President Bill Donohue said the four-minute video "was designed to insult and inflict injury and assault the sensibilities of Christians," and he blasted the museum's federal funding.

"If the government can't fund the promotion of religion, it shouldn't be in the business of funding an animus to religion," he said.

The government can't fund the promotion of religion? Does Obama know?

Does NASA know?

Does the State department know?

Who is going to tell Rauf?

My Public Library Called the Police on Me

Islamizing the Public Library: Your Taxpayer Dollars at Work Proselytizing for Islam Attack on Free Speech: "My public library called the police on me"

So many issues at work here, so little time. This is yet another example of the Islamization of America and what we at SIOA are combating -- the separation of mosque and state.

This is not only a gross violation of free speech, but it involves using the library for dawah, proselytizing for Islam. If Islamic supremacists are going to use taxpayer-funded secular institutions to proselytize for Islam, Muslims must reciprocate in the spirit of "inter-faith dialogue," "mutual respect," and "mutual understanding." Mosques must open their doors to missionaries from other religions and allow their congregants the opportunity to explore Christianity and other religions and convert out of Islam without fear of death.

Cate sent me her story:

"My public library called the police on me."

I want to share with a few friends what took place at my public library in Columbia, Maryland today. I saw in this article http://columbia.p...atch.com/articles/library-hosting-series-on-islamic-arts-and-sciences about an Islamic seminar taking place today. I was suspicious of propaganda so I researched the co-sponsors: The Howard County Muslim Council and the Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim Christian Understanding at Georgetown University -and this is what I found:

The HOWARD COUNTY MUSLIM COUNCIL has ties to Dar Al-Taqwa on Route 108 in Ellicott City, the county's only mosque. It has been revealed in the past that the mosque's Web site had links to an Islamic news site that carried incendiary, pro-al Qaeda stories.

"PUBLIC POLICY OBJECTIVES" of the Howard County Muslim Council is as follows and is quoted from their website:

"* Involve Muslims in the development of public policy.

*Educate Howard County School officials about the special needs of Muslims, in order to improve public school policies."

In light of the above, the speaker SUSAN DOUGLASS, a Muslim on the staff of the Prince Alaweed bin-Talal Center for Muslim Christian Understanding at Georgetown University, should be of great concern because of her radical connections and influence on public school textbooks and cirricula

http://www.sullivan-county.com/islam/front.htm

I printed out the above link and info with this statement:

"Please be informed that Non-Muslims lived as "Dhimmis" under Islamic control in Spain. Dhimmis are non-Muslims living in a land governed by Muslims. The Jews and Christians were allo...wed to practice their religion but had limited autonomy and were considered 2nd class citizens. They received "protection" by their Muslim rulers, but this did not occur for free. There was a specific tax called the jizya that Dhimmis had to pay to receive these benefits. Having its origin in the Qur'an, it states Dhimmis who did not pay this tax, should either convert to Islam, or face the death penalty (Qur'an 9, 29). Muslims were exempt from this tax. The jizya was not only a tax, but also a symbolic expression of subordination."

I also printed out this article: http://thecandideye.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/saudis-have-radicalized-80-of-us-mosques/

I then headed to the library with the above material. When I arrived, I saw 60-70 people, mostly non-Muslims in attendance. I was 20 minutes late and saw on the program schedule that I had just missed my very liberal County Executive, Ken Ulman, give the "Kickoff Greeting". I was alarmed when I noted that there were a couple of tables displaying proselytizing material on Islam with copies of the Quran. At this point, I decided to go make copies of the material I had brought with me. I returned to the seminar and took photos (see attached) of the display tables and took a copy of each of the brochures that were promoting the religion of Islam. Nearly all the brochures where printed by the ICNA: http:///www.investigativeproject.org/2098/promoting-radical-ideas-what-icna-demands-of-its

The titles of the brochures were: "Islam Explained", "Concept of God in Islam", "Who is Jesus?", "The Prophet Muhammad", "The Origin of the Quran", "Human Rights in Islam", "What does Islam say about Terrorism", "Unveiling the Mystery Hijab", and one by WAMY entitled "The concept of Worship in Islam".

I questioned Meridy McCague, an employee of the library, if there have been any other programs for other religions and she said no, not in the year that she has worked there. She said that Lisa Bankman was the Library employee overseeing the seminar.
As people were leaving I stood outside the conference room and handed out my material to those who accepted it. I started to meet resistance by a few Muslims who demanded to know who was paying me to be there and what my name was. I told them I was there by own free will and I refused to give my name for safety reasons. I said I was a tax payer to the county and I was using my freedom of speech to speak out against the use of my tax dollars to support the library in proselytizing for Islam. Valerie Gross, the CEO of Howard County Libraries, acknowledged that I had a good point regarding the display of Islamic proselytizing material but told me that I needed to disperse my own material 20 feet outside the Library door and that she was calling the police. I said fine, and that I would go outside once the proselytizing material was removed from the displays. She became more demanding that I leave - so I went outside where I was verbally abused by a couple Muslims who accused me of being from the Tea Party and spreading hate and that they had the right to do what they were doing at the library. A few people who witnessed the way I was spoken to, sided with me. The police came as I was leaving and I was called back to the entrance where Valerie Gross admitted to the policeman that I had a right to freedom of speech but pointed out that I did not leave the inside of the library for 10 minutes after being ordered to leave. The officer ordered me to produce my ID and then I was ordered to leave and was told by Valerie Gross in front of the officer that I was banned from the public library from now on!

UPDATE: Thanks to Mitch;

For anybody who would like to chime in and let this library know how you feel about this...

Six Arrested in Gateshead Over Koran Burning

England has indeed entered a very dark age. Yes, it's a bad idea to burn a qu'ran but so what? And what's next? If you insult a Muslim, will that too, be a jailable offense? If we stop doing things they dislike, where will we draw the line? How far will Sharia advance in the U.S., with Americans afraid to stop its advance for fear of offending Muslims and stirring them up to violence?

If men are free and not under Sharia, then anyone can do this if they want, and their freedom and rights should be protected. Islamic supremacists should not be allowed a victory for their violent intimidation -- if these people want to burn a book, they're free to do so.

America, take heed as this protends most ill for our future as we are following the same primitive path of submission.

"The principle of free speech is not concerned with the content of a man's speech and does not protect only the expression of good ideas, but all ideas. If it were otherwise, who would determine which ideas are good and where forbidden? The government?"
"Once a country accepts censorship of the press and of speech, then nothing can be won without violence. Therefore, so long as you have free speech, protect it. This is the life-and-death issue in this country: do not give up the freedom of the press -- of newspapers, books, magazines, radio, movies, and other forms of presenting ideas. So long as that's free, a peaceful intellectual turn is possible." Ayn Rand

Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR is calling for prosecution "to the full extent of state and federal law" in the case of a burned qu'ran copy.

Sorry, supremacists, this is protected speech. There have been thousands of burned flags, desecrated bibles, torahs, blah blah blah. So what?

We would have to introduce an amendment to the Constitution abridging free speech in order to prosecute such "crimes."

Yes, burning the qu'ran is a bad idea. It does a grave disservice to the cause of spreading awareness about Islamic teachings and the threat that Sharia poses to our way of life.

The burning of books is wrong in principle: the antidote to bad speech is not censorship or book-burning, but more speech. Open discussion. Give-and-take. And the truth will out. There is no justification for burning books.

If they were burning a Bible, no one would be threatening violence against them. And nobody would be threatening to have them prosecuted to the full extent of the law, as the Islamic supremacists like Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked CAIR is doing.

Afghans Protest Quran Burning

Livid over a Florida pastor's plans to burn Qurans on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, hundreds of angry young Afghans flooded the streets of Kabul Thursday to protest. Chanting "Quran is our law," and "Muhammad is our leader," the protesters threw rocks at posters encouraging Afghan citizens to vote in its parliamentary elections and set an effigy on fire. Afghan police have had trouble containing the chaos. Islamic clerics also reported a protest in an area just outside the Bagram air base. While several Afghan clerics are appreciative that so many American politicians—including President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Sarah Palin—have denounced plans to burn Qurans, protests are expected to continue across Afghanistan as the Saturday event in Florida draws near. Cleric Abdul Hadi Rostaqi told the Associated Press that if the church goes through with the burning, Afghans will stage a large anti-American protest in Mazar-e Sharif. Said Enayatullah Balegh, a Muslim cleric who teaches Islamic law at Kabul University: "People expressed their anger, their frustrations, and they said they're going to be defending the holy Quran," he said. "And they promised to take action."

After years of hearing about US freedom, the Afghans can't get the First Amendment.
