Fred Grandy Fights for Your Free Speech

Last week I reported on the untimely departure of brave and honest talk show radio host Fred Grandy.

WMAL-AM in Washington, DC gave morning talk show host Fred Grandy an “offer he couldn’t accept” – don’t talk about Islam so much and leave your popular wife at home. The Friday discussions between Fred and “Mrs. Fred” about the Shariah threat to American freedoms and institutions were one of the most popular parts of the program.

Grandy refused to meet those conditions and his show was cancelled. Now WMAL comes out with a different version of the incident everytime they get a call. The bottom line is this WMAL has become the first Shariah-compliant radio station in America. They speak about radical Islam very gingerly and they have no time for opinionated women like Mrs. Fred. Call them today and let them know you support the Constitution and not Shariah.

Today, Monday (March 7) and tomorrow, Tuesday (March 8) are “Call Out WMAL Days.” From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each of those days, please call WMAL at (202) 686-3100 and tell them you will not listen to their station until Fred and Mrs. Fred Grandy return. America expects radio stations to be committed to free speech and the Truth. We expect WMAL to grow a backbone and stand up to CAIR and the other radicals who are pressuring them. Call early and often. Then at 10 a.m. Wednesday, we will meet at WMAL’s studios, 4400 Jenifer St. NW, Washington, DC 20015 with signs to demonstrate our support for Fred Grandy and his wife and their courageous stand against radical Islam.

France's Extremists Right & Left Join Versus Islam

But the increasing ease with which mainstream politicians and commentators now point a guilty finger at Islam on virtually any topic has created an unhealthy environment in which hard-core secularists on the extreme left have joined forces with Arab-hating neo-Nazi groups in a mutual effort to erase Islam's visibility — or even presence — in France. The fusing of such dark forces should have Sarkozy and other French leaders rushing to embrace moderate Muslims like Bouzar to find a common way forward for France and Islam — not talking down to them in a manner that leaves them looking like even better targets for extremists.

Boycotts,Divestment and Sanction Versus Israel

Palestine solidarity activists are organizing a day of action today, 10 December, to encourage "people of conscience" to join the more than 18,000 who have already signed a US-wide petition urging financial holdings corporation TIAA-CREF to disinvest from construction vehicle manufacturer Caterpillar Incorporated.

According to campaign coordinating group Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), TIAA-CREF has invested more than $250 million in Caterpillar, which the group says is "complicit" in Israel's violations of US and international law ("December 10: TIAA-CREF day of action).

Yes, your basic nightmare.

This day of action is just part of JVP's ongoing campaign to target TIAA-CREF. In July, activists attended the shareholder meeting and presented an "overwhelming" amount of signatures they had gathered in support of TIAA-CREF's divestment from companies that profit from Israeli occupation policies.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian-led movement of boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israeli human rights violations and apartheid policies continues to gather steam elsewhere around the world.

Muslim-American Soldier at Fort Hood Tells Al Jazeera: U.S. Army Training is ‘Propaganda Against Islam’
(CNSNews.com) - Zachari Klawonn, a Muslim U.S. Army specialist stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, told the Arabic-language television network Al Jazeera in a recent interview that training he had undergone in the U.S. military was “propaganda against Islam.” Klawonn said he was subject to harassment from fellow soldiers and from the Army command itself. A spokesman for Fort Hood told CNSNews.com that, as an American, Klawonn had a right to express his views and that he had informed his commanding officer that he was going to appear on Al-Jazeera.
