An explosion outside a church in the north Egyptian city of Alexandria has left at least five dead, security officials and witnesses say.

The blast, apparently caused by a car bomb, hit people as they left a new year's service at the al-Qidiseen church shortly after midnight.

Obama say, "Respect it!" Daisy the Khan say, "the era of extremism is over!" Geller says, "Defeat this evil."

Turkish Troops Stop Christmas

More Islamic supremacism from the reislamicized Turks with imperialistic aspirations of an Ottoman Empire. The local Cyprus TV and radio are reporting since Christmas evening that troops in northern occupied Cyprus entered at least seven Greek Orthodox churches, stopped the worship services, threw out the people, and in at least one case forced a priest to remove his clerical dress.

As we arrived and were being permitted to enter the Ground Zero construction area, the media was being told NO Cameras. No filming was going to be allowed for ‘security’ reasons! Some of the press was packing up their tripods and cameras. Wonder if some of the left? I was very surprised (as was everyone) at these restrictions. About 15 minutes later, little by little, the word began to spread that only SOME people could film (the diocese) but that too was still ridiculous since this was an event to which the media was invited. Another 10 minutes or so and everyone started filming, so I figured that meant me, too. But, never was there a formal “Go” just a sort of whispered…I guess we can film now….

The children of St. Nicholas carried precious artifacts that were damaged yet miraculously survived on that horrific day:A splintered wooden icon, a tattered altar cloth, a crushed silver bowl, a twisted candelabra, a VERY bent brass bell, mangled candles and a liturgical book.

While Mayor Bloomberg wets himself in anxious haste to build the offensive Ground Zero mosque, the iconic St. Nicholas Greek Church, built in 1916 and destroyed by the destruction of the World Trade towers by Muslim terrorists, remains vanquished, unable to rebuild. Bloomberg is lobbying for 911 taxpayer funds for Islamic supremacist grifters behind the Ground Zero mosque, but the St. Nicholas church is in purgatory, ten years after the worst day in modern American history.

St. Nicholas Church sues Port Authority, claims that agency is blocking church's reconstruction NY Daily News

A notice of claim was filed Monday on behalf of St. Nicholas Church and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, declaring their intention to sue.

"This claim arises out of the arrogance, bad faith and fraudulent conduct of the Port Authority in preventing St. Nicholas from re-building its church at Ground Zero," the church says in its legal filings.

Church files claim against WTC owner WSJ

NEW YORK — A Greek Orthodox church destroyed on Sept. 11 is taking legal action against the agency that owns ground zero, saying it's reneged on a promise to rebuild the church.'

The Wall Street Journal reports that St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church filed a notice of claim against the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on Monday. The papers seeks to compel the agency to live up to what it says is a "binding preliminary agreement."

Cairo, 16 Nov. (AKI) - A group of Islamic radicals set fire to 10 houses belonging to Christians in a village approximately 500 kilometres south of Cairo, less than a month after Al-Qaeda said it would target the northern African country's religious minority.

Local security forces said the assailants would have caused far more damage had they not been arrested. Following an October attack on a Baghdad church that killed at least 58 people, Al-Qaeda said it would target Christians in the Middle East and northern Africa and singled out those in Egypt.

Attacks on Christians have increased despite announcements of support by Muslim leaders.
Coptic Christians make up around 10 percent of Egypt's population of 80 million.

Exposing the true face of Islam, Egyptian Muslims Celebrate Eid- ul-Adha (feast of the sacrifice) by burning and torching at least ten Christian homes and 65 shops in Southern Egypt. All this mayhem and carnage "over a rumour that a young Coptic Christian man and a Muslim girl were in a romantic relationship, said officials Tuesday".
In traditional Islamic style, the reaction is always extreme and disproportioned to the alleged transgression.

Only after the damage was done did Authorities step in and arrested only several people out of a mob exceeding 4000.

To prevent the murder of "Romeo and Juliet" "The security forces have also taken into custody the Christian man and Muslim girl that are at the centre of the controversy for investigation", that locals apparently caught together at night in the village cemetery. To leave the two behind would have resulted in their murder, stating with the honour killing of the girl for the "shame" she has brought on the family name, her life will never be the same again, and will remain the subject of ridicule and harassment if she remains in that village

The world is slowly becoming aware of the struggle and plight of the Copts that has endured for over 1400 years. The increasing violence towards the copts has resulted in an increasing number of frightened Christians moving into all-Christian neighbourhoods and attending schools run by the church. The islamists are effectively winning by forcing the copts into self imposed isolation and segregation from main stream egyptian community. The separation is the only means of protection the copts have to the increasing intolerance and persecution against the copts, the indigenous natives of egypt by Muslim extremist groups.

In January 2010, a group of gunmen in several cars opened fire on Christians exiting a church in the Southern Egyptian town of Nag Hammadi on Christmas Eve . The drive-by shooting incident left six people dead and another nine injured. Among those reportedly killed were a young man and his fiancé and a 14-year-old boy. Local sources say the gunmen wanted to kill Bishop Kirollos of the Nag Hammadi Diocese, who had publicly defended Coptic Christians after a Muslim riot last November.


Previously, a riot took place in November 2009 due to the allegation that a Christian young man had raped a young Muslim girl. Coptic Christians, however, asserted that the story was fabricated in order for Muslims to justify their attack, security forces found no evidence to support the fabrication.

This time around the riot reportedly left 65 shops destroyed and caused over $1 million in damage (6 million egyptian pounds). In the town of Farshoot alone, about 80 percent of Coptic businesses were destroyed.

Coptic Christians are regarded as second class citizens in egypt where general inequalities when it comes to education, economic opportunities, and government positions is the norm.

Human rights groups say attacks on Copts are on the rise, underscoring the government's failure to address chronic sectarian strains in a society where Islamic religious radicalism is gaining ground.

The Apostle Saint Mark founded the Coptic Church in the 1st century when he brought Christianity to Egypt. Then Muslims brought Islam to Egypt in the 7th century. After several centuries of forced conversion, Egypt now has a Muslim majority. Christians make up 10 percent of Egypt’s population while Muslims make up the remaining portion.

Muslim leaders daily remind us that islam is a religion of Peace. Even Obama on his "defacto Hajj to Indonesia" attests to this great religion. It is clear their islamic brothers in islamic nations totally disagree with them.
Imagine the outcry by the muslims residing in western countries if they were treated in the exact same manner!!!!

The Hypocrisy, double standards and utter confusion as to what islam represents is reprehensible.
In the west we are sold one brand of Islam, at the same time we witness that "ISLAM IN ACTION" in Islamic countries totally contradicts the carefully articulated sales pitch we are sold. I think you would all agree "Actions speak infinitely louder than words"

It is time to hold a royal commission into islam, shariah, koran, and stop the deception and double dutch. Westerns must demand their rights and have a set of established ground rules to control and regulate the impacts of islam on western society. The facts are Islam is totally incompatible with western countries and democracy, and they are opposed to it.

The world must realise, there is not one muslim Land, state, country, that has peace and has not bred terrorists or enjoys true democracy. Wake up world, and have a good look at all islamic nations, Is that what you want for your future generations?, do not repeat the mistake of Egypt.

For more than a decade, the second Sunday in November has been commemorated in churches worldwide as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. This year it is also the day that Sayed Mossa, an Afghan convert from Islam to Christianity, has been scheduled to stand trial.

Afghan government officials announced earlier this week that they have scheduled that court date for Mossa’s case—which WORLD has been covering (see “Fugitives,” Aug. 28, 2010, and “Deeds done in darkness,” Nov. 20, 2010)—even though the charges and his legal representation remain in doubt.

According to Westerners closely following his case in Kabul, Mossa is likely to be charged with espionage and with conversion to Christianity, or apostasy—crimes that may be punishable by death under Islamic law. The court session may be televised, officials have said, and it is likely that Mossa will be asked to renounce his faith.

On October 21, Muslims seized a church in Iraq, and kidnapped and slaughtered scores of righteous souls. We are witnessing the same annihilation of Coptic Christians in Egypt by Muslims as well.

UPI Falsely Accuses Israel of Persecuting Christians

UPI does a story on the increased pace of Christian flight from Iraq in light of a massacre in a Roman Catholic church on Sunday in which 52 Christians were murdered. They go on to point out that this is a widespread trend throughout the Middle East, and throughout all Muslim countries. Then, they come up with this gem.

But Iraq's Christians aren't the only ones on the run. Across the Middle East, and indeed in the wider Muslim world as far east as Indonesia, Christians are in retreat and often under fire.

In the West Bank town of Bethlehem, reputed to be Jesus' birthplace, Christians once comprised 85 percent of the population. They're now 20 percent.

Land belonging to Arab Christians, along with other Palestinians, is seized by Israel in the name of security, then handed over to Jewish settlers.

What a lie! Christians have fled and continue to flee Bethlehem and its environs, but it's not because Israel is seizing 'Palestinian' lands. Christians are fleeing because of the manner in which they've been brutalized by Muslims (like the priest in the picture at the top who was being held hostage in the Church of the Nativity in 2002 when the picture was taken).

Compare that with this description of Christian - Muslim relations which appeared in the JPost earlier this week:

In an 2005 interview with the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JPCA), Steven Khoury, of Bethlehem's First Baptist Church, reported that the church had been attacked by Muslims from a nearby refugee camp "…with Molotov cocktails 14 times. Our church vans have been burned. The church was broken into and defaced with graffiti five times." Others have reported the shooting of the Baptist Church's pastor.

In 2006, the UK's Daily Mail reported on the struggle of two Christians from the Bethlehem suburb of Beit Jala who were facing continuous persecution for their faith. George Rabie, a cab driver, said that he had been beaten by a gang of Muslims visiting from nearby Hebron, angered by the crucifix hanging on his windshield, and that he experiences persecution "every day." Jeriez Moussa Amaro told the Daily Mail that his two sisters Rada, 24, and Dunya, 28, had been shot dead by Muslim gunmen. "Their crime was to be young, attractive Christian women who wore Western clothes and no veil…" A terrorist organization, al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades, claimed responsibility for Amaro's sisters' murder.

OVERT violence isn't the only difficulty faced by Christians in areas under the Palestinian Authority. In recent weeks, Ramallah pastor Isa Bajalia, an American Christian of Arab descent, stated publicly that he has been threatened by a Palestinian Authority official, who demanded he pay $30,000 in protection money to ensure his safety. On November 11, Fox News reported, "Pastor Isa Bajalia is legally blind, yet he was also told by the official he would be crippled for life. The trouble started after church members held a prayer session for several Palestinians. Bajalia says he has been under surveillance and receiving threats." Isa Bajalia has since fled Ramallah.

Among the compiled JCPA interviews of West Bank Christians are reports of extortion by Arab Muslims, demands for protection money, seized properties, vandalized homes and shops, widespread rape of Christian girls, honor killings, and murders of converts to Christianity from Islam.

There's only one country in the entire Middle East where the Christian population increases year in and year out. Yes, you guessed it. Israel.

Bishops BASH Jews to Placate Muslims

Open Doors takes pains to note, however, that even before the offensive, which was directed at Hamas terrorists, not Christians, "Many [Christian] believers had already left, pressured by the growing influence of radical Islam..."

SO, IF radical Islam is the principal persecutor of Christians in the Mideast, why was Israel singled out? Apparently, by bashing Israel, Arab Catholic bishops as a persecuted minority in the Mideast are attempting to go out of their way to prove their loyalty to their Muslim brethren....

Bishops from this region have distorted both church teachings and the facts to sully Israel, while the Vatican has remained silent, in the process turning a blind eye to Christian suffering.
