December 19th 2007 the International Association of Genocide Scholars adopted a resolution to recognize the Assyrian Genocide. Finally, an international organisation made of qualified scholars has made a resolution to recognize the jihad slaughter of millions of Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Jews and Yezidis by the Islamic warlords of the Ottoman Empire and call it what it was - Genocide.
The Ottoman Empire now Turkey claims to have changed and has become a Democratic country and and wants to be welcomed into the European Union despite never acknowledging let along making amends or recompense for the their murder of millions, during the late Ottoman Empire, of hundreds of thousands of Armenians, Assyrians, Greeks and other minorities were killed in a planned, organized genocide that was carried out by the government of the time.
