High Treason Case Dropped at the Department of Justice: Betraying America Sanctioned by Obama Administration

New_york_crimes_rally_010

And the hits just keep on coming from Obama's Department of Justice -- last week we discovered that the DoJ scuttled the prosecution of Muslim Brotherhood groups in the US (i.e. CAIR, etc.)

We protested this action of sedition back in 2008.

Breaking News Politico
-------------------------------------------------

The Justice Department has dropped its long-running criminal investigation of a lawyer who publicly admitted leaking information about President George W. Bush’s top-secret warrantless wiretapping program to The New York Times – disclosures that Bush denounced as a breach of national security and that stoked a congressional debate about whether the government had overstepped its authority as it scrambled to respond to the 9/11 terror attacks.

The decision not to prosecute former Justice Department lawyer Thomas Tamm means it is unlikely that anyone will ever be charged for the disclosures that led to the Times’ Pulitzer Prize-winning story in December 2005 revealing that after the Sept. 11 attacks, Bush ordered the interception of certain phone calls and e-mail messages into and out of the U.S. without a warrant — a move many lawyers contend violated the 1978 law governing intelligence-related wiretaps.

Hamas-Backed Getting off Easy with DoJ

Rep. King Demands Answers; Ibrahim Hooper Complains

On April 18, The House Committee on Homeland Security issued a press release detailing Rep. King’s call for answers from the Department Of Justice regarding non-prosecution of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad in the notorious Holy Land Foundation trial.

Specifically, Rep. King wants to know why the DOJ has given CAIR, founder Omar Ahmad, and other unindicted co-conspirators such as the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), among others, a “free pass” considering the ample evidence against them presented at the Holy Land trial.

Previously, CAIR, and other unindicted co-conspirators, had asked the court to strike them from the unindicted co-conspirator list in both August 2007 and June 2008. Judge Solis declined CAIR, ISNA, and NAIT’s (among others) petition based on sufficient evidence showing links between these groups and the terrorist group Hamas. Hamas is well-known for engaging in very low risk suicide bombings against Israeli targets, among other cowardly acts that are the hallmark of Islamist terrorist groups.

Predictably, CAIR’s Ibrahim Hooper described Rep. King’s letter as “an obvious attempt at political payback for criticism of the anti-Muslim bias in Mr. King’s recent hearing…It is sad the Representative King’s personal vendetta against the American Muslim community has led him to become a mouthpiece for anti-Islam hate sites.”

The evidence of CAIR's creation and support for Hamas is vast, clear, and overwhelming. It is worth noting that Ibrahim Hooper has not demanded proof that CAIR and its founders engaged in terrorist or terrorist supporting activities. CAIR and Omar Ahmad's guilt is so obvious that CAIR's only choice is to deny and make counter accusations.

If Ibrahim Hooper and CAIR hold any evidence, however slim, that CAIR is not guilty of the acts accused, CAIR should file a lawsuit to have its “good name” cleared.

However, we all know how well that worked out for CAIR last time.

Thank You, CAIR

Yes, you read that headline right. I have been on the receiving end of a steady stream of emails going to Representative Gatto's office in support of my appearance to testify before the Alaska legislature tomorrow on anti-sharia legislation. If not for Hamas-tied CAIR's demand to remove me from the witness list, I would have never been on the receiving end of such utter goodness.

I am humbled and blessed by this outpouring of support, and it would not have been possible without the evildoers at the Brotherhood. Yes, thanks, bros :)

The people are so on to CAIR, even if the chattering classes and some of our political elites choose to be their abds.

Thank you for writing and calling. G-d love you.
Pam Geller

UPDATE: You can still contact Rep. Gatto’s Chief of Staff Karen Sawyer to request that I not be dropped as a witness. E-Mail: karen.sawyer@legis.state.ak.us

Rifqa Bary Still Fears for Her Life

And they can't bring themselves to write my name -- bloody cowards.

Despite intense pressure from the Islamic supremacist machine, charges will not be filed against those righteous souls who helped Rifqa Bary escape her devout Muslim household after her father threatened to kill her. Members of the family's mosque, the Noor Mosque, had been spying on Rifqa and warned her parents that she had converted out of Islam and to "straighten her out or else." Scroll this link.

In July of 2009, a young teenage girl ran away from her home in Ohio, after her father threatened to kill her upon discovering her conversion out of Islam. When she disappeared, many of her friends and those of us who had heard of her plight thought that she had met the worst of fates (as almost all of these cases end the same horrible way). Imagine our joy when she emerged alive.

Who can forget? Rifqa Bary: "I want to be free"

What followed was a campaign of intimidation and persecution by Islamic supremacists, her parents and CAIR. Their objective was to shut her up and return her to the hellish home she fought so desperately to Rifqa b escape. Further, they wanted to punish (as under the sharia) anyone who helped save her life.

The Islamic supremacists lost. The lovers and defenders of freedom were victorious. But no good deed goes unpunished. David Yerushalmi is representing me in the outrageous ten-million-dollar Islamic supremacist lawsuit brought by Omar Tarazi, lawyer for the parents of Rifqa Bary. Tarazi's mom worked for CAIR.

Rifqa Bary escaped with her life, despite the rapid pursuit of Muslim Brotherhood groups seeking to enfore the sharia for the crime of apostasy.

I am happy to report that American law did not give way to the sharia (Islamic law), and prosecutors will not be file charges against those who helped Rifqa Bary when she pleaded with them to help save her life.

Of course, the AP (Associated with terrorists Press) headline says Rifqa's lifesavers broke laws. That's the jihad press. I say anyone who didn't help this girl to escape death broke laws. A morally inverted world produces headline like this. I opined here: Rifqa Bary Case, Dhimmi Media Cheers on Sharia Law in Ohio

Rifqa fatwarcrop

On Facebook she is the dajjal (the anti-Christ), threatened here and here, all because she left Islam.

AP: Police say Ohio runaway's helpers broke laws

OLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Police recommended charges against six of the people who helped a teenage Christian convert run away from her Muslim parents in Ohio in 2009, an investigation by The Associated Press has found.

But prosecutors in Ohio and Florida have declined to file charges against anyone who helped 16-year-old Rifqa Bary leave Columbus on a Greyhound bus and shelter her for two weeks in Orlando without notifying authorities went too far, according to police reports obtained by the AP through freedom of information requests.

The six include a Kansas City minister, a Columbus family friend, an Orlando pastor and his wife and two members of the pastor's church.

A lawyer for Rifqa, now an adult, says prosecutors made the right choice.

"They'd have a very difficult time with any of those charges, given that Rifqa would say she was in fear for her life, and so they acted in what they thought were in her best interests," said Kort Gatterdam, a Columbus attorney who has represented her in juvenile custody hearings.

The case of Rifqa Bary resonated nationally at a time of tense Muslim-Christian relations in the U.S. that included one pastor's threat to burn a copy of the Quran. One of Rifqa's primary supporters is a blogger who a year later led a campaign against the development of an Islamic center in New York City near ground zero.

Yup, yours truly, ladies and gentlemen. But Gd forbid they name me. lol

Christians who supported Rifqa rallied outside the county courthouse during one hearing. Others said Rifqa was being manipulated by conservative Christians to flame anti-Muslim sentiments and they questioned her version of the events that led her to flee.

Rifqa, who lives out of state and isn't commenting, alleged she feared harm or even death from her father for converting to Christianity, a charge her parents adamantly denied—and which police could not corroborate—according to the documents reviewed by the AP. But documents did show evidence of deep family tension over her conversion, including a threat by the girl's mother that they might send her back to her native Sri Lanka.

One summer 2009 incident involving Rifqa's laptop, when her father confronted her about her Christian comments on Facebook, underscored the emotions of the case.

Mohamed Bary "picked up the laptop and he was about to beat me with it," Rifqa said in an interview with Columbus police and prosecutors. "And he said, 'Tell me the truth, I will kill you.'"

Mohamed Bary told Columbus and Florida police he was just trying to take the computer away.

"That's not my intention," he said, when asked if he planned to strike his daughter. "I wanted the laptop away and took it away from her."

Police who investigated Rifqa Bary's disappearance said it was alarming that adults helped an underage girl run away without alerting authorities.

"We're spending all sorts of time and effort and energy looking for a child who may be in danger, and had we had that information up front, we could have maybe gotten this thing resolved a lot quicker than we did," said Columbus detective Sgt. John Hurst.

When Rifqa ran away, she ended up at the nearby house of a school friend, where the friend's mother, Fanchon Nicole Hopson, let her stay briefly, then later moved her to a relative's home overnight to keep police from finding her, according to a Columbus police report obtained by the AP and interviews with Hurst.

Hopson told police she knew the girl was leaving but didn't know where she was going.

The day after Hopson took in Rifqa, Brian Williams, a Kansas City, Mo., pastor who had previously baptized Bary in Columbus, drove 11 hours to Columbus to take Bary to the Greyhound station, according to Hurst's investigation.

Check out my radio interview with Brian Williams: Atlas Interview: Rifqa Bary's Best friend in Ohio: Brian Williams ...

Hurst recommended Hopson and Williams be charged with interfering with a child's custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, both low-level felonies.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien declined to file charges in either case, basing his decision on "a combination of things," including difficulties re-interviewing Williams and Hopson.

Neither Williams nor Hopson returned phone and email messages and written letters seeking comment. In one interview with police, Williams, 26, told police, "We were just trying to make sure she was safe."

Hopson, 41, told police that she told Bary to call authorities. She also accused police of trying to create a case against her.

"There is no case to be built and I am a little bit aggravated," she told investigators.

The police were trying to enforce the sharia.

O'Brien also declined to file charges against Rifqa's father after one of Rifqa's court-ordered counselors said he'd threatened the counselor with comments made to another person. O'Brien said an investigation couldn't confirm the allegation.

The father should have gone to jail.

As Rifqa prepared to leave Columbus, Facebook friends in Florida swung into action to help, records show.

On July 20, 2009, Blake Lorenz, the pastor of the Global Revolution Church in Orlando, and John Law, a church member, went to the Orlando bus station where Law used a false name to purchase a $191 bus ticket for Rifqa, paying cash and reserving it with the code name "Ezekiel," according to a charging affidavit prepared by Florida investigator David Lee, as well as interviews Lee conducted with Lorenz and Law.

Rifqa had met Lorenz' wife, Beverly Lorenz, through Facebook, and had sent her a message three days earlier asking for help.

Law told Florida investigators he felt that if there was someone in need and the issue was important to his pastor, "I'm going to help him."

Beverly Lorenz then gave the code word to Williams, who passed it on to Rifqa Bary, Lee's affidavit said.

After John Law and his wife, Wendy Law, picked Rifqa up at the Greyhound station, they took her to a Denny's restaurant, then dropped her off at the Lorenzes' house after midnight.

There, she found a bedroom that the Lorenzes had decorated for her, Rifqa told investigators.

Blake Lorenz said they acted out of fear the girl could be in danger.

"Bottom line is she's crying out for help, help me, save my life, I gotta get out of this community," he told Florida investigators. "And so we were like, well, we deal with helping people all the time in ministry, we'll help her."

Over the next few days, Blake Lorenz tried to find attorneys who would take the girl's case pro bono. He also called the Florida Department of Children but didn't provide Rifqa's name or location. Finally, on Aug. 5, Blake Lorenz reported Rifqa to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Orlando police took her into custody Aug. 7.

Orange and Osceola County State Attorney Lawson Lamar closed the case in Florida earlier this year, saying he couldn't establish the elements of the charges.

Reached for comment, John Law said he had things he could share about the case, but didn't comment further.

Shayan Elahi, an Orlando lawyer who has represented Rifqa's parents, said Lamar abused his prosecutor's discretion by not pressing charges.

Elahi was brutal in the courtroom.

Rifqa, who turned 18 last year, remains estranged from her parents and two brothers.

A Florida lawyer who represented the Lorenzes said Lamar's office did the right thing. Blake and Beverly Lorenz had a legitimate reason to believe Rifqa Bary was in fear of her life because she'd converted to Christianity, said Mat Staver, a lawyer and professor at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.

CAIR Demands Enforcement of Sharia Blasphemy Laws

Apparently a page torn from the quran was left on a "grandmother's" car with the words "fuck it" scribbled on it. Having witnessed so many of these incidents being committed by Muslims (faked hate), color me skeptical. That said, I certainly do not condone silly and sophomoric acts like this.

Having said that, so what?

It may be idiotic, but it is not a crime. It is only a crime under Islamic law, blasphemy laws under the sharia. Islamic supremacists groups and Muslim Brotherhood front groups create situations with the intent of imposing Islamic law on an unsuspecting American public. Fight Muslim Brotherhood proxy groups and the sharia.

As for the car being keyed ....... I say dust for prints. If it was a Muslim, is it still a hate crime?

CAIR-LA Seeks Hate Crime Charges for Vandalism With Desecrated Quran By CAIR

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 12, 2011 -- /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) today announced that it has called on the Anaheim Police Department to investigate a recent incident involving desecration of a Quran, Islam's revealed text, as a hate crime.

Earlier this week, a Muslim woman returning to her car after shopping for groceries noticed a piece of paper taped to her car. She then saw that it was a partial page torn from a copy of the Quran with "F*ck it" written across it in red. The woman also noticed foam sprayed on the driver's side of the car. The vandal or vandals had also "keyed" the car's doors.

FOX Business: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and CAIR on the KIng Hearings

You'll enjoy this. Robert Spencer and I were on Eric Bolling's show on Fox Business. This is the first time we have appeared together on the same show. Very cool. Un-indicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked CAIR joined also and "debated" Spencer, if you can call lies, deceit and ad hominem attacks a "debate.". As CAIR tried out another spokesperson, this one was a beaut. Literally. Nihad Awad was so creepy they had to find a better face. Ibrahim Hooper must have been tending his bees. They once trotted out a very American, vanilla-type convert, Corey Saylor, Director of Government Affairs for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, but methinks he wasn't vicious enough for the wolf pack.

Today's CAIR spokersperson was a doozy. Going by the name "Christina Abraham" (got that? looks like she's got the Christians and the Jews covered with that name), an uncovered Western-looking woman unleashed her fury on Robert. Apparently she is a devout Muslim, because in undercover footage of her urging Muslims not to co-coperate with law enforcement, she is in full Muslim garb. Muhammad said, "war is deceit." Indeed. Watch the video -- there is nothing she doesn't twist or lie about. She tried but one lie after another. She denied this too.Kudos to Spencer for not standing down.

American Library Assoc Caves to Jihadists

This is what it must have looked like in pre-war Nazi Germany. One after another, they all fall down.

The ALA is the same craven organization that caved and cancelled Robert Spencer in 2009 after Hamas-linked CAIR demanded adherence to Islamic law. "Do not defame or insult Islam." The ALA accommodates the sharia.

Check this out from SafeLibraries:

ALA Joins CAIR to Oppose Radicalization Hearings Sponsored by Congressman Pete King
ALA Joins CAIR to
Oppose Radicalization Hearings

The American Library Association [ALA] has joined with the Council On American-Islamic Relations [CAIR] to oppose Congressman Pete King's congressional hearings to "show [the] extent of radicalization in [the] Muslim American community." For proof, read the ACLU press release and letter to Rep. King.

What is CAIR that the ALA should align with it? According to Rep. Pete King, "to me it's a badge of honor to be attacked by CAIR which was named as a, uh, unindicted co-conspirator in a major terrorist financing case." Similarly, a group called Anti-CAIR says, "Let there be no doubt that the Council on American-Islamic Relations is a terrorist supporting front organization that is partially funded by terrorists, founded by terrorists, and that CAIR wishes nothing more than the implementation of Sharia Law in America."

Muslim Brotherhood CAIR on FOX & Egypt Overthrow

Muslim Brotherhood Group CAIR on FOX Pushing for Overthrow in Egypt

Why is Muslim Brotherhood CAIR on FOX news right now? The Islamic supremacist Ahmed Rehab is on FOX denouncing Mubarak, advocating for overthrow.

Rehab is in Egypt right now. How coincidental. The American Muslim Brotherhood in America is in Egypt as the Muslim Brotherhood plots to take over that secular Arab country.

Rehab: "It pains me that my own government back home supports a dictator....."

Horrible. We expect this from the leftist apologist cable networks, but FOX is dangerous because they pretend to get it.

CAIR has been sending out press releases pushing Obama to push Mubarak out (so, inevitably, ElBaradei, Iran and the Brotherhood can take over).

If anyone can get video -- please send it. FOX must stop this propagandizing for the Brotherhood via CAIR. Or at least identify them as such. Why do they cover for them?

CAIR Muslims Appropriating MLK Day

CAIR Hijacks Martin Luther King Day to Advance Islamic Supremacism Over All

IMG00084

It is not lost on me that the Hamas group CAIR would hijack the annual day of remembrance from the passionate zionist and anti-supremacist, Dr. Martin Luther King. They have no shame and no respect for anyone or anything except advancing Islam and the sharia in the West.

CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator and Muslim Brotherhood proxy in the largest Hamas funding trial in US history. Acccording to a captured internal document entered into evidence in that trial, their stated goal is "eliminating and destroying western civilizartion from within."

CAIR is vulger, debased and utterly morally bankrupt, but they know that the corrupt black leadership like Sharpton and Jackson will go along, because they are demagogues as well. Dr. King would despise them. The treatment of black people in Islamic societies is abhorrent -- they are abid, slaves.

Hamas group CAIR has chosen a close confident and "beloved" mentor of the new Ground Zero imam Abdullah Adhami, Siraj Wahhaj, terrorist supporting, unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, as their keynote speaker.

How anti-King.

Move over MLK Jr Day, CAIR makes it Muslim Capitol Day Creeping (Hat tip Diane)

CAIR bills itself as a “civil rights” organization although it is not. If the issue doesn’t benefit Muslims, Islam or sharia, you can bet CAIR is nowhere to be seen. That’s why it’s no surprise that they have hijacked the MLK, Jr. holiday and converted it into Muslim Capitol Day.

Not only that, but CAIR has chosen a terrorist supporting, unindicted co-conspirator to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing as their keynote speaker. What politicians plan on participating in this event with CAIR and the terror-supporting Siraj Wahhaj? From CAIR Seattle’s website:

Featuring: Imam Siraj Wahhaj who will join us during the day’s events and will be the keynote speaker during the lunch/fundraiser. Also featuring various state legislators TBA.

Yes, that is the same Siraj Wahhaj that sharia-promoting Ground Zero mosque imam Faisal Rauf’s replacement has close ties with.

Wahhaj’s profile from Discover the Networks:

In September 1991 Wahhaj stated the following:

“…And [Allah] declared ‘Whoever is at war with my friends, I declare war on them.’ … Your true friend is Allah, the messenger, and those who believe…. Hear what I’m telling you well. The Americans are not your friends … The Canadians are not your friends … The Europeans are not your friends. Your friend is Allah, the Messenger and those who believe. These people will never be satisfied with you until you follow their religion …”

In a 1992 address to an audience of Muslims in New Jersey, Wahhaj expressed his desire to see Muslims seize control of the United States and replace its constitutional government with an Islamic caliphate. “If we were united and strong,” Wahhaj said, “we’d elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him…. [T]ake my word, if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us.”

In the summer of 1999, Wahhaj testified as a character witness for convicted terror mastermind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman. Wahhaj stated, on the record, that he considered it an honor to have had an opportunity to host Abdel-Rahman at his mosque, describing the latter as a “respected scholar … bold … [and] a strong preacher of Islam.”

…In October 1995, Rahman was convicted (along with nine co-defendants) of planning to wage a “war of urban terrorism” against the United States…

Listen to this Siraj Wahhaj speech where he states Islam commands jihad of the true soldiers of Allah (SoA)…and says Muslims all over the world are getting their butts kicked, except those Muslims in Afghanistan.

More on Wahhaj in these previous Creeping Sharia posts.
Be sure that CAIR’s dream is nothing like Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream. Nothing at all.

CAIR Funds Terrorists

The Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR is deceiving, fabricating and twisting a recent ruling on its status as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas terror funding trial in American history. Back in October, CAIR was awfully quiet when the verdict was read. It has since tried ti spin it, counting on Obama's Department of Justice dereliction of duty in not prosecuting the case against Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked groups that are plotting on "eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within" (according to the internal, captured document entered into evidence in that trial).

"The evidence has long suggested that CAIR is a criminal organization set up by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas to further its aims of stealth Jihad in the U.S.," Mr. Yerushalmi said, referring to the fact that CAIR has been named by the federal government as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror financing trial.

CAIR Fights Oklahoma's Sharia Law, not Jihadi's

Pamela Geller Human Events

Oklahoma became the first state to pass a proposition that Sharia-based court decisions and foreign law should be banned, an idea any patriot could love. But on Monday morning a federal judge, Vicki Miles-LaGrange, issued a temporary restraining order blocking Oklahoma’s new state constitutional amendment—that had just been approved by 70% of the vote—which forbids courts to decide cases using Islamic law (Sharia). The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is trying to block the law, and for now they’ve succeeded:
The restraining order will remain in place until another hearing on November 22.

Yet whatever temporary successes Muslim supremacists appear to attain, I believe that the suit and other actions like it are a good thing. The Islamic supremacists are showing their hand and revealing their agenda. The Ground Zero mosque revealed the true face of Islamic supremacists to the American people and unmosqued their real goals, and now, so, too, will the lawsuit being brought by the Hamas-linked, Muslim-Brotherhood front CAIR against the good people of Oklahoma. My colleague, Robert Spencer, an expert on Islam, asks about the Oklahoma Sharia law hearings, “Will Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani be available to testify?”

CAIR Urges Restraint as Explosives Found on Planes

EXPLOSIVE FOUND IN PLANE HEADED FOR US

Again I ask, how many are going to have to die before we can say jihad, let alone fight it or "discuss religious motivation" and reinvigorate the Bush Doctrine (you are either with us or against us)? The left doesn't care how many Americans die -- that's why they are the party of the jihad. Anyone who votes Democrat on Tuesday is declaring himself an enemy of America.

Yes, it's country first, not party. And yes, Obama is very much a part of the problem.

This was no hoax, this was a dry run. Morphing air jihad -- plant bombs in cargo on passenger planes.

US Media Doesn't Show the Counter-Islam Debate

Why won't the media do its job? Investigate ISNA. Instead they accept, at face value, the CAIR representative's completely dishonest answer to this question:

CNBC: "Is there anything to the allegation that the organization has terrorist links?'

CAIR: "There is absolutely no truth to that. This really isn't about the organization certifying it. It's about the conservative blogger who is against this trying to find any excuse to stop anything Muslim in this country."

The anchor accepts that claim coming from another Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked front. You can't make this stuff up. Did anyone look at the evidence that resulted in a 108-count indictment?

Hamas-linked CAIR rep continues:

This is a manufactured controversy. In this case Pamela Geller and her group are just taking this as an excuse, even a dietary accommodation they find to be threatening, they are trying to whip up fear about Muslim sin this country.

It gets worse. "Fear about being picked on or called a name......" How about fear of jihad, moron?

The completely uninformed anchor described the boycott as bigotry. This kind of feckless smear reporting should be drummed off the air. ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood front (click the links at the bottom of this post). Why is the media carrying water for the most radical, intolerant ideology in the world?

CAIR's Plan to Murder Rifqa Bary

Here's a picture of CAIR-Columbus executive director Babak Darvish advising the Barys back last summer. At a January 2010 hearing, Omar Tarazi was going out into the lobby and colluding with the CAIR representative SEVERAL times before and after the hearing. At the very far left, you can see Darvish sitting at his desk supervising the interview. And in this next photo you can see the whole scene inside Darvish's office (this one taken at some other time, as the Barys' clothes have changed, but the picture above them in Darvish's office, as in the other photos, is still the same):

Here was CAIR's PR strategy against Rifqa Bary. And their lapdogs in the media here, here and here.

Rifqa's "loving" radical devout parents releasde Rifqa Bary's personal diaries and private writings to CAIR and released them to the media

We won, but Islamic supremacists are not known for being terribly good sports. Here is the AP's take on the lawsuit:

Blogger who backs runaway Christian convert cites First Amendment in defamation suit response via FOX 59 news

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A blogger championing the case of a Muslim-to-Christian convert from Ohio says allegedly defamatory comments she's being sued over were protected free speech.

Atlas Shrugs blogger Pamela Geller also says many of the postings singled out in a federal lawsuit could fall into the realm of hyperbole and not defamation.

Geller says in a federal court filing Tuesday that she is a journalist writing about a matter of public interest and is protected by the First Amendment.

Tarazi's lawsuit is an embarrassment to the legal profession. Apart from being factually wrong, his emails are riddled with spelling errors. He exhibits little knowledge of procedure and less of rule of law. One has to wonder how these incompetents pass the bar.

Here is the Dayton Daily News:

Blogger Cites Free Speech in Lawsuit

Geller said many of the postings singled out in the defamation lawsuit also could fall in the realm of hyperbole and not defamation.

In addition, statements of facts she may have posted "are accurate reports of statements of others or they are true statements simply," according to the filing in U.S. District Court. Geller was writing about a matter of public interest as a journalist and so is protected by the First Amendment, the filing said.
[..]

Tarazi represented the parents of Rifqa Bary, a Christian teenager who fled to Florida, saying she feared harm from her Muslim mother and father. Bary was returned to Ohio last year and placed in foster care while a juvenile court judge tried unsuccessfully to reunite Bary and her parents.
[...]

Tarazi said Tuesday he had not yet seen the court filings.

Geller has advocated for Bary on Geller's Atlas Shrugs blog.

Geller's attorney, David Yerushalmi, said in an interview that nothing his client wrote was defamatory or malicious in the sense of reporting something she knew was false.

[...]

In his lawsuit, Tarazi said Geller wrongly linked him to Hamas, considered a terrorist group by the U.S. government. He said she also falsely said he was appointed to represent Bary's parents by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

CAIR is a Washington-based Islamic advocacy group. Geller repeatedly refers to Tarazi on her website as a lawyer appointed or selected by CAIR. Her website also includes links to sites alleging CAIR is a terrorist front.

Geller also leads an organization called Stop Islamization of America that placed ads on New York City buses last spring, offering information to those wishing to leave Islam. And she organized a protest on Sept. 11 in New York against a proposed Islamic cultural center to be built near ground zero.

Tarazi said he has never worked for CAIR or been appointed by the group to represent Bary's parents. He said he worked for the couple pro bono except for some minor expenses his clients paid for.

Tarazi said his mother volunteered as a secretary with CAIR-Ohio in Columbus but left that position three years ago.

Muslims Invite non-Muslims to Convert

Muslim Brotherhood Axis Calls for Proselytizing/Conversion to Islam as Solution to Ground Zero Mega Mosque Opposition

During the weekend of October 22-24, mosques are asked to hold open houses and welcome non-Muslims to visit and learn more about Islam….

Well, you have to admire the sheer moxie of these subversives. The answer to the 97% of Americans who oppose the Ground Zero mosque because of location is -- proselytizing to Islam. I kid you not. The Muslim Brotherhood axis are asking all mosques to throw open their doors to non-Muslims (non-Muslims are only allowed in mosques by invitation only and for proselytizing). They are emboldened and they are digging in their heels. The decent thing to do would be to move the Ground Zero mosque and show consideration and kindness to those deeply hurt and offended by this Islamic supremacist mosque at Ground Zero. Show the West reciprocity. Mutual respect. Mutual understanding. Not possible for Islamic supremacists.

One opponent of the project dismissed the upcoming week of events at mosques as a “complete diversion.” Jim Riches, whose son, a firefighter, died on Sept. 11, said he wasn’t interested in getting an education on the Muslim religion.

“They’re not addressing the issue. The issue is there’s 9/11 families whose sons were murdered by Muslims,” Riches said. Opposition to Park51 is “not anti-Muslim, it’s anti-location,” he added. (more here)

For a look at the players in this subversive summit, go here. These are the leading Muslim Brotherhood proxies in the United States.

Imam Feisal ducked this presser due to "security concerns." Give me a break. we are getting the death threats and this stealth jihadist is whining about security concerns. Sick. And Feisal didn't show up in court yesterday (he is being sued in Union City for being a slumlord) because he was -- get this -- "stressed out" (must be all those exhausting puff pieces in the NY Times, CNN, Larry King, Christiane Amanpour). The man has never had a tough interview. Sheesh.

During the weekend of October 22-24, mosques are asked to hold open houses and welcome non-Muslims to visit and learn more about Islam….

Notice how Nihad Awad, cofounder of the unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked CAIR, spews that "misunderstanders of Islam" all over us.

"Park51 is not a case, it is a cause," said Nihad Awad of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "We believe the entire nation has been engulfed into misunderstanding and misinformation. There has been a campaign against this project that we believe is unfair and unnecessary."

National Muslim Leaders Call For Increased Interreligious Dialogue

By: NY1 News

Muslim leaders from across the country are asking for a "National Week For Dialogue" next month, in reaction to the controversy over a proposed Islamic cultural center near the World Trade Center.

Members of 20 of the nation's leading Muslim organizations asked for tolerance and said that Americans of all faiths have the right to build houses of worship where they please.

During the weekend of October 22-24, mosques are asked to hold open houses and welcome non-Muslims to visit and learn more about Islam.

"It is a hope and desire that these events will help to allay tensions in society caused by the Park51 controversy and will build bridges of understanding that unite and strengthen our nation," said Imam Al-Amim Latif of the Islamic Leadership Council.

"Park51 is not a case, it is a cause," said Nihad Awad of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "We believe the entire nation has been engulfed into misunderstanding and misinformation. There has been a campaign against this project that we believe is unfair and unnecessary."

The organizations gathered in Queens yesterday to discuss the controversial Park51 project.

The developer of the community center, Sharif El-Gamal, attended the summit. The proposed center's imam, Faisal Abdul Rauf, did not attend due to security reasons.

The coalition is also encouraging Muslims to reach out and attend services of other religions to increase understanding.

WH Using Taxpayer Funds to Subvert USA

We are under siege from within. Any doubts? Read on.

Myriad government agencies are poised to participate in White House workshops designed to provide US taxpayer dollars to Islamic supremacist groups. On January 27 and 28, 2010, there was a two day meeting between DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano and Arab, Muslim, Sikh, and South Asian “community leaders.” Several of the individuals and organizations represented had controversial radical ties, including the Marxist-Leninist terrorist group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas, and others.

Ongoing infiltration: following up on these meetings were workshops in August:

"The goal is to provide the leaders of groups associated with the parent organization of Hamas and Al Qaeda (Muslim Brotherhood) with tips on cutting through “red tape” when seeking U.S. government access or money. In all 20 national Muslim groups with ties to the global Islamist organization that preaches Jihad are scheduled to participate. Their mission is to obtain cash and other resources from Uncle Sam."

While the U.S. government has kept the event quiet, it was announced in a newsletter by a Saudi-funded group (Islamic Society of North America or ISNA) that was a co-conspirator in a federal terrorist funding case a few years ago.

Kareem Shora, Senior Policy adviser, Department of Homeland Security, gathered stealth jihadists. Atlas readers are familiar with Shora. Back in 2007, I reported here that Shora (then legal adviser for the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee) derided an NYPD report on home grown terrorism: "findings faulty and potentially inflammatory." Now he is at the senior level of DHS. The report identified mosques, bookstores, cafes, prisons and flop houses as what it called "radicalization incubators" that provide "extremist fodder or fuel for radicalization."

Included in these deeply disturbing meetings was Arif Alikhan, another Hamas-linked, CAIR pick and supremacist sympathizer. As deputy mayor of Los Angeles, Alikhan was instrumental in removing the terror tracking plan in LA.

The C.A.I.R. Playbook

Witness the playbook of the stealth jihadists. CAIR and all Muslim Brotherhood proxies share the same playbook, the same strategy to work toward "eliminating and destroying western civilization from within."

CAIR is doing a press conference -- look for the same "victimhood" narrative from the Islamic supremacist hate group.

The struggle against jihad The Ottawa Citizen hat tip DB

While Muslim parents pack public meetings with pronouncements that 'Islam is a religion of peace,' their sons and daughters are being taught something else

Across Canada, apologists of the terror suspects repeated the same mantra. The three men arrested were portrayed as "innocent" and the wider Muslim community was positioned as the real victims of the episode. It was as if the Islamist leadership had dusted off the speaking notes from the days of the Toronto 18 trials when leader after leader stood up to claim the young men arrested were framed, not real terrorists.

As Muslim Canadians, both of us, while asking for the due judicial process to take its course, had no hesitation in condemning the rising tide of jihadi radicalism that is sweeping like a contagious disease among Muslim youth, especially of Pakistani ancestry, across Canada. However, by and large the leadership of traditional Islamist organizations and the mosque establishment repeated the now tired and cliché-ridden depiction of Muslims as the real victims.

Not a single imam that we have heard has mustered the courage to say, "The doctrine of armed jihad is defunct and inapplicable in the 21st century." Instead the same tired old clichés were repeated about Islam being a religion of peace and denouncing terrorism, while keeping mum about jihad.

Saira Rahman, a filmmaker, told the Winnipeg Free Press, "It's so very frustrating. It's very unfair -- you're demonizing communities again and creating a situation where everyone's guilty till proven innocent." She was not alone in being in denial.

From Ottawa, the epicentre of the latest terror threat, Nazira Tareen of the Ottawa Muslim Women's Organization wrote, "99.9 per cent of them (Muslims) are law abiding, hardworking, peace loving, caring and contributing citizens of Canada. ... I personally know all the imams of all the mosques in the Nation's Capital Region and all of them are totally against this type of behaviour. We are unanimous in condemning this type of behaviour." Again condemning "behaviour," but has nothing useful to say about the underlying jihadi ideology.

Obviously Tareen was not aware of the Environics Poll of 2007 that found 12 per cent of Canada's Muslims having a favourable disposition towards the Toronto 18 terrorists and 14 per cent who identified themselves with "extremists" within the Muslim community.

This means there could be as many as 100,000 Muslim Canadians who are hostile to Canada and western civilization. A scary number by any measure.

If individual Muslim Canadians were pushing the victimhood agenda, their organizations were doing no better. The Canadian Islamic Congress, which supported the introduction of Shariah law in Canada, issued a statement saying:

"Canadian Muslims, more than other citizens, are deeply concerned and disturbed ... especially about the psychological, social and emotional impact of these arrests on the wellbeing of Canadian Muslims." One was left scratching one's head: What about non-Muslim Canadians who were allegedly the real targets of these suspected terrorists? The CIC statement went further. It expressed concern about "how these arrests would be managed in Canada and what kind of impact the media reports will have on Canadian citizens of Muslim faith." Added to the spin was the accusation of journalistic "sensationalism, prejudgment, or speculation."

Unfortunately, the Muslim victimhood agenda was helped by the leader of the Liberal Party, Michael Ignatieff, who stepped into the fray by claiming that the terror suspects need to be treated as innocent. He then made this outrageous remark: "It's important for Canadians to realize in the Toronto case, the courts acquitted many people."

Not true, Mr. Ignatieff. While charges were dropped in some cases, not a single member of the Toronto terror plot tried by the courts was acquitted. Everyone who was tried before the court was either convicted or confessed. As card-carrying Liberals, we were shocked to read how our leader was buying in to the Islamist agenda.

The Ottawa arrests have links to a Montreal Mosque, another hotbed of Islamist activity. Two of the suspects attended the Islamic Community Centre Mosque in Brossard. At the mosque too the men in charge were on the defensive, claiming no knowledge of any extremist activity.

Faisal Shahabuddin, a member of the mosque's board when asked to explain how two members of the congregation had allegedly gotten themselves involved in the terror plot, stated, "Why should I explain if we don't know it's true?"

Bucking Media and FBI Currents

One of the worst developments to emerge in the Ground Zero mega mosque attack is the platform being given to Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas funder groups on mainstream media news channels. These subversive organizations are working to destroy us. There are so many Muslims of conscience against this mosque, why would media choose subversives to represent the American Muslim community?

Would American media have promoted Goebbels or Himmler or Hitler sympathizers as representative of German Americans when allied forces were at war with the axis powers? It's the same thing.

FBI refuses to cave in to Hamas-linked CAIR's intimidation tactics over Spencer invitation

A month after the Hamas-linked Islamic supremacist hate group CAIR tried to intimidate the FBI into apologizing for inviting me to speak in Virginia some time ago, Politico noticed the story and asked the FBI about it. The FBI, which is on to CAIR, wouldn't throw the wolves any red meat.

"FBI defends invitation to Islam critic," by Ben Smith at Politico, August 31:

The FBI is defending its invitation to a prominent critic of Islam in America, who is also one of the leaders of the fight to stop a downtown Manhattan mosque and Islamic Center.

The Council on American Islamic Relations complained late last month that Robert Spencer, who runs the Jihad Watch site and is co-founder of Stop the Islamization of America, had spoken to the Tidewater Joint Terrorism Task Force, a combination of state, federal, and local law enforcement centered in Norfolk, Virginia.

Spencer, along with his confrontational stand toward the New York project, has long been at odds with Muslim leaders for alleging links between American Muslim leaders and extremism. He has also been a critic of the religion of Islam itself, suggesting that the historical Mohammed, for instance, did not exist, and that the portrayal of him in the Qaran [sic] is of a "con man."

Highly compressed and tendentious. A fictional con man? This is what happens when ideologically biased reporters in a hurry try to summarize positions they don't understand.

"Our nation's law enforcement personnel should not receive training from the head of a hate group that seeks to demonize Islam and to prevent American Muslims from exercising their rights as citizens," said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper, who also noted that Spencer and blogger Pamela Geller recently published a book subtitled, "The Obama Administration's War on America."

But the chief division for the Norfolk FBI field office, Phil Mann, defended the invitation to Spencer.

"We invite speakers who represent a variety of viewpoints and the special agent in charge of the Norfolk office has invited local Muslim leaders to speak to his staff. That doesn’t mean we enodrse [sic] our [sic] adopt the view of any particular speaker," Mann said. "Broad knowledge is essential for us to better understand and respond to the threats that we face. Knowledge also helps us defeat ignorance and strengthen relationships with the diverse communites that we serve." [...]

Spencer responded to a question about CAIR's attack with a link to his own press release on the matter, dismissing CAIR as a "hate group" and citing praise of his work from prominent conservatives.

Smith doesn't tell his readers, of course, that CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Nor does he mention that CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case. Or that several of its former officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. Or that two of its other officials have made Islamic supremacist statements. Nor does he mention that CAIR also was involved in the Flying Imams' intimidation suit against the passengers who reported their suspicious behavior.

CAIR's attempt to intimidate the FBI and JTTF and dictate their choice of speakers contained numerous false charges, defamation, distortions, and outright lies about me, SIOA, and Pamela Geller.

CAIR has a long record of duplicity and deception. Although it has received millions of dollars in donations from foreign Islamic entities, it has not registered as a foreign agent as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), despite spreading Islamic supremacist propaganda within the United States.

Although it presents itself as a civil rights group, CAIR actually has numerous links to Islamic supremacist and jihad groups. CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Niwad Awad (who still serves as CAIR's executive director) were present at a Hamas planning meeting in Philadelphia in 1993 where they and other Hamas operatives conspired to raise funds for Hamas and to promote jihad in the Middle East. CAIR has steadfastly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups.

Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror:

* Ghassan Elashi, founder of CAIR's Texas chapter, in 2009 received a 65-year prison sentence for funneling over $12 million from the Islamic charity known as the Holy Land Foundation to the jihad terrorist group Hamas, which is responsible for murdering hundreds of Israeli civilians
* Mousa Abu Marzook, a former CAIR official, was in 1995 designated by the U.S. government in 1995 as a "terrorist and Hamas leader." He now is a Hamas leader in Syria.
* Randall Royer, CAIR's former civil rights coordinator, in 2004 began serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding al-Qaida and the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan and recruiting for Lashkar e-Taiba, the jihadist group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai jihad massacres.
* Bassem Khafagi, CAIR's former community relations director, was arrested for involvement with the Islamic Assembly of North America, which was linked to al-Qaida. After pleading guilty to visa and bank fraud charges, Khafagi was deported.
* Rabih Haddad, a former CAIR fundraiser, was deported for his work with the Global Relief Foundation (which he co-founded), a terror-financing organization.

In 1998 Omar Ahmad, CAIR's co-founder and longtime Board Chairman, said: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

After he received unwelcome publicity as a result of this statement, Ahmad denied saying it, several years after the fact. However, the original reporter, Lisa Gardiner of the Fremont Argus, stands by her story.

CAIR's spokesman Ibrahim Hooper once said: "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future."

So I asked Smith why he didn't tell his readers any of this. He responded by saying that he already had told his readers about CAIR, just yesterday, in fact -- and directed me to this piece, which, as you'll see, says nothing about CAIR's Hamas ties or anything else, but instead actually touts CAIR, weirdly, as an "alternative" to Hamas. Smith explained in an email to me: "I understand that you're asking me why I didn't restate the entire case against CAIR, and their response, your response to them, and so on, in my blog item. This is a complaint of a form I get five or ten times a day. I write a blog, and mostly take little bites of stories. I was writing a small item about your appearance -- and your prominence around the mosque issue, and your stance toward obama [sic], make that of modest interest to me, and to readers in general I think, beyond the context of CAIR's complaint -- to speak to the FBI. There are a lot of things I don't write every day, and the history and controversies around CAIR were, indeed, among them."

Every day, or any day. Par for the course for the mainstream media.

Leftist Fanatics Rush to Invent Stories

Lies. Lies. Lies. There is something terrible and dangerous happening right before our very eyes. Can you smell the stench?

Blindly leftist TPM reported it as "anti-Muslim" slurs - of which there were none.

Late Update: The Washington Post was told by the NYPD that Rivera was so drunk that he didn't even know he was at a mosque, and police say they don't believe the incident was bias-related. The New York Post has since updated its original story -- removing any mention of anti-Muslim slurs. A police source also tells the Post that when found by worshipers, Rivera said "My sister's dead."

Late Late Update: The NYPD now confirms to TPM that the incident is not being investigated as bias-related. The NYPD said members of the mosque stated that Rivera did not make biased comments during the incident.

The slasher who stabbed a NY cab driver "because he was Muslim" was a rabid lefty who worked for the Cordoba Initiative/Park 51 (the supremacists behind the Ground Zero mega mosque.) Coinkeedink?

Both the leftwing media and FOX has CAIR on regularly. They should be jailed as subversives plotting to overthrow the government. They are guilty of subversion and that is legally actionable. They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Perhaps the next administration will do what we elect the to do, protect and defend the American people.

This relentless attack on lovers of freedom by the left and Islamic supremacists is madness.

Note to the stealth jihadists and their press tools. We will not shut up. We will not back down. The people are on to you. We have just begun to fight.

IPDATE: Bubbling up from the swamp - I wonder how much they are paying the traitorous mental patient, upChuck Johnson:

Drunk Shouts Anti-Muslim Slurs, Urinates in Queens Mosque

I’m sure this has absolutely nothing to do with the non-stop anti-Muslim hate speech pouring out of Fox News, right wing websites, talk radio and shrieking harpy Pamela Geller: Drunken man urinates on mosque floor.

A drunk barged into a Queens mosque last night and shouted anti-Muslim slurs as he urinated on prayer rugs, cops and witnesses said.

Evening prayers were disrupted at the Iman Mosque on Steinway Street in Astoria when the unhinged man “came in with a beer bottle in his hands, clearly very intoxicated,” said Mustapha Sadouki, who was attending services.

“He fumbled over to our rugs where people were praying” and then committed the despicable desecration, Sadouki said,

The man, identified by cops as Omar Rivera, also allegedly shouted slurs, calling the worshippers “terrorists.”

Two men managed to subdue him. They put him a back room and called 911.

UPDATE: More on hate sponsor CAIR's kufiraphobia.

Rifqa Bary's New Problem

Rifqa Bary, the teenage girl who fled to Florida from her Ohio home in fear for her life after her Muslim parents discovered her conversion to Christianity, has just turned eighteen. Her life is now hers, and her Florida and Ohio lawyers have embarked upon an unseemly victory dance to spin their appalling and failed legal strategy. I have stood silently by watching this, but now they are spinning their failure into a fundraising circus and smearing me and my colleagues, and that cannot stand.

Now that Rifqa has turned eighteen, one of her lawyers, Kort Gatterdam, has done an interview with Tom Trento, an activist with the Florida Security Council. Trento has in turn sent around an e-mail raising funds on the name of Rifqa Bary and excoriating "so many friendly 'arm-chair' lawyers and bloggers who so viciously attacked their own side." By "arm-chair lawyers," Trento means my associate, the attorney John Jay, and by bloggers, he means me. Pot, meet kettle.

If I had to sum the interview in four words, they'd be mighta, cudda, wudda, and shudda. Wish I hadda.

The failed legal strategy of Rifqa's Florida attorney John Stemberger and his Ohio associate Gatterdam refused to address the issue of Rifqa's death threat, or the issues of Islamic apostasy and honor killing -- the only things that gave credibility to Rifqa's claim that her father had threatened to kill her. Their strategy also enabled the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic supremacists to manipulate the legal process and deny Rifqa her civil rights, isolating her from her closest friends.

Rifqa has now turned eighteen, and her immigration status is still in doubt. Gatterdam admits that Rifqa "won't make it" if she is sent back to Sri Lanka, as she could be easily killed there because of her apostasy, but nonetheless, Stemberger and Gatterdam did not make it part of their strategy to try to gain asylum for Rifqa on that basis. Gatterdam even acknowledges that "we didn't know what we were talking about." Got that?

An asylum case based on the death penalty for apostasy should have been Stemberger's opening shot, not a hindsight call.

Instead, their strategy was to obtain Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for Rifqa, and only that. SIJS gives a minor the ability to stay in the U.S. separate from his or her family's immigration problem. In that case, the immigration status would not be based upon any contention that the immigrant would be in any kind of danger back home -- as Rifqa clearly would be. But Rifqa's crack legal team couldn't even secure this status for her.

Now her lawyers are crowing that she didn't have to go home to her parents, but she never would have had to anyway. No child of Rifqa's age at the time she fled from her home -- seventeen -- would have been returned to her home if she refused to go. Whether the threat described by the child has been substantiated or not, a child will not be returned to a home if the child refuses. Period.

In the video, Trento complains about the Barys' CAIR-appointed lawyers "running the clock" -- stalling on resolving the family's immigration status so as to ensure that Rifqa would still be illegal and liable for deportation when she turned eighteen. It is interesting to note that I painstakingly outlined that wrongheaded strategy six months ago at my website AtlasShrugs.com, as further evidence of Rifqa's lawyers' abject failure.

So why did Stemberger and Gatterdam continue to pursue this nonsensical legal approach? Rifqa's entire legal strategy hinged on obtaining SIJS for her. This was the objective, the end run. If they could keep Rifqa out of her dangerous home environment and secure immigration status, then it didn't matter how they did it, as long as the goal was achieved. So they tried to play ball with the Barys' CAIR lawyers and counted on cooperation from them.

They did not understand the nature of the threat and the enemy Rifqa faced. They were playing by a set of rules inapplicable to the challenge they faced. By pretending that Sharia was not the 800-pound gorilla in the room, they were out-strategized -- and now, Rifqa is eighteen and has no legal basis to be in the United States. At one point in the video, Trento notes the irreconcilability of the Islamic faith of the Barys and Rifqa's Christianity and asks Gatterdam, "Do you think that weighed in the fact that the parents would not allow this special immigration status for Rifqa?"

Attorney John Jay, who spent upwards of twenty years in the courtroom, three in juvenile court, observes that "it is not for the parents, who were, after all, Rifqa's adversaries, to agree to any special immigration status. That special immigration status for Rifqa was for her lawyers to secure for her, regardless of parental opposition."

Could Rifqa's lawyers have been more wrongheaded and clueless? They should have applied for apostasy asylum months and months ago.

But now they're singing a different tune. Even while taking shots at "bloggers" who supposedly "viciously attacked their own side," Gatterdam, in part I of Trento's video, at the seven-minute mark, cites exclusive material from AtlasShrugs.com concerning Mohamed Bary's immigration documentation. It proved that Bary perjured himself repeatedly when applying for immigration status under two separate and distinct applications. Gatterdam goes on to say that because of my exclusive documentation, Bary should be investigated and perhaps prosecuted by immigration authorities (he doesn't name me as the source, of course).

What is really rich is that at 13:04, when questioned about being criticized by bloggers, Gatterdam snarks, "Consider the source -- if the source is not a credible one, and most of the people writing those things are not credible." But not five minutes before that, he was citing my work as evidence credible enough to be introduced into a court of law.

It was symbolic of their overall confusion. Says Jay, "They have only these after-the-fact assertions" about how Rifqa's case should best have been conducted. Jay told me this about Rifqa's lawyers: "And like the Barys' perjury in immigration court, they learned what they learned mostly from you and other bloggers trying to help."

Stemberger and Gatterdam are ignorant of Islamic supremacism, CAIR tactics, and the threat doctrine. This makes them far less credible than they're trying to appear to be -- as is evidenced by their failure to secure Rifqa's immigration status. I have studied this subject matter for years. Robert Spencer is one of the world's leading scholars on Islam, and John, who practiced law for 25 years -- most of it as a felony level defender to include a five- or six-year stint as a juvenile court prosecutor and another two or three years working almost exclusively in juvenile dependency court -- observed that. Credible, indeed.

Gatterdam goes on to defend the strategy for pursuing SIJS (which I and many others knew would fail). It did fail, and Gatterdam says so in not so many words. In Gatterdam's own words, "we didn't get that."

The "major issue" is still immigration. The judge did not give Rifqa the legal language that she needed for SIJS.

The major issue still facing Rifqa Bary is her immigration status. As noted above, her legal team turned their backs on an apostasy application with the federal immigration authorities after being directly offered the help of the Pepperdine University School of Law Immigration Clinic, through the auspices of my blog Atlas Shrugs. I am fully capable of documenting this offer of help. But the major blunder occurred early on in the case, in January 2010, when, at the hearing in which an agreed-upon order on dependency was entered, Rifqa's legal team stipulated on the record that the case was not "an abuse case."

Now, in the Trento interview, Gatterdam bemoans the fact that certain "magic words" were not placed in the various orders governing the case by the court, and that the lack of those words have made it impossible to meet the statutory requirements under the United States Code that would make it possible for the Immigration Courts to grant Rifqa Bary SJIS status.

This was not the fault of the Ohio Juvenile Court. The Franklin County Juvenile Court Magistrate was prevented from offering up those "magic words" because of the stipulation that the case was not an "abuse case," as agreed to by Rifqa's own counsel, along with that of her parents. The magistrate was in a simple bind: How could she rule and later certify to the federal immigration authorities that the case was in fact based upon "abuse, neglect and abandonment," when the only factual basis provided to her by the parties for finding dependency was their agreement that this was simply a "conflict" between family members, with no abuse involved?

The Franklin County Juvenile Court did not commit the "miscarriage of justice" in Rifqa Bary's case that Gatterdam complains of. It was the miscalculation of her own attorneys that did that.

And it gets even worse. Rifqa's good friend and mine, Jamal Jivanjee, has been close to this case since the day it began. While my focus has been primarily on the legal machinations of those representing Rifqa Bary in court, he has dealt extensively on the issues relating to her emotional and her financial support, including the support of her friends in the Christian community. He makes some serious allegations about Rifqa's legal team here.

I hope Rifqa Bary establishes a Paypal or GPal account where people can donate to her directly and she gets the dough. There is no way I would recommend that readers who are concerned for her plight donate to these snake oil salesmen.
