The answer given is very illuminating.

It illustrates why real peace is impossible: because the other side doesn’t even know the basic facts about Judaism, Zionism and Israel. It is simply not possible to reach an agreement when one side’s entire conception of the others is, simply, filled with lies.

English Defense League Shows Solidarity with Israel

The English Defence League (EDL) has been meeting with Orthodox Rabbi Nachum Shifren this week ahead of today's demonstration in support of Israel outside the Israeli embassy in London. This is part of the growing interaction between the EDL and the counter-jihad movement in the US that I enthusiastically support.

Rabbi Nachum Shifren is running for Senate in California. Atlas strongly endorses this candidate. Rabbi Shifren is an Orthodox Rabbi and California State Senate Candidate. Rabbi Shifren has received endorsement from the Jewish community in Los Angeles and has been praised by organizations throughout the US for his steadfast support for the American Constitution and individual rights. He has built coalitions spanning all ethnic groups (Korean-Americans, African-Americans, Hispanics). The EDL has built similar coalitions.

Today hundreds of proud Brits stood with the good Rabbi outside the Israeli consulate in support of Israel and against Islamic antisemitism.

Shifren, who is running for the US senate in the upcoming midterm elections, said Britain's Jewish community should support the EDL.

It was also a very eventful day. Just before the Rabbi spoke, a left wing activist demonstrated the criminal impulses of people who choose to call themselves ‘antifascists’ when he threw water at the sound equipment. This did take the system down for a while, and when it was restored there was a definite crackle when the Rabbi spoke, as the video footage will inevitably show. During his speech, Rabbi Shifren severely rebuked the British media for its biased reporting and its unwillingness to address the threat posed by sharia. Due to the fact that the National Union of Journalists already appears to have a partisan and biased view of the EDL, how are people to believe that what journalists write is anything other than propaganda that does not reflect reality? It seems that journalists are now incapable of balance when it comes to issues associated with the rise of sharia. What happened to honest and impartial reporting?

Two Polish former neo-Nazis who recently discovered their Jewish roots were the subjects of a CNN documentary aired on Saturday. The two, who met when they were 12 and were married at 18, describe themselves as having been rebellious youth and slowly becoming affiliated with Warsaw's neo-Nazi skinhead movement during their teenage years.

Ola vaguely remembered having a conversation with her mother when she was 13 years old in which her mother told her about their family's Jewish roots. As she later discovered through her own research, her ancestors hid their Jewish identities in order to escape the persecution of the Nazi Germany and later in the Soviet Union.

As she and her husband became more and more involved in Warsaw's skinhead movement, Ola remembered that conversation with her mother so many years before. Determined to find answers for herself, she went to Poland's Jewish Historical Institute. However, Ola did not only confirm her own family's Jewish roots. She also discovered that her neo-Nazi husband's ancestors were Jewish as well.

"It was unbelievable -- it turned out that we had Jewish roots. It was a shock. I didn't expect to find out that I had a Jewish husband," Ola said of her discovery. She said that she didn't know how to tell her husband the news, but felt compelled to do so.

"I was a nationalist 100 percent. Back then when we were skinheads it was all about white power and I believed Poland was only for Poles. That Jews were the biggest plague and the worst evil of this world," Ola's husband Pawel told CNN. "It is difficult to describe how I felt when I found out I was Jewish... I was angry, sad, scared, unsure."

Pawel also talked about how he has changed. In his new life, he feels bad for some of the things he did and the people he hurt.

The two began to deal with their renewed Jewish identity by attending an Orthodox Jewish synagogue. To this day, they have consulted with and studied under Warsaw's Chief Rabbi Michael Schudrich.

Today, the now-Orthodox couple have fully embraced their Judaism, Pawel studying to work in a Kosher slaughter house and his wife Ola working as a kashrut supervisor in the synagogue's kitchen.

"It says on a personal level, never write somebody off. Where they may be 10 years ago doesn't have to be where they are today. And the human being has this unlimited capability of changing and sometimes even for the better," Rabbi Schudrich said of his two congregants.

OPP Set to Charge Extremist National Post (hat tip Daniel)

Over the past three years, Salman Hossain has openly called for terrorist attacks in Canada, cheered the killing of Canadian troops in Afghanistan and urged fellow Muslims to "exterminate" Canada's Jewish population.

When police started showing up at his suburban home in Mississauga in 2007, he was not chastened. He wrote that he "honestly got a kick out of pissing off the RCMP.... HAHAHA.... You can't charge me for possessing a thought."

Canadian authorities have apparently heard enough of Mr. Hossain's thoughts. Ontario Provincial Police have scheduled a news conference for this afternoon to announce the results of a lengthy investigation into the young extremist.

He is expected to face charges of promoting hatred and, quite possibly, advocating a genocide. If so, it would mark the first time an advocating genocide charge has been prosecuted in Canada. The charges relate to hundreds of racist comments Mr. Hossain has posted on the Internet.

In an indication of the significance of the case, outgoing OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino, Deputy Commissioner Vince Hawkes and Canadian Jewish Congress CEO Bernie Farber are all scheduled to attend the 2 p.m. news conference in Toronto, along with members of the OPP Operations Intelligence Bureau.

The announcement comes nine months after Ontario Attorney-General Chris Bentley told the Jewish community the Crown had decided not to proceed with charges against Mr. Hossain because he was in a rehabilitation program to correct his behaviour.

Far from being rehabilitated, however, Mr. Hossain has only become more outspoken since then. He now openly urges Muslims to organize an invasion of Canada to overthrow the "Jewish run Canadian government" and begin the "mass extermination" of Canada's Jews.

While Mr. Hossain will face criminal charges, arresting him will be more complicated. He left the country before the OPP investigation was completed and is now in South Asia, where he continues to advocate racist violence on his U.S.-based website.

"Yes, I am a fanatic," he wrote in one of his recent posts from abroad. "I am ready to kill millions." Last week, he wrote, "We must never cease in our efforts to eliminate the Jewish people from the face of the earth. Their permanent liquidation and destruction is the only solution."

Under Canada's hate propaganda law, it is illegal to advocate or promote a genocide against an identifiable group. Offenders face up to five years imprisonment for each count. The law has been on the books for decades, but it has never been used.

Your Pitch is too Pat Like It Has Been Boilerplated

You might try to lighten up your approach a bit. Too well-written for a casual comment, there is too much hyperbole to be believed. If they walked around any Arab World country mouthing your words in English or [gasp] Hebrew, they would be beheaded for knowing too much history.

As Long as We Are Being Biblical

McCain Backer Claims Hitler Served God's Will

John Hagee, the controversial evangelical leader and endorser of Sen. John McCain, argued in a late 1990s sermon that the Nazis had operated on God's behalf to chase the Jews from Europe and shepherd them to Palestine. According to the Reverend, Adolph Hitler was a "hunter," sent by God, who was tasked with expediting God's will of having the Jews re-establish a state of Israel.

Going in and out of biblical verse, Hagee preached: "'And they the hunters should hunt them,' that will be the Jews. 'From every mountain and from every hill and from out of the holes of the rocks.' If that doesn't describe what Hitler did in the holocaust you can't see that."

He goes on: "Theodore Hertzel is the father of Zionism. He was a Jew who at the turn of the 19th century said, this land is our land, God wants us to live there. So he went to the Jews of Europe and said 'I want you to come and join me in the land of Israel.' So few went that Hertzel went into depression. Those who came founded Israel; those who did not went through the hell of the holocaust.

"Then god sent a hunter. A hunter is someone with a gun and he forces you. Hitler was a hunter. And the Bible says -- Jeremiah writing -- 'They shall hunt them from every mountain and from every hill and from the holes of the rocks,' meaning there's no place to hide. And that might be offensive to some people but don't let your heart be offended. I didn't write it, Jeremiah wrote it. It was the truth and it is the truth. How did it happen? Because God allowed it to happen. Why did it happen? Because God said my top priority for the Jewish people is to get them to come back to the land of Israel." (Listen to the audio below.)

The sermon, which was first posted by Bruce Wilson on his site, Talk To Action, adds another element to Hagee's controversial stance on the state and history of Israel. It also may provide a new round of political headaches for McCain who has admitted that seeking out Hagee's endorsement was a mistake, but still declared himself "glad to have" it.

A spokesman for Hagee confirmed the authenticity of the remark, which can be found at around the 1:08 mark of his sermon "Battle For Jerusalem."

Since McCain secured the endorsement, both his campaign and Hagee have been pressed to explain a series of derogatory remarks the Reverend made about the Catholic Church, including his reference to the institution as "the Great Whore."

Hagee has since apologized for those remarks. But his interpretation of the role of the Nazis could be harder to dismiss, in part because McCain and Sen. Barack Obama are expected to compete heavily over the Jewish vote come the general election, in part because McCain has said he admires Hagee's commitment to Israel, but mainly because similar theories have found their way into much of the Reverend's writings.

As Wilson notes, in his 2006 book "Jerusalem Countdown", Hagee proposed the theory that "anti-Semitism, and thus the Holocaust, was the fault of Jews themselves -- the result of an age old divine curse incurred by the ancient Hebrews through worshiping idols and passed, down the ages, to all Jews now alive." He also wrote that "Most readers will be shocked by the clear record of history linking Adolf Hitler and the Roman Catholic Church in a conspiracy to exterminate the Jews."

Hagee is considered, in many political circles, to be one of the most passionate and strident supporters of Israel. He has spoken at AIPAC conferences and leads the evangelical group Christians United for Israel. But his views of the country, while possibly shared by others in the evangelical community, can be, at times, startling. Holding to the belief that Armageddon will come to earth following the reestablishment of the Kingdom of Israel, Hagee has advocated an aggressive war against Iran and has opposed any Israeli military withdrawal from the West Bank.

McCain, at least in the public record, has sought to thread the needle with the Hagee association: distancing himself from the controversial comment while reaping the political benefits of the Reverend's endorsement. Appearing on ABC's "'This Week" in late April 2008, McCain criticized Hagee's past remarks on the Catholic Church, but said that, "I admire and appreciate his advocacy for the state of Israel, the independence of the state of Israel."

Jews Without Sin

This is a reaction to an Arab propaganda piece. In it two men dressed as West Bank settlers describe their plan to blow up the entrance to a Muslim school for little girls. I refuse to show you the video, but I will assert here it is a fake.

My guess is the bombers were Americans. Their Hebrew was heavily accented and they had different facial expressions from Israelis. Further, no native would ever talk about such a mission planned or completed.
Jews rarely murder anyone or any other living thing. You can't buy a fly swatter in all of Israel, for example. It is forbidden to prune a living plant or a shrub.
Israelis have many faults, but I have never met an outsider who was aware of a single one.

My Message to the Jews

I realize very well that you are not carbon copies of each other. And I also know that there are many Jews around the world who truly despise what Israel has been doing to the Palestinian people in your name.

I earnestly commend these conscientious Jews for their morality and human decency. It is these honest people who enable us to retain the hope that counting on Judaic morality is not a lost cause.

Non the less, there are huge numbers of Jews who have found themselves transformed into soldiers of darkness and advocates of evil. There are Jews who shamelessly advocate the total annihilation of the Palestinian people. Unfortunately, these psychopaths are not isolated or marginal figures. On the contrary, they are highly respected by their hundreds of thousands of followers.

It is these misguided and misguiding multitudes of Jews I am addressing in this brief article. And, in truth, my ultimate goal is not to vilify and demonize, but rather to warn and admonish them to wake up from worshiping this modern Golden Calf, otherwise known as the State of Israel.

To begin with, I would like to remind you of a Talmudic story, which I believe is familiar to many of you. The story is told that a heathen came to Shammai with the request to be accepted as a convert on condition that he was taught the whole of the Torah while he stood on one foot. The Rabbi drove him away with the yard-stick which he was holding. He then went to Hillel with the same request; and he said to him: “What is hateful to you yourself, do not do to your fellow-man. That is the whole of the Torah and the remainder is but commentary. Go, learn it.”

Yes, yes, what is hateful to yourself, don’t do to your fellow-man. What beautiful words of light and wisdom!

Now are you mentally prepared to accept this universal law, which nearly every Jew on earth would agree encapsulates Judaic (and supposedly Jewish) morality?

If you are, then you should thoroughly examine your attitudes toward Israel, a state that has more in common with the ideas of Hitler than it doses with the teachings of Moses.

Israel is deceiving you, lying to you and betraying your moral legacy, the legacy bequeathed by the Israelite prophets, and their (our) forefather Ibrahim, who taught mankind “thou shall not murder, thou shall not lie, and thou shall not steal…..and be just.”

I am sorry to speak in such a harsh tone, but, in truth, Israel and Zionism succeeded through the years in transforming you from a people who believe in justice and value morality into murderers and justifiers of murder, into thieves and justifiers of theft, and into liars who have to change the black into white and the white into black in order to cover up their shame, and then call the lies strange names such as hasbara and public relations and political correctness.

In your name, Israel, knowingly and deliberately, is slaughtering innocent people, including children.

This is not done by mistake as Israeli leaders and spokespeople would falsely claim. When “mistakes ” happen every day and every hour and every minute, they are no longer mistakes. They are policy. Besides the images are too graphic to be ignored and too obscenely brazen to be dismissed as “Arab propaganda.” They transcend reality.

In your name, Israel has been carrying out ethnic cleansing, in its ugliest forms, all under the pretext of “maintaining Israel’s Jewish identity!!” you see the pornographic oppression, coming from a people who claim to adhere to the Ten Commandments.

In your name, Israel in the summer of 2006 dropped millions of cluster bombs or bomblets all over South Lebanon. Is this the light upon the nations that you claim to be? Shame on you!

It is because of your crimes against man and God that we, the Palestinians, have effectively become “the Jews of our time,” while you have effectively become the “anti-Semites of our time.” You, the Jews, the victims of the holocaust, and the numerous pogroms and inquisitions, have turned out to be like all underdogs, when you get on the top, you become as murderous and as brutal to your victims as your former oppressors were to you when you were underneath.

The Nazis looked down on Jews and others as untermensch, and you are looking down on us as “Arabs”.!! The Nazis sought expansion at their neighbors’ expense and called it “lebensraum.” And you are doing the same, under the pretext of building “housing units for Jews.” The Nazis carried out “pacifications” in which innocent people were mercilessly killed; and you carry out “defensive operations” during which you wreak death and havoc on innocent people. At least the Nazis didn’t lie about their criminality as much as you do about yours. You are not only evil murderers and great child killers. You are also nefarious liars.

The Nazis believed in an Aryan “master race” and you, Zionists, are trying to make a “race” out of Jews. Your methods are similar and your goals are nearly identical.

You can’t deny this; we are not naive North Americans or Europeans whom you think you can bamboozle very easily. We have been through it all, from creation to destruction.

I am saying this because in the final analysis when people, any people, including Jews, behave and act as the Nazis did, they themselves become Nazis. Evil, whether done by a “master race” or a “chosen people” is evil. Evil can’t be kosher. True, there are no gas chambers in Gaza and Hebron. But you are killing us with F-16 fighters and tanks and artillery and apache helicopters. So, the outcome is the same. Besides, the writing is literally on the wall. Come to Hebron and see for yourselves.

Too harsh?

No, it is not, because if what is happening today in Palestine at the hands of holocaust children and grand children and great grandchildren is having no effects on your individual and collective conscience, it is immensely naive to think that you will experience a moral awakening when the pharaohs of Israel, people like Matan Vilnai, choose to carry out their threatened “greater holocaust” against our people.

Many of you may be forgiven for being ignorant of Israel’s reality of evil. But you are not a people of ignorance. Which means you are doing and supporting evil knowingly and consciously. If so, you are no better than your past tormentors.

Don’t be so excited about America’s unlimited and unrestricted support and backing. America is not helping you to uphold your moral principles, America is “helping” you to destroy these principles, which you are doing anyway.

Needles to say, when an evil power “helps” you corrode your moral system, this should not be a cause for joy and satisfaction. I am sure that wise men and women amongst you understand the meaning of my words.

Finally, I call on you to wake up from this toxic arrogance of power, this collective megalomania and false sense of triumph. You are actually experiencing a collective psychosis, a virtual moral meltdown. Hence, you are really in a big trouble.
And, now, a few words to Jews in Israel-Palestine. Soon you will be celebrating Israel’s 60th anniversary, which is for us is a profoundly inauspicious occasion commemorating evil and genocide. Because you destroyed our homes, obliterated our towns and villages, perpetrated untold massacres, and expelled the bulk of our people, at gun point, to the four corners of the globe. And you had the audacity to call all of this evil “war of independence” and to claim that “they just fled away…”!!!

Notwithstanding , you are still as blind as you are brutal despite the passage of 60 years.

If you had invested a fraction of the means at your disposal; if you had used your energies and industriousness and creativity for peace with your neighbors, peace would have been realized a long time ago.

But you were not interested in peace then as you are not interested in peace now. Instead you were busy then and as you are busy now stealing our land and building thereon Jewish-only settlements inhabited by fanatical settlers who are taught that the only way to expedite the appearance of the “redeemer” is by shedding non-Jewish blood and doing evil.

Well, since when murder and evil can produce good?

Non the less, it is perhaps not too late to try to rectify your evil ways and morbid thinking.

Try to reach out to the Palestinians and Arabs and Muslims. Remember, this is a predominantly Muslim region, and in a few decades, there will be 700 or 800 million Muslims in your vicinity. Think about your future generations. Maybe, just maybe, America’s military and economic power will have gone with the wind by then.

More over, try to show respect to Islam, because without respecting Islam, you don’t really respect Judaism. This is instead of vilifying the religion that describes the Torah as “a book of light.”

And stop this dishonorable alliance with those pseudo-Christian maniacs who advocate and actively push for a worldwide Armageddon in which hundreds of millions of people, including 99% of Jews, would perish, all in order to induce the second advent of Jesus.

But above all, stop killing and tormenting the helpless Palestinians for you had been helpless yourselves. Stop killing their children. Stop destroying their homes. Stop confiscating their land. Stop imprisoning their sons unjustly. Stop narrowing their horizons. Stop your mass murder, mass terror and mass oppression. Stop making a hell out of our daily life. Yes, stop it, if not for justice and human decency, then for your own safety. Oppression boomerangs as we saw recently in Jerusalem.

And don’t get emboldened by American officials who tell you …Kill, kill, kill and we will stand by you! because America and its immoral politicians are thousands of miles away…but we are destined to be neighbors, or even citizens of the same state.

And remember, it is not an act of heroism to murder unprotected innocent civilians, using the state-of-the-art of America’s technology of death. History won’t be kind to you.

What heroism is there in having an F-16 fighter rain death on sleeping children and women at a refugee camp?

Shame on you.

Israelis and Arabs May Find Unity in Death

Israelis and Arabs forget we have common enemies. Here is a possible scenario. Four nuclear devices explode in the four major Israeli cities.
The Israelis launch 250 fighter/bombers to nuke 500 population centers in the Arab World.
Years later the few survivors may learn it was a false flags CIA op, or maybe a Russian ploy to obtain oilfields.
Continued turmoil plays into the hands of our enemies.

Friends for Peace

My Bedouin friends outnumber my Jewish ones. By nature, I respect the individuality of everyone I meet. Any friendship that develops is by mutual consent and effort.
When the USA bombed Gadaffi, my Gazan work crew saved my life by hiding me from the other Arabs on site. When two terrorists opened fire on King George Street, I hit the deck with every other unarmed Jew in the vicinity.
The perpetual war between Israelis and Palestinians only proves that we are not any better [or worse] than any other battling groups on the planet.
The journey to peace starts when one person discovers his humanity and begins to look for that quality in another human being.
In every society the good people vastly outnumber the evil ones. Unfortunately, the evil-doers are much more organized and better able to pursue their selfish desires.
