There is a creeping menace in America today: Muslim radicals are using liberal courts and activists, as well as U.S. businesses, to implement Islamic law that runs counter to every freedom our Constitution protects.

Liberals love to ridicule Americans who warn of Islamic infiltration in the U.S. as fear-mongers, xenophobes, bigots, racists or whatever usual epithet pops into their left-wing minds. Whether we are talking about the efforts of the Muslim Brotherhood to make inroad in the United States or the goal of the Islamists to implement Shariah Law in the West, the noise from the Left is always the same: ridicule and marginalize.

Well, this message is aimed straight at the minds of those thinking Americans who can and will make a difference and are willing to stand up for our republic: Islamic radicals want to see Shariah Law as the governing law of the United States and the rest of the West. They will not be satisfied until all of us are under their dictatorial thumb.

This is why you'll read the truth about the goals of the radicals in the pages of Townhall Magazine and not in the liberal media -- or even the pages of other conservative publications that bury their heads in the sand.

And you'll, of course, never hear the truth about it from the Obama administration.

JUBA, Sudan – The referendum is known as "The Final Walk to Freedom" — a symbolic journey for those who fought in decades of war, for villagers whose homes were bombed, and for orphans who ended up in U.S. communities as the Lost Boys of Sudan.

The weeklong independence balloting starts Sunday for the southern third of Sudan — Africa's biggest country — on whether to draw a border between the north, which is mostly Arab and Muslim, and the south, populated mostly by blacks who are Christian or animist.

For southern Sudanese like Atem Yak, who survived war, lived amid dire poverty and endured discrimination, it has been a long time coming.

Yak was 5 when Sudan gained independence from Britain in 1956. Yak, now 60, remembers when two dozen chiefs died in attacks in his home village of Kongor in the 1960s. In Sudan's capital, Khartoum, Yak's deep black African skin incited mistreatment.

"I never saw the flag of Sudan as something I owed allegiance to," he said. "The national anthem never represented my will. So I will not shed tears when Sudan breaks into two, provided that this is done peacefully. I will be happy."

Southerners in Juba were not just happy — they were ecstatic Friday as they anticipated the vote. Wearing feathers and grasping ceremonial carved sticks, they danced on dirt streets in a growing city that will be the south's future capital if the referendum passes. They pounded on drums and sang chants for independence.

Southern Sudanese will cast simple, illustrated ballots at polling stations under thatched roof shelters in the remote and impoverished countryside and near newly paved roads in Juba, a city of simple concrete houses and mud huts that got its first paved roads only in recent years.

Yak is educated and wealthy enough to own a car, a rarity in a region where half the people rely on food aid, only 15 percent can read and children die for want of basic medicine. Yak sees the referendum as an opportunity for the African residents of Sudan, who are often denied resources in favor of northern Arabs.

A sharp economic divide lies between the regions, with infrastructure development and government programs heavily weighted to the north. Only 2 percent of southerners complete primary school while 21 percent in the north do. The south, which is the size of France, has only 30 miles (50 kilometers) of paved roads. The north has 2,200 miles (3,600 kilometers).

The top U.S. official in Southern Sudan, Barrie Walkley, said the lack of paved roads made getting polling materials to the sites "remarkably difficult," and that helicopters and motorcycles were used. People also carried the material over long stretches in the many areas where no roads exist.

The U.S. has made the referendum a foreign policy priority and has offered to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terror if Khartoum doesn't hinder the vote, which would create the world's newest country.

The 1983-2005 civil war killed an estimated 2 million people and left many others missing one or more limbs. The presence of these victims throughout the south is a testament to the horrors of the conflict.

More than 1 million people headed north to escape the fighting, and about 3,800 war orphans known as the Lost Boys of Sudan resettled in the U.S. Some of those orphans will join thousands of other Sudanese to vote at polling sites set up in eight U.S. cities.

Dolly Odwong, 45, remembers Russian-made planes bombing the southern capital, which mostly held women and children because the men were out fighting.

"The coming generation will not feel the way we felt. We don't want them running the way we were running and hiding, because when the war started everybody had to run and hide," Odwong said. "Life was very difficult, and people were saying 'God, why us?' That was the question. So now we are thinking that God has heard our prayers. And he is saying 'You people are going to be free.'"

Choosing secession, the south's ruling party tells voters in a pamphlet, will "fulfill the dreams and aspirations of your forefathers, heroes, heroines and martyrs who died in the struggle for freedom."

For the referendum to pass, a simple majority must vote for independence and at least 60 percent of the 3.9 million registered voters must cast ballots.

"Like all other observers I think the referendum will likely produce an overwhelming vote for secession," said Zach Vertin, a Southern Sudan analyst for the International Crisis Group.

If the referendum passes, much work remains. The north and south must reach agreements on the distribution of oil revenues, rights to the White Nile, official borders and citizenship rights. Aid groups fear that southerners living in the north and northerners living in the south will face harassment and abuse.

"At this point, it appears the referendum itself might come off relatively peacefully," said Mike Abramowitz, who leads the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's genocide prevention efforts. "But this is just a first step. This remains a fragile and volatile situation, and the danger will come in the months ahead as the world turns its attention to other matters."

For his part, Yak agrees that "The Final Walk to Freedom" will open a new path on which the quality of life for southerners can be improved as they take command of their own future.

"When you are free ... it should be a means to promote the welfare of others," Yak said. "To me, independence is not an end, it's a means. The struggle will start the day independence is declared."

A MUSLIM girl caught between her religion, her parents and wanting to be a typical Aussie teenager is at the centre of an apprehended violence order against her father after he found she had a boyfriend.

Police were called to the family home after the man threatened to kill himself and the 14-year-old girl when he discovered the boy in a room of their home, Parramatta Bail Court heard yesterday.

The man, who cannot be named, allegedly told police the relationship was disrespectful to Muslim culture and brought shame on his family in the Afghan community.

The court heard he tried to detain the boy in the early hours of New Year's Day at the house in Blacktown.

The family called police because they were scared the father would kill the boy.

After police arrived, the man became enraged because they would not arrest the boy, who had been invited into the house by his daughter.

He said the boyfriend would be killed if the incident happened in Afghanistan, the country he and his wife had emigrated from in 1998.

"The accused then stated, as the boyfriend would not be going to jail, the only thing left to do was kill his daughter and himself," police said.

"The complainant is stuck between her religion, strict parents and wanting to be a typical Australian teenager."

Officers claimed that on October 27 the daughter ran away from home. Her father said he would kill himself if she did not return by sundown.
Comment: Muslims [50%] have had a corrupted gene pool from first cousin marriage. The correction involves marriage with non-Muslims.

Islamic Show Trials Begin in Turkey

However, this time may be different because PM Erdogan is a very shrewd man and has built up his power gradually over time, reaching the point where he feels strong enough to engineer a reverse military coup."

If Europe dares to approve Turkey for EU membership, with its dreams of a resurrection of the Ottoman empire, it's the death of the continent.

While participating in a Middle East panel of the Academy of Achievement in Chicago in September of 2007, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned against religious definitions of terrorism and specifically objected to the phrase "moderate Islam." Erdogan said, "Turkey is not a country where moderate Islam is sovereign. First of all, the 'moderate Islam' concept is wrong. The word 'Islam' is a simple word -- it is only Islam. If you say 'moderate Islam,' then an alternative is created."

Religious study is now mandated in state schools in Turkey.

Why You Might not Live in a Muslim Country

In another instance, a Christian woman has been thrown into a basement in a prison and told that she has to remain there for the rest of her life - OTHERWISE, if she leaves - no one would stop her - she will be KILLED for polluting the Moslems who pass in the same air she has walked through, or where she has trodden and thus must DIE!

In Iran, when Reza Shah Pahlavi took over as Monarch, Jews were not allowed to leave their homes if it were raining outside as the rain running off them would similarly pollute where Moslems might want to walk and make them "unclean"! The Monarch put an end to that.

But our HIDDEN pro-Islamic regime in the USA under Oba-Hussein (no friend of the country) delights in using Islam as yet another tool to destroy the USA. There is not a single Moslem country that does NOT believe he is a fervent "closet" Moslem and revel in this conviction and laugh at "we the people" for being so easily fooled by his "taghiyeh" (lies allowed to protect/promote Islam).

There are terrific Moslems everywhere but as you can read in the psychological profile they have built in challenges in trying to accept or conform to Western mindsets. There are many who have changed themselves in order to live among Westerners and Islam allows them to drop many of the outward trappings of Islam in order to blend in while they still devote themselves to Allah in their hearts. This INCLUDES not having to wear Islamic clothing.

Putting to the lie that Islamic tenets and customs HAVE TO BE allowed in other countries to respect Islam. They can dress, behave and live like the rest of us in public without breaking their laws! BUT - their fanatical, jihadist fellow Moslems prevent them from assimilating - at least outwardly - as they lose power and control over them.

Obamaodinga "We will not tolerate such behaviours in the country. The constitution is very clear on this issue and men or women found engaging in homosexuality will not be spared," Mr Odinga said.

"This [homosexual] kind of behaviours will not be tolerated in this country. Men or women found engaging in those acts deserve to be arrested and will be arrested," he told the crowd....

A move by Uganda to introduce a Bill calling for long jail terms or death penalty in some cases of homosexuality received international condemnation, with US President Barack Obama describing it as "odious".

He said: "But surely we can agree that it is unconscionable to target gays and lesbians for who they are, whether it is here in the United States or... more extremely, in odious laws that are being proposed more recently in Uganda."

But notwithstanding Obama's remarks, homosexual acts are now illegal in Uganda and attracts jail terms of up to 14 years in prison.

This New York honor killing was not committed by some recent third world immigrant. This was a successful business man, assimilated into Western culture (as much as Islam allows). One can only imagine the homemade prison, the abject terror the beheading victim, Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37, had to live in (and die under). She sought to obtain an order of protection from her Muslim husband. To no avail. It was, sadly, her final act of bravery, for which she paid with her head.

Now moderate "Mo," “a troublesome and problematic inmate” is verbally and physically assaulting the Holding Center officer. Brutal, violent Muslims attack and then cry racism, "white nazis!". I feel sorry for the guards that have to put up with this human stain.

Hassan charged with harassment Buffalo News

Muzzamil S. “Mo” Hassan was charged Friday with misdemeanor harassment and obstruction for the Erie County Holding Center disturbance he blamed on “white Nazis” who patrol the downtown lockup.

During brief court proceedings, City Judge E. Jeannette Ogden ordered Hassan, 45, returned on Nov. 29 for further proceedings on the complaint.

During a court appearance Wednesday for his upcoming trial for the decapitation slaying of his estranged wife, Hassan complained that up to 16 “white Nazi” guards attacked him Nov. 10, leaving him fearful that he will be killed and his death called a suicide.

Also during the appearance, Hassan said he was waterboarded.

In a legal turnabout, Hassan is charged with attacking the Holding Center guard he had accused in court of attacking him.

Undersheriff Mark N. Wipperman, who could not be reached to comment Friday, earlier denounced Hassan’s complaints as “preposterous.”

Wipperman called Hassan “a troublesome and problematic inmate” since his incarceration after the Feb. 12, 2009, beheading of his estranged wife, a week after she had begun divorce proceedings.

In City Court papers filed Friday, Hassan is accused of verbally and physically assaulting the Holding Center officer.

At about 8:45 p. m. Nov. 10, Hassan cursed and lunged at the guard after he had ordered Hassan and oth-

er inmates to get into their cells for nightly lockup, according to court papers.

The guard told superiors Hassan struck him in the chest and right arm. “Acting in self-defense,” the guard said, he wrestled Hassan to the floor until other guards came to his aid.

Though Hassan claimed he was bleeding following the disturbance, an examination showed no bleeding on Hassan and neither he nor the guard involved in the incident appeared injured.

A Wayne Valley High school student used the word “Taliban” and said it was innocent, mentioned in a conversation about a video game, but a Muslim student who overheard it at school on Thursday perceived he was looking at her when he said it. So the child was suspended.

More knee-jerk submission to sharia (Islamic law: do not insult islam) for fear of Muslim violence. There can be no other explanation. These cowards call it political correctness, but it is way beyond that now.

How dare they suspend this child for saying "taliban"? A Muslim girl perceived the student was "looking at her" when he said it.......... so Muslim pereception = suspension.

This is beyond.

And the Taliban are devout Muslims, adhering to the strict code of the sharia. Could it not be argued that the school insulted Islam by implying that Taliban is a bad word and not a devout, holy Islamic group? Obama is partnering with Taliban in Afghanistan, is he not? Where is CAIR defending the piety of the Taliban?

Is the punishment the same for Muslim students who "offend" or are "perceived" to offend non-Muslim students?

Based on this impossible standard, every Muslim Student Association on college and university campus should be thrown off campus for their harassment, intimidation and threats towards the Jewish students. Based on this, they should serve jail time.

Bullying dispute erupts at Wayne school over ‘Taliban’ comment North Jersey.com

WAYNE — On one side, a Wayne Valley High school student claims that his use of the word “Taliban” was innocent, mentioned in a conversation about a video game, according to his mother.

But to a Muslim student who overheard it at school on Thursday, it was upsetting. And she had perceived that he had looked at her when he said it, Principal Robert Reis said.

Now the boy is facing a one-day suspension on Monday, because, Reis said, he continued to talk about the incident and it got back to the girl and upset her. Reis said she felt the boy was boasting that he’d gotten away with something.

“This has nothing to do with the fact that the boy used a word,” Reis said. “This has everything to do with the boy hurt a girl’s feelings.” And after the boy was told by administrators not to discuss what happened, Reis said, “He went back and hurt her feelings a second time.”

But the boy’s mother, Rosa Giordano, said the incident “is totally being blown out of proportion” and she plans to fight the disciplinary action.

The incident has unfolded during a time of heightened sensitivity about bullying in schools. Reis said the school takes a “no nonsense” stance and coincidentally had been planning a December forum to discuss the issue.

Giordano said her son was not being a bully and is himself bi-racial.

“He never saw this girl before,” she said. “It was an innocent thing. How does she know he was not talking about a newspaper story?”

She said she plans to go to the district offices early Monday morning to fight for her son to be allowed to attend school that day.

“I don’t want this on his record as a racial slur and bullying,” she said. “I am sorry the girl got offended by the world ‘Taliban.’ I will make sure my son never says the word again … the poor kid is so upset he doesn’t want to go to school.”

Reis said administrators had planned to treat the situation as a teachable moment and meet simultaneously with both students to talk about it. The boy was suspended after the girl came to Reis upset a second time.

Giordano claims her son was embarrassed by the incident. She said he told a friend “nothing happened” because he didn’t want to talk about it, not to brag that he got away with anything.

"A teachable moment?" Clowns with a slave mentality are teaching our children.

Muslims Told to Reject the West

A just-released intel report validates what this blog, Jihadwatch, and a few others have been warning for years. It is a Canadian report, but is hardly exclusive to our neighbor to the north or the US. The West must face this colonization of a hostile and "parallel society."

It is not a new idea or perversion of Islam. It is pure Islam, original Islam, and they are following Islamic teaching. The only "misunderstanders" of Islam are those who deny this reality and in effect collude to advance Islamic supremacism.

You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consquences of avoiding reality.

Muslims Told To Reject West: Report National Post (hat tip John)

A newly released intelligence report says hard-line Islamist groups want to build a "parallel society" in Canada, which could undermine the country's social cohesion and foster violence.

The de-classified Intelligence Assessment obtained by the National Post says extremists have been encouraging Muslims in the West to reject Western society and to live in "self-imposed isolation."

The report focuses on groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which do not advocate terrorist violence but promote an ideology at odds with core Western values.

"Even if the use of violence is not outwardly expressed, the creation of isolated communities can spawn groups that are exclusivist and potentially open to messages in which violence is advocated," it says.

"At a minimum, the existence of such mini-societies undermines resilience and the fostering of a cohesive Canadian nation."

The report was written by the Integrated Threat Assessment Centre, which monitors threats to Canada's national security and is composed of representatives of CSIS, the RCMP, Foreign Affairs, National Defence and other agencies.

It was circulated internally last year after Hizb-ut-Tahrir invited Muslims to a conference in Mississauga, Ont., to discuss the establishment of an Islamic caliphate. A copy of the document was recently released under the Access to Information Act.

"While the issue of violence by Islamist groups has continued to be a counter-terrorism priority for Western governments and particularly security services for many years, Islamist social ideology appears to have gone unstudied, precisely because the use of violence is either unsupported or understated," it says. "Nevertheless, several Islamist movements advocate a rejection of Western society and mores, and encourage self-imposed isolation of Muslims in the West."

It says Islamists believe that Islam should govern all aspects of society and that Sharia law and state law should be "synchronized." Extremists forced to flee Muslim-majority countries such as Egypt now preach these beliefs in the West, it says, adding, "By definition, their world views clash with secular ones. A competition for the hearts and minds of the diaspora Muslims has hence begun."

That competition has surfaced in the United Kingdom, where the outlawed Al Muhajiroun told Muslims not to submit to any "man-made law," while in Denmark some Muslims are administering their own form of justice, it says.

We have seen sharia law in New Jersey. Back in July, a Muslim husband raped his wife and the judge saw no sexual assault because Islam forbids wives to refuse sex. Court order blocks Okla. amendment on Islamic law Breitbart

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order blocking a state constitutional amendment that prohibits state courts from considering international or Islamic law when deciding cases.

U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange ruled Monday morning in Oklahoma City following a brief hearing. It prevents the state election board from certifying the results of Tuesday's general election in which the amendment was approved by 70 percent of the voters.

The order will remain in effect until a Nov. 22 hearing on a requested preliminary injunction.

It was issued in a lawsuit filed by the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma. Muneer Awad said during the hearing that the law stigmatizes his religion.

CAIR-OK Executive Director Muneer Awad was interviewed today by WND senior reporter Aaron Klein on New York City's WABC 770 AM.

At one point, Awad grew so heated he accused Klein of lying and asked the blusterous question, "Do you condemn the KKK?"

The discussion began with questions about CAIR's legal challenge to a ballot initiative passed by Oklahoma voters that bans judges from using Islamic law – known as Shariah – in court decisions.

Awad argued that the voter-passed constitutional amendment is a violation of Muslims' First Amendment rights, and that "Shariah law has never been used in Oklahoma before this amendment came about."

Klein pointed out, however, that the amendment was intended to be preventative.

The United Kingdom, for example, now has 85 separate Shariah courts for Muslims that operate in parallel with the Crown courts of the nation, and one judge in New Jersey already has cited Shariah in a defense of a man accused of assaulting his wife, though the judge's decision was overturned in appeal.

"A religious law can never replace and conflict the law of our land," Awad countered. "Shariah law doesn't govern the case; Shairah law is something for the judge to consider in order to come to a ruling."

Awad insisted that Shariah is compliant with both American values and its Constitution, since the Islamic law is "dynamic" in that it changes based on circumstances, including governing law of land where implemented.

Peace Preparation Palestinian Style

The 'Palestinian' court system is preparing itself for 'peace' with Israel by reiterating the death penalty for any 'Palestinian' who sells land to Jews.

Judge Ta'et At-Twil, according to a report by the Palestinian news agency Ma'an, ruled that selling, or attempting to sell, land to a foreign country was a criminal offense which could result in the death penalty.

In a statement released following the ruling, the Palestine General Prosecution said the move represented "a consolidation of the previous legal principle," adding that the "ruling aimed to protect the Palestinian national project to establish an independent Palestinian state."

Last year, a Palestinian military court sentenced a man to death by hanging for selling land to an Israeli company, with then prosecutor Issa Amer saying that the defendant had sold land that didn't belong to him in the village of Beit Ummar using forged documents.

What could go wrong?

The Obama administration has included the Arizona state immigration law in a report of human rights abuses to the United Nations, that collective negation of humanity and home to the worst human rights abusers in the world.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer struck back Friday, demanding that the reference to Ariozna's immigration law be taken out of the State Department's report to the UN's human rights commissioner. Brewer wrote a letter to Hillary Clinton saying that the inclusion of Arizona in the UN report was "downright offensive." Brewer said -- and she was right -- that "the idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review' by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional."

First Barack Obama attacked America by suing Arizona for passing a law that merely reflected federal immigration law. And now this.

Decades before the post-American president took office, Ayn Rand saw the UN for what it was, and what every free person should have known it was -- and it has only gotten worse since then: "Psychologically, the U.N. has contributed a great deal to the gray swamp of demoralization -- of cynicism, bitterness, hopelessness, fear and nameless guilt -- which is swallowing the Western world."
